#Great pan (2010-07-26) Considering this is only 5 pounds is amazing really good pan, you do have to cure it as it is cast iron, but i haven t had any problems with sticking and because it s cast iron it gets better the more you use it, it will last you for life unlike one of those non stick ones.
#Worst. Pan. Ever. (2010-07-21) The food all stuck to the pan, despite it being hot enough. After it had been washed it became covered in an orange rust-like coating that wouldn t come off, so I returned it as I didn t fancy eating that! I know it was only cheap, but the other reviews sounded so promising!
#skillet (2009-12-22) Bought this for a christmas present and it looks like the best one I have ever seen. Is even better than my expensive one.
#cast iron skillet (2009-10-24) cooks if your looking for a cast iron skillet , this is the one. I know your have lots of good times cooking with this skillet. I m glad I found this item to cook with. Happy cooking. Mike.

This deluxe cast iron griddle is reversible with plain and ribbed cooking surfaces. 47cm x 27cm. A family business, Kitchen Craft was originally established in 1850 by Thomas Plant as a manufacturer and wholesaler of ironmongery and household products. The company is today still owned and managed by direct descendents of the founder and whilst the essence of the original business is maintained, we have developed over the years to become Kitchen Craft, a respected consumer brand for all types of kitchen products and accessories.

#Good for family cooking (2010-06-30) A bit of a pain to season it first in the oven. It had to be put in diagonally as this was the only way it would fit! Works a treat now for cooking enough food at one go for a few people. Have used it a lot and am pleased with its performance.
#griddle (2010-04-29) this works brilliantly on the BBQ as well as on the hob. the flat side is perfect for drop-scones (frying pan always too small) and fry-ups. ridged side obviously does what it should. the only problem is washing up, it is usually worth it.
#Best piece of cast iron I ve bought all year! (2010-04-24) Wonderful product! Curing it proved a little difficult due to my small oven, but managed it okay in the end, and now I m making the best fried eggs I ve ever had. Well worth the effort!
#Very Poor Quality At Any Price. (2010-04-20) I purchased this item on the 17/04/10 and received it on 20/04/10 so was very happy with Amazon regard service, hence the one star. As for the product it was dirty had a coating of something on it and it was so twisted you could rock and roll on it. Price is irrelivant if the product is of poor quality and this product is poor. This is the first item I have had to return and I must compliment Amazon on this service, very easy to follow.
#Check the measurements.. (2010-03-04) I bought this and it was a bit of a gamble as not used anything like it before. I did the seasoning before use but everything still stuck to it and I haven t got around to doing it again yet. I was pretty disappointed that it didn t work first time and ruined my lovely homemade burgers! It fits nicely over two rings on my gas cooker but it didn t fit in the oven itself so I had to put it in at an angle! That meant most of the oil I used to season it with ran off in the oven and hence, needing to redo it. So my advice is to ensure you che...

Cast iron ribbed grill pan by Kitchen Craft. 23cm / 9 inches. Cast iron handle length approx. 12 cm./ 4.75inches. Full instructions included.

#Poorly made and unusable. (2010-06-19) This is the second Kitchen Craft Clearview Cast Iron product I have had to return to Amazon because of their poor quality. The first one was a Griddle Plate that was not level and therefore rocked from corner to corner. That was replaced and although the replacement was still not flat it was usable for what I needed it for (on barbecue). I then ordered (believing that I had been unlucky with the griddle plate) and received this grill pan that has been cast to such poor quality that it too is not flat-in fact, it is even worse than the first...
#Worst Grill Pan (2010-06-03) This pan gives too much smoke, . I used it for about one week and then gave up, bought other brand . . . i will not recommend anyone . . . .
#Griddle pan (2010-05-12) Why didn t I get one earlier? My ME specialist recommends high protein breakfast - bacon and eggs. yes on a diet! But when I have done it before, my family are concerned about the fat content. I have had none of the problems with the griddle that others have had. I prepared it as instructions ( not rocket science) and now have crispy bacon, and ungreasy mushrooms and tomato. Also great for chops etc. It heats up quicker than the grill, I wash it every few uses, so don t need to lift it much, and enjoy the flavour of the food. Very good value for mo...
#Waste of Money (2010-05-08) The pan gives off too much smoke, is difficult to clean and rusts far too easily. I used it for about three weeks and then gave up. No wonder it is so cheap but it was a false economy for something that was junked quickly. If you want something decent then it is worth paying more.
#Worst Grill ever bought (2010-05-03) What a waste of money i wanted a simply lightweight grill to replace my older one and this looked great however it arrived and is so heavy i have to use two hands to pick it up and can barely lift still. I wouldnt suggest anyone buying especially smaller people like myself because itl take hours just to keep lifting it in and out of the cooker

#Great steaks! (2010-07-04) Juicy steaks in no time with this fantastic grill pan. Ideal for red meat eaters. When cooking chicken make sure you use skin on, or else it gets very sticky.
#Of course it s heavy (2010-06-20) Other reviews have complained that the pan is too heavy. Of course it s Heavy. It s made of cast iron for a purpose. I found it is exactly what I expected and wanted. It holds it s heat very well. All you have to do is to get used to the inital and subsequent heat to suit whatever you are cooking. It s a good idea to look at the various expeiences and views on the web in order to formulate your own methods for cooking and cleaning.
#Excellent product for a fair price (2010-06-01) I was looking a La Creuset pans first, but their price put me off immediately. I took the risk of going for the Molten instead and I don t regret it at all. Whoever complains about the weight of the pan and the iron handle - dudes, it s iron cast! Your children and grandchildren will be using this stuff. . .
#Superb Red Griddle (2010-05-04) This griddle cooked the steaks perfectly. The lines left on the steaks by the griddle made them look very professional. The only down side is the fact that the griddle is super heavy. You have to make sure when you are dishing up that you have somewhere to place the griddle, as it is far too heavy to hold. Also the handle of the griddle gets very hot. Bearing all this in mind, I am very happy with this purchase.
#Fanastic cookware (2009-10-30) I have taken up cooking again after a long absence and I decided to purchase a Cast iron Griddle at a reasonable price and the Molten fitted the bill perfectly. Yes it s heavy but thats what Cast iron is. . but cooking with this material is like no other and of course it will last a lifetime when cared for correctly and this Molten is built extremely well, being made from one piece so no fear of any handles dropping off. It also has two pouring lips just in case you were left or right handed and a lip at the back to use both hands for those weaker then mos...

#put those chops on (2009-12-27) Greatly pleased with this pan. A heavy beast, but this ain t for omolettes. Get that barbeque taste on your meat, fish, par-boiled vegetables etc. Soak in warm water and clean gently, will last forever.
#Simply Better Tasting Meat (2009-11-03) Chichen and steak. Thats all I cook in this baby. The taste is a massive improvement over a normal frypan. Don t hesitate. Just buy one.
#Heavy and a cleaning nightmare (2009-07-10) While I love the Le Creuset pots I find the pans very difficult to handle. They are incredibly heavy and so difficult to clean. Noone else in the house ever wants to wash this so I m left with the overly difficult task! Would never buy another one.
#Versatile, practical and stylish (2008-10-13) My second foray into the Le Creuset cast iron range was this superb Grillit - or griddle-pan to the rest of us! At 26cm, it s big enough to cook one huge beef steak or several smaller items like chicken breasts. It s a good, sturdy pan with a lip on each side to help you pour off the fat and a good sized handle and a helper-handle to facilitate lifting it. As with all cast iron kitchenware, it s VERY heavy, so not something to consider buying unless you know you can cope with the weight. It holds the heat fantastically and takes no time ...
#A new kitchen essential (2008-09-10) I was given one of these as a present and it has rapidly become a kitchen essential. I use it for all meat cooking, reserving my frying pan for delicate fish, rissotto and stir fry (I really should get a wok!). It is also great for grilling vegetables. As with the entire Le Creuset cast iron range, it is seriously heavy and you will find yourself using the lifting tab that is opposite the handle. But that heaviness delivers consistent heat and you can rely on the entire cooking surface being an even temperature. The interior is black enamel wi...
