#All You Need For A Brilliant Price (2009-07-03) This modem router was cheap to buy and simple to set up. It supports WPA2 and mac address filtering so, can be made quite secure. Since replacing my Zoom router with this one, I have noticed a big improvement in the stability of the connection. Previously, I had blamed my ISP for the regular loss of connection. Additionally, wifi works really well (good, strong signal) anywhere in our house now - before, this was not the case. If your requirements from your wifi modem router are basic functionality, reliability, good connection speed...
#Netgear DG834G Modem / Wireless Router for BT line (2009-07-01) I have been using a BT Voyager 190 for years with my AOL account. This connects to my PC with an ethernet cable - but only works in the room with my main BT socket. I have always avoided asking AOL for a wireless router because they want £15 a month rather than £10. Instead I bought my own Netgear DG834G wireless router so that I can use my laptop anywhere in my flat. Plugged everything in and the setup disk configured everything automatically in a few minutes - completely hassle free. Also needed to buy an LM USB Wi...
#A must buy for the home network! (2009-06-29) I bought the modem/router after my dodgy Belkin finally died. It was reasonably priced, compact and quick to set up. So far I have had no problems at all (touches wood) and the security setups are really straightforward to utilise. I highly recommend this item for anyone who wants a cheap little wifi modem/router for the home.
#Broken firmware makes this product a door stop (2009-06-23) Beware of some technobabble below. The bottom line is that this will either work with your machine(s) or will drive you up the wall. And you can t configure your way out of trouble. This product is good right up until the point you need to renew your DHCP lease, or do a DNS lookup for a local machine name. I m running the latest firmware and it s, quite simply, broken. After an amount of time of working (around a day), I found that most (except Linux) clients became completely unable to talk to the router or beyond it. ...
#As easy as pie!! (2009-06-21) I agree with other reviewers, that this product is so easy to set up and use it just about does it for you. You do as it tells you and hey presto you are now wireless!! I would recommend this to everyone as I ve never had any problems or difficulties. Just read the instructions and it can t go wrong, it is practically idiot proof!!

The Linksys Wireless-N ADSL2+ Gateway is the all-in-one solutionfor Internet connectivity. The ADSL2+ Modem function gives you ablazing fast connection to the Internet far faster than a dial-upand without tying up your phone line. The Router functio

#Wireless Modem/Router. (2009-05-21) Checked Which reports first and decided on the Linksys WAG160N as being the best buy for my particular needs. Purchased it via Amazon which gave the best price for item from Keep Talking Shop . Item delivered promptly and is up and running and working well. It was easy to install following disc instructions supplied. This wireless link has noticeably improved my Broadband Speed. My phone line extension to my Computer was too long thus causing speed problems. In addition this product gives sufficient wireless protection to avoid interferen...
#Very stylish design coupled with good performance (2009-05-07) I ve never used a Linksys router before and have normally stuck with Belkin and have tried Netgear (which I didn t like). The firs thing you notice about this Linksys modem router is it s stylish design. It s relatively simple to set up and install and I had no problems in setting up for my wireless network. The software is easy to follow and you just follow the wizard. Being an `N router it has far better wireless coverage over our house than a G router. I d recommend an N router over the G or B routers any day for ...
#The first wireless router that worked in my house.... (2009-04-22) I have previously tried three different wireless routers over the years, made by BT, Thomson and Netgear. None have worked reliably, perhaps due to the large amount of metal used in the structure of my house (particularly plumbing). The Netgear worked best but it still was slower than it should be, and the connection dropped out annoyingly often. This Cisco unit, however, worked straight out of the box with no fiddling about, no re-positioning needed. The data-rate is the same as my wired connection, and now all my P...
#nice small, and excellent range wireless router (2009-04-16) I have had problems in the past with routers, but this one advertised as having a very impressive wireless range. The router is nice and small in size, and designed very well. It has an inbuilt antenna which is more asthetically pleasing to look at. It has just 1 button on the entire router. . a reset button. It seems that ciso knew which button people would most like to use. This button didnt really seem to work very well for me when I tried it a few times, so I just usually reset the router by flicking the mains s...
#Fine but Not 100% (2009-04-12) We reviewed this new router having used Netgear dg834 Rangemax as a baseline to compare against. The router looks neat and trendy, having blue Led symbols in the black plastic bonnet shape. Normally have our router wall mounted - and this one does have keyhole slots to do that. The cable ports are at the back when its flat, but that means they are at the top when wall mounted if you want the LED symbols the right way round. Set up was pretty straightforward. Didn t use the wizard, as we have quite a complex topology. Normally the default IP address...

#Powered USB hub (2009-06-22) With an ever increasing number of USB stuff to connect, I needed to upgrade my hub. I ve used several other 4 port USB hubs from a range of manufactures in the past and they have all gone in the cupboard since I connected up the D-Link. This is not just because I needed more connections! I had always had trouble with my external hard drives (who hasn t) and sometimes the computer would not see them after coming out of hibernate or stand-by and you had to pull out the USB lead and reconnect (always risky) just to get the computer to see them again. ...
#Does exactly what it s meant to do. (2009-06-17) I ve had one of these hubs for. . . well. . . . ages now. It s performance has been absolutely flawless and I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a good quality powered USB hub. What more can I say?
#Truly is hot swapable (2009-06-10) I ve had hubs with flashing lights, hubs that were cute shapes, but every single hub I ve ever owned has frozen my pc whenever I took something out while it was on, or attempted to plug something in while it was on. Not this hub. It truly is hot swapable if you have a pc running Windows XP. I can t vouch for Vista, but with XP it works a dream. OK, so it isn t the prettiest thing in the world, but I didn t want a work of art, I wanted something that worked, and this does. Plus it s small enough to just sit on my desk and - glory be - comes with a...
#Does what it says on the tin (2009-06-01) Worked fine straight out of the box. I did have a few problems getting all seven ports to register but managed to get them all working after unmapping some networked drives.
#Works as expected (2009-04-27) The box is fine basically but I don t know why all the 7 USB port lights are on even when some of them are not used.

Adds up to seven USB devices to your computer. Features two top-load USB ports for quick access. Includes an internal weight and stay-put pads to keep hub anchored to the desk. Requires no external power supply (for most devices). Compatible with Windows 98/SE/2000/ME/XP/Vista and Mac OS 9.2 or higher for full speed USB. Comes with a manufacturer s Lifetime Warranty.

#It Looks Cheap But Does the Job (2009-06-28) Although it looks cheap and plastic, this is another good 7-port USB hub from Belkin. The stackable nature of the design is a nice idea but it isn t as well realised as it could be as the linked hubs tend to heat up more quickly. The peculiar acentric stacking style also jars with my own aesthetic taste, but that is a minor quibble.
#No-nonsense piece of kit (2009-06-13) Easy to set-up. Working in two minutes. The only downside is that Netgear insist on bundling these with somewhat bulky and cheap-looking transformers. For £49 I d hope for something a little more slimline and lightweight. However, the unit never misses a beat. Sensible buy for reasonable money but, if you don t think you ll need the extra speed of this, then there are other versions which are considerably cheaper.
#Not so Good design (2009-05-31) This Belkin 7 Port USB Hub does what it is supposed to do, but I am always disappointed by design which are not properly thought through. On this hub 5 of the USB connections are on the front, but also the host and the power connections, leaving the USB ports crammed and no space for anything more bulky than a standard USB connector.
#Does as it should. (2009-05-22) I ve loads of devices plugged into this hub. It always works as it should. Can t really fault it. The ports on the top are really useful for plugging in USB pen drives. Not really much more to say! At the time of purchase Amazon had the best price.
#Power Supply (2009-05-07) Probably a good hub. I bought for use with a laptop and to resolve the problem of a large memory stick interfering with other USB connections. However there is a serious error in the description. Under Features , it is said to be USB Powered. It isn t. It is mains powered and has a power adapter (13A). This means that it is NOT suitable for use with a battery powered laptop.

This design gives you two ultrafast USB hubs in one: a stable baseand a travel hub. The 3-port base can connect your larger morestationary equipment such as printers and hard drives. Thedetachable 4-port travel hub offers a great connection point fo

#Very good - no problems (2009-05-22) I needed to update an ancient USB hub, and this one is great. It just works. Very good.
#Great HUB.. (2009-04-22) A great hub and a direct replacement for the great f5U237 thats discontinued - same size plus extra features of pull out travel hub. Great design pity belkin made the pathetic 307 the main product instead of this wonder!
#Very good little hub. (2009-03-28) This is a very good little hub, looks bigger than it is, but it does exactly what it says. Belkin stuff is always good quality, also some cheap hubs dont work well with Vista but this one works fine. The detachable 4port section works fine with its own little light and the ability to rotate through 180 degrees, also when it is plugged into the main hub there are connecters so it is also powered like the base. The base is also perfect for keeping all your usb drives. No complaints :)
#Powered Expansion (2009-01-30) I have this item attached to my imac and it gives me the ability to attach both power hungry portable hard disks and pen drives. If you have a laptop the silver top section can be removed and used to expand the few usb ports you have. I find it ideal because I have various usb items that need to be powered through the usb port. The belkin attaches to to the mains and is connect to the pc / mac, and it brings the ports from the back to the front. Though you are still limited to the single speed of a usb port for all your attachments. I have a usb freevi...
