All the motivation you need when running, for instance on the way back from a run and you have clocked up 3. 5 miles it spurs you on to run 4 miles rather than finishing your run. Downloading my training sessions, I could visually see where I slow, where I was fast and which average speed I could maintain. #Excellent! (2009-06-08) Does everything that it is supposed to. Read the reviews before buying this product and have not been disappointed. The hardest thing was to attach the lanyard! Apart from that, it was all set and ready to go within minutes. Transferring routes to/from Memory Map is easy, the only thing you need to do is to make sure that waypoints are deleted as well as routes (memory limited). Highly recommended.

E it was not as simple as using a map and compass to ascertain one s position I am sure that for the technically adept this does not present a major problem but It would seem that a dummy run would be advisable before embarking on a major expedition.
