#Great [roduct, great service (2009-06-14) Purchased from Mymemory. Had initial problem with delivery (not their fault) and they sorted it out brilliantly. Great little device and superb customer service.
#Power Monkey -compatabilty (2009-06-12) I was a little disappointed with this item as its quite clearly states it is a Universal Charger for all mobiles etc - I accepted that it would be necessary to buy extra adaptors depending which devices you wanted to charge - but the Power Monkey site gives mis-leading information - I wanted to use it for a Sharp mobile and a TomTom sat nav - neither of the adaptors suggested in their compatabilty chart fitted - I did get it to work with the TomTom by using the included USB adaptor but had to use it in conjunction with the TomTom s own cabl...
#useful for a long weekend (2009-06-10) this will charge your ipod classic or i-phone perhaps a couple of times before you will need to recharge it from the mains, so it s very useful to keep as a one-off emergency backup for ipod and mobiles where you haven t got access to mains electricity or a car charger. It ll usually keep me going for about 4 days maximum (non-continuous use assuming you need to recharge a phone/mp3 player every 2-3 days) without access to mains electricity. It s certainly not the one answer for all your power needs over a prolonged time. But if you bear this ...
#Power in the palm of your hand (2009-05-28) I have to admit being sceptical, however, this has to be one of the most useful products EVER. I ve had one since March, and it really makes a difference. Days out, camping in the middle of fields, on the train. Wherever you go, there is now no need to worry about running out of juice. One charge of my phone keeps it going for the day. Plus, there are additional tips available that can be used for game consoles etc. Get one in time for your holidays, and you won t regret it. (I should be paid for this recommendation!!)
#What a good idea (2009-05-23) When my wife and I travel, we have 3 mobile phones and a blackberry!!, what a space saving item this is.

#Waste of Money (2009-06-20) Followed instructions exactly. It does transmit to the FM in my car but the sound quality is atrocious: vocals o. k. bass barely recognisable fuzz, treble instruments hissy. Belkin sugest that you don t raise your Mp3 Player volume by more than 50% - at this level, for me, you barely hear a thing. The player volume has to be maxxed out, You got it, why doncha run down your player battery fast - just for fun. All this with the transmitter less than 1 metre from tha aerial. Seems to work for some, for me, a complete waste of money
#Belkin Tunecast (2009-05-24) Excellent device, we can now watch a film on our laptop and play the sound through the vehicle radio. The sound on the laptop is not very good.
#bad design (2009-05-16) Worked fine with radio, easy to use. After a few months of use the wires got loose, the wires go into the transmitter at an angle so will always be weak in that area. now not working at all because wires too loose. On here to get a replacement.
#FM Transmitter (2009-04-27) It works well and was purchased as a gift. I have had one before and it works well.
#Rubbish (2009-03-29) Me and a friend bought this product at the same time, his lasted a week before breaking, mine a month. Total waste of money. It turns on/off when it feels like it!

Link to your PCFor use with the eTrex and EmapThis cable s all you need to make a powerful connection between your GPS and your PC. Create routes and waypoints on your PC and transfer them to your GPS. It also allows you to download map detail from MapSource CD-ROMs. Cable features a standard 9-pin D connector. Does not provide wiring for external power.

#Wrong Description (2009-05-28) I bought this item for a GPS72, which it does not fit. According to the product description the only Garmin GPS which it should not fit is the GEKO101. This seems to be a failure of Amazon administration. A part number would have helped. I don t use Amazon very much - this is part of the reason. The product link appeared like this:-Garmin PC interface cable (RS232 serial port connector) - not applicable to Geko 101
#It works, but .... (2009-05-02) Over £20 for a bit of wire is extortionate! Just because it has a unique connector.
#Does what it says at a cost. (2009-04-19) Does exactly what it s supposed to do and is pretty much a necessity for transfering data between GPS and computer. Given the exorbitant price though, it might at least have been designed to power the GPS unit from the serial port rather than running down the batteries. A previous review suggests buying the USB connector instead, but I bought both and found the latter conflicted (quite noisily) with my C-Media soundcard. Not bad as cables go, but way overpriced.
#Get a usb cable instead (2009-04-04) Don t buy this sort of cable unless your using an old PC with a serial port, otherwise you ll need to buy a serial to USB converter plug/cable as well which is more money and leads to miles of cables and connectors junking the place up. You can purchase a really neat cable on a popular auction site for less money which connects an Etrex directly to a USB port. Much neater.
#Problematic (2008-09-26) I had problems with my cable but in all honesty wasn t sure if it was this half (GPS TO SERIAL PORT) of the cable or the other half of the cable (USB TO SERIAL PORT) that was at fault. Downloading was hit and miss, sometimes it would work, other times it said it couldn t find the GPS. It even slipped out of its connection at the GPS end on several occasions. Wiggling the two halfs of the serial connectors together seemed to fix the problem each time the message appeared unable to find GPS , but I soon became very annoyed with this and decided to send both...
