#Definitely the best case option! (2009-06-29) I can only add my own recommendation to those already here - if you want to protect your reader this is a truly excellent choice. The case is well made, an extremely snug fit and gives a real sense of being the proper job . Just a couple of points - I would recommend attaching a wrist strap to the reader (there is an attachment point) just in case you tend to nod off while reading. The cover that comes with the PRS 550 connects to the ebook by a plastic strip, which clasps the ends of the ebook and clips into the cover at two points. I may be clumsier than most people, but I drop my ebook from time to time. The first cover failed when the plastic clip broke at one end, where it clasps the book. #Excellent leather - terrible clip. (2009-05-04) The leather of this cover is excellent, but there defintely a few bad points. 1. This cover does provide more protection for the reader than the basic cover but. . . 2. . . . because the clip is so flimsy the extra protection (wider gap around the edges) will certainly lead to the clip breaking in the first few days. 3. It has come in handy not just when I want to read with out disturbing my husband but also on plane tripsThe light is very bright and the battery life is excellent.
