#Great value for money (2009-07-03) I am very glad having this bag. It has all necessary features and sections. It is light and strong.
#Love it (2009-06-29) Brilliant. Nice long strap goes across well built people. Plus carry handle for lifting out of car. Loads of space - I dont carry extra lenses so can use the extra space for me spare glasses case. Pocket for phone, batteries etc. All the pockets are easy to get to so nothing gets lost, and I dont have to hunt around for anything. Only problem is. . . . there is so much space I tend to put loads in it and it gets heavy!
#Lowepro Rezo 160 Shoulder bag (2009-06-22) Good little easily portable bag. Fits Nikon D60 with kit lens attached. Room for one other lens eg 18-105mm. My compact camera (or D60 manual) also fits in the front pocket. If you ve not got a spare lens, there s room for a spare battery, charger, cable, mememory card etc.
#Lowepro Rezo 160 Shoulder Bag (2009-06-14) I bought this for my recent hols in Spain, it soon became invaluable, i had my DSLR, a second lense and a compact camera, enough for all occasions, excellent bag.
#Small and stylish protection for your digital SLR (2009-05-27) This is a well-designed small digital SLR bag, made with the usual impeccable quality we ve come to expect from Lowepro. I am using it with my EOS 1000D with the 18-55 kit lens attached, and the 55-250 zoom alongside and it fits really well. The front flap only covers an accessory pocket (complete with mesh/elasticated compartments) rather than opening the main compartment itself, which unzips from the back which means you can get easy access to your kit when you are wearing the bag. There is a carry handle on the top...

#Excellent little lens (2009-06-22) I have had this lens for a few months now and use with a 450D. I ve been using it as a general walk about lens and got some absolutly wonderful results with it. The slight telephoto effect means you do have to move about rather a lot, however I ve found this makes me think a great deal more about the actual composition of the pictures, giving better overall results. The f 1. 8 means you can take pictures inside without a flash which gives a much more natural light and throws the rest of the image into soft focus. I ve blown many pictures up on...
#Can t compare with my kit lens (2009-06-17) I bought this lens mainly for indoor shooting with no flash on my EOS 50D. I thought the wide aperture would make this possible but I still had to up the ISO to 1000 and above to get a decently fast shutter speed even at f1/8. The lack of IS added to my dilemma. Also at this wide aperture, the focus is extremely shallow and I was not even able to focus a subject completely, only a section of it. The autofocus was about the only impressive feature as this worked well even in low light. The 50D s peripheral illumination correction syst...
#Just buy it! (2009-06-06) Had this lens for just 1 week so far. Haven t failed to be impressed with it in every way. As many have said, it s build quality isn t great, but what do you expect for the price. However the results are just fab. Buy it!
#You have Canon DSLR? Why don t you have this lens yet? (2009-05-24) Now, all of my Canon owning friends have this lens, and it is the favorite lens for almost all of them. Expect of course for those few who can afford L-series lenses, but comparing this to an L-series lens isn t fair anyway. It is very fast with f/1. 8. And for the money it is the fastest good quality lens you can get. Canon s next prime lens with faster aperture of f/1. 4 costs about four times as much. Yes it is faster and USM, but you would expect it to be with that price tag. Obviously this isn t a cover all s...
#Prime Lens, 50mm (2009-05-18) Good glass, fair price for lens. A prime lens make users think and look for using other ways to make images with a fast and fixed length lens, this improves users skill. This lens f/1. 8 av gives excelent performance and can be used in or out of doors with good results. The price for f/1. 4 and f/1. 2 primes is high, and this Canon lens will be welcomed in lens bag, both for price and performence.

#A Perky Panasonic (2009-06-08) This is a great little camera, small enough and light enough to slip in my pocket. Unlike many of its ilk it allows the user some control, with A (Aperture Priority), S (Shutter Priority) and M (manual) in addition to the Scene modes. The fact that it can shoot widescreen video is a plus. The controls are a little small for those with big hands. As with most cameras at this price point the LCD is difficult to read in bright sunshine. The internal flash unit is also a little underpowered. It is fine for pictures in your living room but not for p...

#excellent lens for the price (2009-06-12) This really is a great lens for the price. As an enthusiastic amatuer looking for something to compliment his 18-55mm this is the perfect add on. I find myself constantly shifting between the two lenses to get the right shot which is great because it means I can capture exactly what I want even if the subject is distant. Also with such a long range lens the IS function is a big help in getting rid of shake. Best of all though is the price - only £200. Sure there are better lenses offering similar range but nothing I could find for my 450D...
#Doesn t work on some Canon Digital cameras (2009-05-19) I bought this for my Canon 10d - Tried it and it doesn t fit. I thought the for selected digital cameras meant for Canon cameras. After trawling the internet I found this:The EF-S 55-250IS is designed for use only with small (APS-C) sensor Canon cameras introduced after the Digital Rebel. It will not physically mount on cameras with larger sensors (EOS 5D, EOS 1D(s) series) and it will not mount on early APS-C DSLRs such as the EOS D30, D60 and 10D. It cannot be used with any Canon or 3rd party TC, nor can it be used wit...
#Better than I thought (2009-05-11) Have had the lens for a couple of weeks now and it s been everywhere with me. The quality of the images is superb and the Image Stabiliser really makes up for the extra 50mm you might get on a similar lens. You really can get very nice close up shots without a tripod. When you manipulate images on screen the clarity means you can get in even closer. Anyone who has bought a decent SLR (Canon EOS or similar) and has just got the standard 18-55mm lens really must consider getting this as it makes better use of the camera.
#Excellent value with amazing pictures (2009-05-10) After 6 months with my canon 400d I bought this lens after seeing all the good reviews said about this product , and they were right ! I recently went on a ski holiday and the lens really helped me capture close up shots of skiiers while I was far away on the chair lifts. The Image Stabalisation was a life saver as when fully zoomed in you got horrible camera shake, however when turned on the image floated nicely in from of you, perfect for a good shot. The sharpness of the lens also is a good improvement on the standard kit lens , I...
#I am an amateur but ..... (2009-04-22) I just love using this lense. The pictures are fantastic. Sorry I m not a techie so can t tell you why they are so good - they just are.

#buy it buy it buy it! (2009-06-13) This is my 5th digital Canon EOS and by far my favorite, AND the cheapest, huh? how does that make sence? technology eh ! . . . The clarity and fantastic simpleness to use this camera is outstanding, and I would urge anyone with a few quid that s umming and ahhing on which camera to buy then go for this one . . . AND it s got a video bit to it !!! what is going on? the next model will probably have a microwave in the back to make a healthy snack whilst getting the images printed ! Not only that but the ISO goes up to 32,000 . . . that s almost nigh...
#canon 500d (2009-06-09) i upgrade to this from a 400d which is also a good camera. the 500d has a live view mode which i sometimes find useful, it also has a very good hd facility got mine in time to take it on holiday to malta, cracking photos wouldnt hesitate to recommend.
#Great Camera for moving up from digital compact - Video also. (2009-06-08) I recently bought Canon EOS 500d - I looked also at the new Sony alpha 380 (video clip review WhatCamera)among others. I had read as many reviews as I could but what helped me most was the video clips by Whatcamera magazine and a YouTube video clip by a IIlvy Njiokiktjen who won the EOS 500d camera in Canon contest young new talent 2008. Although some people say the camera case feels a bit plastic, I disagree and feel that overall the build quality is v. good and on a par with other manuafacturers. I think so...
#Brilliant latest addition, but with a few reservations (2009-04-26) Having just got this latest addition to the Canon EOS range (to replace my ageing 10D), I just had to try it out, of course! This is a welcome upgrade, with the Digic 4 processor living up to expectations. Using the Custom Function7 (Auto Lighting Optimiser), you ll be hard-pressed to come up with a badly-exposed pic! However, remember that it only works for under-exposed photos, and over-exposed still remain so - there s never been much you can do about a bright sky with an otherwise dull landscape, unless you take m...
