#Sony NP-FH50 Camcorder Battery (2009-06-11) I bought this for my Sony DCR-SR37E as i wanted a spare battery with a little extra capacity than with the one supplied. I also wanted to buy a genuine Sony product as i have heard they work and last a lot better than other makes. Fully charged this battery lasted over 2 hours, recording in high quality, and came in very useful on a holiday i recently took to Florida. I would recommend this to anyone, well worth the price.

#Couldn t live without this (2009-04-17) I am a belt and braces type of person. The last camera I purchased I thought rechargeable AA batteries would give me the security that I need. So when I got my new Canon IXUS 950 I felt the need for some battery security. This battery does just that. #Good spare battery (2009-01-17) I bought this as a spare battery for my Canon IXUS 860 IS. It is exactly the same battery that the camera comes with and works just as well - in fact I have now forgotten which battery is which! It removes all problems of your battery running out in the middle of the day. Small and portable, it comes with a cap to protect the terminals. I guess the only improvement would be a little bag or container to keep it in, but this is not a real problem for me.

#Necessary spare battery (2009-01-11) Like C John s review I bought this battery as a spare for my Canon IXUS 960 IS. I tried third party compatible batteries before and they don t last, that is why I paid a little more for a Canon battery. Perhaps it is the Image Stabilisation on the camera that uses up the battery but I often use the spare one before I have filled up the 4GB memory card. Get one before you run out of power on a day out. Very good value on amazon.

(2007-08-17) I d hunted around other sites for a spare battery to carry with my Ixus 40 s issued one (having recently been kicking myself for not doing this sooner in a wedding where the battery ran out half way through!). This battery is exactly as shown in the photo - the spec matchs my Ixus 40 s issued battery to the tee. Other sites had them shipped from Japan or were cheap imitation batteries which couldn t guarantee compatibility with the Canon charger. Worth every penny.

(2008-06-19) When I bought the EOS350D I also bought a Jessops spare battery - out of the two, the canon has completely died on me (no power, the recharger goes green after 20 seconds, but there is still no power) - the jessops one is still going strong. At 3 times the cost - I ll be buying a compatible one. p. s. the camera is fantastic.

#A good battery but a little bit expensive and on the low capacity side (2008-04-01) With digital two batteries is a minimum. It is a decent battery (do not buy a generic one) but Canon could have provided a more powerful one for the 400D right away, considering the premium you need to pay for an original one.

Was not expecting the order till Monday 24th Sept 2007 but what a result having it early so that I can now happily charge up the new battery and take lots of pics with my new Canon EOS 400D camera.
