#Good build quality, poor sound quality (2009-06-24) These look and feel great, they are light and the removable microphone is nice, however I found the sound to have a definite crackle and the sound to be quite flat. I m returning mine to Amazon and going to get the Sandberg USB headset instead.
#excellent headset (2009-06-10) Very good sound quality and excellent microphone, crystal clear is what I have been told several times when online. Very reasonable price for what you get. I would also like to point out that I have a largish head and this headset still fits very well, I almost didn t buy them because of this, DON T BE PUT OFF!! And as I say I am very satisfied.
#Best to date (2009-06-06) Have owned this product for just over 2 years now and i wouldn t buy another headset, the sound quality from these are exceptional, to put not-so-finer point on it, it s like orgasms for your ears. I use mine prodimenantly for gaming but also for listening to music, from a gaming aspect the sound is good and solid and even with a stock (Realtek AC97) sound card the sound is still rich and pure. From a music perspective again the quality is amazing and with this headset in particular the bass can really be felt, not just heard but you can feel it and to me tha...
#Fantastic! (2009-06-04) Had this product for a couple months now and primarily use it for gaming and music. The ear cups are compfortable for me (im 18) but when my Dad tried them on they werent as compfortable as his Sonys he said. Like other reviews of the product state, they have a very good bass!Whilst i have not heard what the microphone sounds like for myself, others i game with tell me its clear and crisp (spoilt only by my northern accent apparently). HOWEVER, if you have the extra cash and USB port, I would suggest going for the more expensive and improved version of this hea...
#Amazing sound quality, not as comfortable as could be (2009-05-19) Just got this today and have used for about 12 hours now, and I am impressed. For £30 I was not expecting something with such high quality audio - my previous pair of headphones which these are replacing were roughly the same price and really uncomfortable. The sound quality on these is miles better - much richer and much much deeper. The detachable microphone was a great idea as you dont always want a microphone sticking round in your face (ie when listening to music etc. ). Likewise the on-cord volume control th...

#Cheap, easy way to add sound to an old PC (2009-04-18) I purchased this to add sound to an old office PC that didn t have a sound card. I had given the PC to a friend who is not PC savvy, so wanted an easy installation. All installed easily, but still no sound! Eventually discovered that the Headphone and Mic symbols had been transposed.
#Brilliant (2009-03-04) I was having several problems with the onboard sound of my computer. No mixer devices no audio on websites and media player said something else was using the sound device, but I was getting sound on a couple of games which was the odd thing. Well this device fixed all my problems and I now get perfect sound coming through, it may even sound better (but that could be because ive missed it)
#does what it says on the tin (2008-09-26) I bought this sound card as my new HP pavilion laptop seems to have a terrible microphone. No matter what i tried (including plugging an external mic into the laptop) It was either to quiet or it distorted. After trying the stores demo model with the same results i wondered if an external soundcard would fix my issue. This Lindy audio adapter was so cheap it was worth a try and I thought if it solves the issue i ll then look for decent sound card later (no point spending out on an expensive one for an experiment i thought)But the Lindy does a...
#Not sure about this one (2008-07-14) A neat unit, but despite trying a different driver and tweaking all the volume controls I could find, I failed to get this unit working satisfactorily. Maybe I was just unlucky, but with Windows XP I could not get my microphone working, and the sound volume remained low. The sound and mike work OK in a different set-up, so this leaves me with a question mark over the USB adapter.
#A good quality piece of kit (2008-07-02) After reading up on improving the accuracy when using Dragon naturally speaking, I found out that USB audio often gives much better results than soundcards onboard motherboards (unless the soundcard happens to be a high-end one). I can happily report that by changing from my motherboard s onboard Realtek soundcard to using this USB one the quality score from Dragon naturally speaking (effectively the signal to noise ratio) has improved from not more than 15, to a reliable 20. Without really doing controled testing, it does seem that Dragon is ...

#Crackles occasionally, not good enough (2009-06-30) If the sound card worked well it would be a very good sound card. The effects sound good, you get a remote and it s easy to set up. Unfortunately there are occasional crackling sounds that last a few seconds. This will happen every ten minutes or so. I personally find it very annoying. Creative know about this but they ve placed the blame on nvidia motherboards which i don t actually have. This seems to be a recurring problem with all creative sound cards. They probably work fine on some computer but there are many that they...
#X-Fi (2009-05-25) Purchased primarily to enable recodings from vinyl. A very good quality card. Vary pleased with it. Great too for films (Dell 1720)
#Sound Blaster X-Fi (2009-05-06) Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5. 1 What a excellent peice of KIT. Using it for a Disco and the sound quality is superb.
#DOES WORK WITH VISTA!! (2009-05-04) Contrary to other reviews,i have used this card on multiple laptops and pcs with Vista and it DOES work. In fact it works brilliantely, there is no lag and the quality of the sound is greately improved. A must buy for all laptop owners who want to improve the quality of music, games and video!
#Well chuffed ! (2009-04-23) Great product, very sleek and stylish. Had external Creative Soundbaster Audigy 2 NX until i poured apple juice over it - Doh ! which was very similar. However when i tried to use it with Vista ran into problems as no support for Audigy 2 . The beauty of the X-FI is that i have used it with both Vista and XP and works flawlessly with both operating systems . Joy to install and sat on desktop makes it so easy to connect or disconnect from external sources . Use mine in front room ,connected into my Amp so i can play films in my pc ,signal sent via pro...

#No fuss or hassle. (2009-05-10) The sound card arrived quickly and as stated, OEM version with no frills. It is I suppose quite old now but it still provides good quality and value. It is easy to fit and setup with the software included but it benefits from updated drivers on the web. I would not base a recording studio on it but it is much better than on board audio and I am very happy with it.
#Hey look, my computer works properly now. (2009-03-21) I put this in, and then the video started to work. Is there anything technology can t do?
#Creative Couldn t Care Less (2008-12-05) Beware of Creative customer care. I recently contacted them with a problem with my MP3 player. Basically, although it worked fine and was fully loaded with my whole music and video collection, I couldn t add any further content to it. Customer care took me through a diagnostic process which ended with a instructions to completely reformat the machine, stripping it of its operating system. I e-mailed them to say I was nervous of doing this, but they insisted it was necessary and that if it didn t work I d be invited to send the unit in for re...
#Brilliant! Great value for money! (2008-05-18) Was looking to upgrade my sound quality, but not wanting to pay any huge amount of money. After reading the reviews on this card i decided to go for it. And wow! What a great sound card for such a small price! The one thing i do have to warn people of, if you use crappy speakers with this sounds card, the sound quality is awfull, as the card tries to send out sound quality and pitches that the speakers cant manage. Make sure you have a good sound system to go with it. The combination that Amazon recommend it s great one, and just happen...
#Awesome (2008-03-16) Hi definition !!sounds awesome on hi def headphones ,especially on the newer games with good sound like crysis, frontlines . A must upgrade for onboard sound card users

#worked a treat (2009-05-20) for price exellent, and got the sound working again after my built insound card went down on the motherboard. cheap and cheerful does the trick. bonus was installed first time automatically
#installing new Sound Card (2009-04-26) Having found the need to replace my sound card. I found the delivery service excellent, the instructions fairly comprehensive - even for a dummy like me. Well pleased with result.
#does what it says (2009-02-26) Easy to install, easy to set up, did just what it said. Good value for a simple sound card.
#Second Sound Card (2009-02-19) I needed a second sound card in my PC to handle two programs symultaneously. The TRUST SC-5100 5. 1 SURROUND SOUND CARD slotted right in and the CD loaded the driver. Bingo! Two sound cards working perfectly.
