#Love the Controller (2009-06-09) I have a weak network signal where I have sited the player and so am having to try to reposition my router to compensate but, when the signal is there, all works fine. The Controller is great and I love the fact it works with my old Squeezebox kit as well. The music synching is a great feature.
#Router and receiver ignore each other! (2009-05-19) Like another reviewer, I m very jealous of those who have had no problems with this product. The controller connected just fine, but the receiver refuses to connect to my wireless network. After days of tinkering with settings and learning more about DHCP servers than I care to know, I ve conceded defeat. I suspect the problem is partly my router (a BT HomeHub v1. 5) and partly the Squeezebox system itself. Either way, my Duet is winging its way back to Amazon. It does look like a fantastic product and much more suitable f...
#Excellent- Don t be put off (2009-05-19) I ve had this product for a week and have had no major problems. Set up was beyond easy- It did it itself. I have spent the last few days listening to stuff I d forgotten I had. It really does free your music. Internet connection makes the squeezebox great fun- I really enjoy listening to Last FM and not being tied to my PC. I have also discovered a new pass time. Its called surfing internet radio in other rooms(I m not sure how much longer my wife will tolerate my flipping between continents at the breakfast table. . . )I have had a cou...
#Squeezebox duet (2009-05-18) Excellent product works well with a strong wifi hub - some hubs better than others.
#Super Duet (2009-05-09) After reading some internet forums I was expecting possible problems setting up this product. BUT. . . I just followed the instructions and had it working in lessthan 20 minutes. I have had one or two slight hiccups with it since but they have all been due to minor problems with the computer that serves the Duet, not the Duet. I use the digital output to feed an off-board D/A converter and I think the sound quality, played through an audiophile hi-fi set up is slightly better than the previous CD player used as a transportfor for the converter. Over all,excellent....

#SLA5520 (2008-10-04) Philips SLA 5520 Home Audio SystemI have owned one of these units for over two years. It has been really great. Sadly the thing has stopped working due to an electronic fault. I am in the market to buy another. It has always worked faultlesssly and without failure of any type. The only problem is the display, which does not provide enough information. Searching for a particular track is difficult.
#Rubbish (2007-11-30) This device is difficult to use. Searching for tracks is painful because the text entry is worse than a mobile phone. Browsing for tracks is dreadful:1. Scroll to the artist you want. 2. Select. 3. When the wrong artist is displayed go back. The list will be now be at the artist just displayed. 4. Go to step 1I wouldn t give this away
#Quirky but good value (2007-11-24) Not perfect - but for the price a nice piece of kit. I was looking for a decice to free my music collection from my computer but without spending a fortune. The SLA5520 fit the bill perfectly, works well and looks good sitting on top of my hifi. The software is a bit quirky and it can be slow searching for the track or album you want but in general I would recommend it. As other have said - don t bother using the Philips software.
#Excellent - and it can do everything it says - but setup might not be easy! (2007-01-06) I got my Streamium over Christmas and as I write this (Jan 6th), it is finally working - streaming Classic FM from the web and my CDs from my desktop. OK. Here s the basic stuff. If you want to listen to internet radio, you can do it from your PC or laptop. If you have a wireless network, however, the Streamium lets you stream the radio (or your own CD collection) through your network. It also looks cool (though it needs to be put on a very stable surface because it is tall, narrow and very ...
#Love it, but .... (2006-11-28) I appreciate the hint from the previous review. Please do not bother loading Philips Media Manager, that comes with the product, onto your PC, it is buggy and slow. Use Windows Media Player 11 which has built in media sharing and is far easier to manage your music and play lists.

Dual cassette deckDimensions (WxDxH): 43 cm x 29 cm x 12 cmWeight: 4 kgSound Output Mode: StereoCassette System: Dual cassette deck - full-logic - Dolby B, Dolby C - 30 - 19000 Hz

#Not a good cassette deck for me (2008-12-01) This unit is not a good cassette deck i had to send it back many times and they did not fix it. The first problem is it would freeze up when you would try and do lots of rewinding or fast forwarding. Next problem is on one i had the head actually snap off in the first deck. It also wrecked one tape. I have a sony 300ES cassette deck that makes this one look like a piece of junk.
#cassette Decks (2008-08-14) A great product at a reasonable price. As an entry level deck it is superb. Does everything I want, records from any source, turntable, CD player or tuner, as well as recording (dubbing) from deck A to B, and all via standard phono leads (supplied). Make sure you read the addendum to the manual as there is a different regime for dubbing, NOT involving the Record button, to recording everything else. OK, so you can t record on deck A but, seriously, who would need to record on two decks at the same time, unless you are a real pro. , in which case you ne...
#Clunky, but good value (2004-03-01) As a budget cassette deck this does the job, the sound it produces is as you would expect from Sony and it records well in either automatic or manual mode. This, though, is a functional rather than top of the range hi-fi deck: If you want to record on both decks and have a better range of adjustments the next model up ought to be considered. It does just what I want, and no more - the ability to record from radio, CD or disc and, occassionally, to dub from tape to tape. My only reasons for not giving 5 stars was because the Dolby switch appears, an...

Intempo s reputation for innovative music technology just took one giant leap forward with the launch of Rebel, a revolutionary FM radio. Tuned into a station, Rebel records up to 50 of the most played music tracks, automatically cutting out the DJ chat and the ads, letting you download your favourite songs onto your iPod, MP3 or mobile phone, free of charge.

#Amazing! (2008-07-02) Have been using this for a week now and it s brilliant! I started on Kiss FM first and left it playing for about 24 hours (well when I woke up I put it on with the volume right down and I turned it off the morning after), all the tracks that I was thinking of buying saved on to the Rebel! I decided to put them on my pc after as I save everything on there as well as my iPod, this was really easy, I just used the USB cable off of my printer (I think you can pick these up really cheap if you haven t got one) and away I went. It s fantastic, would recommend to anyone...
