#Brilliant buy! (2009-04-30) I bought this blender being impressed with the reviews on Amazon, and i just couldn t be without it now! Making healthy drinks and meals is so much easier and lots of fun with the included chopper. Making smoothies takes seconds! The noise of the blender is a bit louder than previous blender s i ve used but this is just one powerful blender! I love it!!!

Checked everything. . . still dead. Returned to Amazon. Replacement arrived immediately. Unpacked, assembled, read instructions very carefully, turned unit on - dead. Nothing. Zilch. Kaput. #Kenwood BL440 Blender, 1.5 Litre (White) (2009-05-11) A good low priced blender with the bonus of a smaller unit included and buying through Amazon with free postage makes it a real bargain. Wattage and performance very good compared to similar blenders but not up to the job for anybody into serious everyday blending - they would need a much more expensive almost professional model. Base units seem dishwasher safe but let down by a washer that rusts.

#Good but washer always cuts quickly! (2009-04-19) This is the second on we have had in the past few years. It is a good blnder. Do like the second base attachment. However, like before the problem of the washer getting cut is still there. On the very first day we managed to cut the washer by over tightning the base with the jar. Now, it leaks quite quickly. A second washer would have been nice or some way of determining when to stop tightening the jar!

#Blender review (2009-03-28) Very sturdily built item. Seems robust. Only comment is the dome that the blades sit on means that food is trapped under the blades and doesn t always get processed. If only a small amount of food is being processed this can be difficult

(2009-05-19) I previously owned a similar Braun product that I was very pleased with, but could no longer obtain the attachments with ease, and as I wanted a large chopper attachment and an ice crusher, this seemed ideal. Amazon had this at a very good price and I am very pleased with it. It does all that my previous blender did and more. #Wasn t expecting much, but it surprised me! (2009-07-01) I d never bothered to buy a hand blender before, but I now use this every day, and for almost everything. #Broken after one day. (2009-06-19) It arrived yesterday on the 18th!! I was so happy about making my avocado dipping sauce. Firstly, it was rubbish, the end result was rather lumpy as the avocado was just being pushed to the sides and upwards. #Good low-cost mixer (2009-05-17) Beats almost anything very easily. Beaters with no plastic parts should last a long time. Requires a plastic bowl as a steel or glass one would be too noisy to use.

#Very good mixer (2009-05-11) I find this mixer performs as good as my previous Phillips mixer that cost double this one. The six speeds are useful. My only criticism is that it cannot be stood up on the worktop when not in use.
