#Not as expected (2009-06-17) This is NOT NOT NOT an official Apple iPod connector, I was dubious about the other comments here saying it was not official as the photo shows a connector with all the official markings but the one that came in the post did NOT look like the one in the photo. The title and photo of this product should be changed. It works though.

#Very disappointing (2009-05-26) Having ordered and received a package from Memory Capital I realised it was the wrong product and sent it back to the return address (box no on package) requesting the correct product but have heard or received nothing since. Very very disappointing. I then checked Amazon s website regarding returns and amazon have no policy in place with this company. # Original (2009-02-03) Please be careful - Don t make the same mistake I did by not buying a GENUINE Apple Mac iPod USB 2. 0 connector. I bought an Original connector to fit to my new USB iPod Car stereo and had constant disconnections from the word go. Through a process of elimination ie. iPod software updates, iTunes software updates and ripping my dashboard apart to replace the Original cable with the one I bought with my ipod I solved the problem. If you want USB iTunes through your iPod enabled Car stereo only use genuine parts !

#I d go to the apple store instead (2009-01-29) I bought 3 of these. One was perfect. One made my iPhone go berserk. It kept switching in and out of charge mode, buzzing like crazy. Then I had to really struggle to get the cable out of the phone. I thought I was going to damage the phone. Quite worrying. I ll stick with the one that works, but I ll go to the Apple store if I need to buy another.

#Not a good cable (2009-05-30) The supplied cable is no good. I had planned using it with my Ipod, to plug it in my car. It doesn t work as expected. My wife had to hold the cable and keep on adjusting it on the ipod to make it work. Only one audio channel (left or right) work on this cable most of the time. I should have bought a more expensive one.

I chanced it given the low cost and the fact that I was buying another item at the same time. #Exactly what I wanted (2009-06-18) Bought this for my daughters Sony NWZS639 Mp3 player. Had been looking at USB charging adaptors but none had the correct voltage needed for charging a Sony MP3 player, and if bought would have been an absolute waste of money. Although the description does not state support for an NWZS639, I can confirm that it does indeed work for the S series player. The UK model 3 pins do not fold away, it s the US/Euro models that do that. Works a treat, what more could you want.
