#Great Device (2009-04-19) I really like this DVD player - it is a little noiser than some when first reading the disc, but after a few seconds it s fine. The picture is bright and sharp, the sound is good. It plays DivX very well, and it works well in the car. It reads films from the USB stick. We re very happy with it.

#Great little player! (2009-05-30) Bought this compact player to fit in a narrow space. I ve seen some reviews commenting that it s noisy, and yes it was a little noisy while playing a particular DVD but then not on any others we ve tried, so overall it s quiet, and it is sitting on the thin metal top of a freesat receiver which if anything is likely to highlight any noise. It s playing through a 42 hd plasma tv, and the picture and sound quality is fine. Considering the price of this compact player, and that it does what it says on the tin, I m happy.

#Hyundai Portable DVD Player (2009-03-13) Purchased this for travel entertainment and also as a DVD player in the place we were visiting. It did everything asked of it. My only issues relate to the fact that the connector leads could have been a little longer and the spring shutting the player can cause it to alarmingly slam together. Suitably placed finger stops the slam and doesn t hurt but a soft plastic defender would have been a good addition.

#You Can Do Better (2009-06-24) After owning a Panasonic LS90 multi-region portable player I m afraid the Hyundai just doesn t shape up. It has a less than impressive battery life and gives you no warning before plunging itself in darkness. The biggest problem I have with this product is if you switch it off, it automatically resets itself to start from the very beginning. #Good product but returned due to fault. (2008-12-29) Ordered product for Xmas and initially good with great picture, good sound and easy to use. However fault developed where picture went dark and you had to fiddle with screen to get picture back. Seems like a loose connection and something you need to be aware of as the screen can be moved in all directions which is good but needs to be resiliant. Have sent back and waiting for replacement. Worth another go as picture size good and daughter loves it!
