#Nice idea, shame about the programming. (2009-06-01) I had trouble with the driver CD. When I tried to install, it said that the driver files could not be found. I discovered that the fault was the installer looking for a file called SD-54 while the actual file it needed was named SD54 without the hyphen. This is a schoolboy error that should have been rooted out at the very first stage, and a computer-illiterate person would never have been able to solve it. As it happens, my Pocket PC (HP HX2110) doesn t accept SDIO cards so I was unable to use it further.

It s easy to install and very lightweight on system resources and battery power. Most encryption levels are allowed but I think WPA2 is only supported on Windows CE 5 and above. If using Windows CE 4 make sure you have the most up to date version (4. 2 I think) to ensure connection through wifi. All in all a great product.

#Gets the Job Done, but SLOWLY! (2008-03-04) The first charge is always slow, but I expected subseqent charges to be faster, especially with a wall socket like this. Archos say their own wall charger/docking station takes 3-5 hours to charge from empty. This Nomadic one can be left running for hours and hours and still no full charge! It feels like USB in a plug bascially (maybe the way it transforms the power?)I DO like the universal heads, so a good, small charger for when your on holiday, but expect to keep it charging through the night!
