Simple to configure and you ll be up and running within 30 minutes maximum. I tried to get this through Sony and they let me down, Amazon delivered pre-10 the next day (Sat) and not regretted it since.

#Great until it stopped working.... (2009-06-04) All worked great until Push Power Protect warning appeared on screen. Attempted reset and cold reset procedure lots of time (as instructed by manual, Sony helpline and local Sony shop) with no joy. Therefore suspect interal fault with sub woofer unit and am in the process of learning how the Amazon returns system works. I normally buy Panasonic and this experience has not improved by opinion of Sony kit. I will however order another as it sounded great and the small surround sound speakers are a winner.

They were £199, but went up to £227 this week. still a good price. I have paired them with an Onkyo receiver and Sony PS3 and Virgin +.

#Sony Speakers (2009-02-01) These speakers were bought for my desktop pc at work. I need to listen to voice clips and watch teaching dvd s. They are just fine for that undemanding work. Don t buy them if you want high quality sound reproduction. For that, you need to pay a lot more money. These speakers are beautifully finished, worked perfectly out of the box with no set up and will give you good sound quality as long as you don t crank the volume up to the maximum. All in a very good buy at this price.

#Connected Essentials HPL200 Wireless Speakers (2009-04-02) These speakers do exactly what they say on the box! They give adequate wall to wall sound from the computer which streams radio from the internet and music from the collection I have on the computer or via my MP3 player. They are not perfect or brilliant, so if you want perfection pay more and get something else. For the price and the size they are fine for casual listening.

#Worth every penny (2008-08-26) Any speakers that works as well as these when you are walking around the house with it in your hand has to be good. The box included phono leads ,large headphone to 3. 5mm adaptor headphone plug , everything included. #Great but doe shave it s faults... (2009-05-16) First up I ll talk about the sound quality. It s fantastic. Watching sports or movies in Dolby Digital and the sound is crystal clear. To get a better 5. 1 effect I d recommend having the speaker off the ground (mine s on 4 speaker spikes, or if your tv is wall mounted then this can be too) as this helps project the sound behind you. #Suprisingly good (2009-05-04) You cannot expect the same result as a full 5,1 surround system, but the level of quality is suprisingly good. Really good feedback from the subs in it. The size and weight leave you in no doubt that it produces a loud and powerful performance. #sadly not making the grade for me (2009-01-19) I have this connected to a brand new Sony LCD, Sony DVD player and Sky+ and I must say I find the sound dull, muffled and quite poor. There is no tone adjustment bass and treble are adjusted by volume of speakers and the various effects for surround sound are just varying amounts of re-verb and echo.
