#Super Tempting Ice Cream ..... (2009-02-07) Dont buy this product if you want to lose weight . . . . . it makes the most fantastic ice cream ever. Buy a couple of recipe books and your away . . its so easy. And sooooooooo good.
#Fast, good looking, easy to clean machine, makes smooth ice cream or frozen yoghurt (2008-11-14) Out of the box this is a very elegant looking machine compared to most ice cream makers. I had a Philips one some years ago and this unit is no noiser than that, they all seem to make some noise due to the gearing. Freeze the ice bucket in your freezer for 24 hours and its ready. Put on the lid with the paddle and motor and away it goes, pour your mixture in and freezing begins immediately. If the mixture actually freezes completely the machine changed direction to remove the blockage, ...
#Fantastic & Quick (2008-10-10) I was in two minds about buying an ice cream maker but in the end opted for this one. The reviews were mixed but more in favour of this machine. I ahve to say that this is the easiest machine I have used - in 20mins you have ice cream. . . how easy is that. Ive not tried any of the recipes in the book that came with it, I got mine from the internet. I would definately recommend this machine. One word of warning though don t over fill it as it expands when it freezes.
#tilly trouble (2008-07-25) ICE CREAM MAKER ARRIVED TWO DAYS AFTER ORDERING, HAD MY INGREDIENTS READY AND COULDN T WAIT TO HAVE A GO. PUT THE BOWL IN THE FREEZER OVERNIGHT AND BINGO DELICIOUS ICE CREAM AT THE VERY FIRST ATTEMPT. HOPE IT WASN T A FLUKE, I M NOT USUALLY THAT SUCCESSFULL. I THINK IT WOULD BE DIFFICULT TO GO WRONG WITH THIS MACHINE.
#Easy Ice Cream (2008-05-16) Purchased this ice cream maker on a whim, had seen one used on a TV programme. Read the Amazon reviews and decided on the litre size and ordered one. Ordered and delivered and used within less than a week. I have rushed from my first attempt at Vanilla ice cream and am so impressed have had to write my review. The amount of mixture seemed very small in the preparation stages, but by the time it has churned it had doubled in size. Will now not be buying anymore shop bought ice cream and already in overtime thinking of the many varities of ice cream I w...

#Superb ice cream, but noisy (2009-06-27) Ice cream is great. . . so far tested on over 50 folks. Real ice cream parlour stuff. Here come the but. . . . . . . . . definitely noisy. Thankfully I have a utility room to house this monster, and shut the door. Found the free recipe a little too sweet, Try reducing the sugar by 25% or more.
#Best Buy EVER (2009-05-18) Ive had an icecream maker for several years, but the last one had a bowl that needed to be frozen - which I often lost the urge to make icecream. So I bought this one after reading lots of reviews. I could barely wait to try this machine. The first batch disappeared as soon as it came out of the machine, so had to make a second one. Since then we have made icecream every few days. I made Ginger and Rhubarb and a Honey and Whiskey for a dinner party last week, plus a strawberry and orange sorbet. One guest who claimed to dislike honey and whiskey had 4 hel...
#not as good as expected (2009-05-08) We had a Gaggia before but it sadly died after 7 years hard use. Cuisinart - likes - Professional looking. Fewer bits to clean. Do not need to add alcohol into the bowl first. Timer is reliable. slightly lighter to lift in and out of the cupboard. No chilling of the machine before churning. dislikes - VERY noisy. The standard vanilla recipe is too sweet. Ice cream does not firm up into a good serving consistency (too soft even after 60 mins churning) and melts too quickly. Impossible to serve it straight from the machine, must go ...
#Buy It! (2009-04-30) How easy can it get to make really exceptional ice cream? Chill your ingredients first, pour into the machine and wait for 45 minutes. Have made rhubarb and ginger and lemon and vanilla as well as lavender ice creams. Yes its noisy and take care to add the bits rhubarb etc towards the very end of the cycle - but the results are truly fab
#cuisinart (2009-04-20) We replaced our magimix machine with this professional machine and purchased this particular model after reading through numerous competitor reviews and decided on it due to the excellent 5* reviews from other buyers, although expensive its well worth the moneyThe up sidesThe machine makes excellent quality ice-cream in about an hourThe downsidesIt is quite noisy but once you get used to it, it s ok(you can always leave the kitchen)

#Cuisinart Ice 30 Ice cream maker (2009-07-04) Cuisinart ICE30 ice cream makerExcellent product. Makes ice cream to die for.
#Fantastic ice cream in 20 minutes (2009-07-02) I was highly impressed with this ice cream maker. The bowl is a larger capacity, which may be problematic if trying to fit it in a small freezer. However, the ice cream and sorbets it produces are excellent, with a lovely smooth texture which stays smooth even when stored in the freezer. My husband was delighted as I was able to recreate a flavour of ice cream which is no longer avaliable in the shops to a professional standard. I would highly recommend this machine. We haven t had to buy any ice cream since this arrived.
#ice cream maker ice 30 (2009-06-26) Exellent ice cream maker simple to use and quickley makes a large bowl of ice cream I liked the way the bowl turns and not the paddle which just rests inside the bowl unlike other ice cram makers I have used where the paddle and motor are joined together and inserted into the freezing container only one switch on and off and it looks good on the working surface easy to keep clean instruction and recipe book could be better
#Perfect First Time (2009-02-18) We received ours in the post yesterday and immediately cleaned and froze our canister so that we could make ice cream today. (We chose pistachio. ) Not including the time it took to prepare the nuts- making what we think REALLY IS the best ice cream we ve ever had was quite quick and easy. It took about 30 minutes from liquid to firm - then, into the freezer for an hour to firm up. We just scooped our very first serving and are thrilled with the results. My husband is very hard to please. . . . The components are easy to assemble, easy to clean and c...

#Not bad - nice ice cream... (2009-06-14) It s true - there s a discrepancy between the named 1. 5l and specified 1. 14 l capacity - but it does make a fair amount of icecream, although I ve not measured precisely I think it s more than just 1. 14l. The bowl isn t so big and does fit in our very small freezer. It makes icecream quickly - usually in 30 minutes. The machine is easy to clean and although I initially had doubts about the sturdiness of the plastic paddle and spindle, they ve stood up to purpose so far. Even with chunky ice cream additions. I don t know if it s the best...
#Great present (2009-05-22) This was bought as a present for my sister-in-law and she loves to use it, producing many different flavoured ice-creams. The size is perfect as it is big enough to make puddings for a reasonable number of people but not so large as to leave you with loads of ice-cream jamming up your freezer.
#Magimix Le Glacier 1.5 Ltr ice cream maker (2008-07-21) How can the product be called a 1. 5ltr machine when the spec says ist 1. 14ltr?This is naughty!!
#Cool (2006-11-23) This is a great piece of kit. I bought it in January 06 to replace an old, smaller Magimix ice-cream maker with a coated insider (like a non-stick surface) which was starting to peel off. This one has no coating and it just a pure and rather stylish stainless steel. I chose this one so it could double up as a ice bucket, which is does well as there is no branding on the main tub. Oh, and the ice-cream is very nice too. The paddle is nice and large and works well, getting all the way to the edge of the tub. The mixture usually doubles in size (which is not so...
#Icecream without Additives (2003-04-29) An excellent machine - I would have given 5 stars but having to remember to put it in the freezer a day before can be a nuisance, it is a bonus if you have room to store it there permanently. Knowing exactly what goes into the product is a bonus but I use mine to make dairy-free icecream which is really expensive to buy from a shop. This machine pays for itself in no time.

#Great for its size (2009-07-04) Assembly is simplicity itself - pop the paddle into place in the top of the machine (the part containing the motor)and the whole assembly then locks into the base with a quarter turn. Turn on machine and pour in ingredients. What could be simpler? I have only 2 minor criticisms - the relatively small amount of ice-cream this size makes and having to wait several hours for the base to re-freeze. But hey, it s relatively inexpensive and I ve had mine for 10 years without it going wrong once, now that s a good product.
#Great Ice Cream (2009-07-03) Really pleased with this machine. I also bought the Ben & Jerry s Ice Cream Making book but found the recipes in the book supplied with the machine are just as good. You just need to know the basics and experiment to your hearts content. Well worth the money.
#Foolproof healthy ice-cream, what s not to love? (2009-07-01) A completely unqualified success, is what it is, the bowl now lives permanently in the freezer and we re experimenting with using a yogurt base instead of a custard base. Fantastic results - no additives, no added sugar, and we ve probably saved the price of the machine already by not buying posh commercially made ice-cream. I maybe wish it didn t have to live in the freezer but on the other hand, fresh gorgeous ice-cream. . . . difficult choice.
#Le bon glacier. (2009-06-04) I purchased this together with Ben & Gerry s ice cream recipe book. I neglected to get the blade rotating prior to pouring in the ice cream mixture first time in my enthusiasm to get going. Otherwise good results and no fuss. With le glacier and our two North American friends who have shared their excellent recipes,I have achieved far better flavours than available commercially at any price.
#Does exactly what is says! (2009-05-20) It produces a small amount of ice cream but it does exactly what is says. I dont understand how people find it so difficult to assemble- It is very simple to assemble and even easier to use! If you need to start the motor and then attach it to the bowl because it wont start, this is because where the switch meets the bowl there is a small hole. If water has got in there and frozen then the switch wont start - just remember to clean and dry it properly like all kitchen equipment. If you want to simple ice cream maker then this is the one...
