#Very useful and strangely addictive (2010-08-25) I bought a satnav because my new partner can neither drive nor navigate (even when travelling north). After a considerable amount of research, I chose Garmin for the battery life (I often rent cars and there isn t always a power outlet these days) and ease of updating via the PC. #great satnav (2010-08-24) Only used once so far. Worked straight from the box. The sat nav worked beautifully. Quickly found a signal. Speaks the name of the roads which I found very helpful. Approaches to complicated motorway junctions are easy with the lane guide. Lots of features such as nearest supermarket, petrol station etc. My only problem so far has been that there is only one voice option (a female). There may be more but if so I haven t found them yet. Also there isn t a mains adapter which would be useful. However all in all a great sat nav at a very good price.

#Garmin Forerunner 305 (2010-08-23) I ve been using this bit of kit now for about 6 weeks on a daily bases. It is great! so easy to use. Gps signal very good, i found that i was still getting a signal in the house after 20 minutes. Up loading your data on to the computer is an added bonus.

#it s a great case what more do you want ? (2010-09-07) I bought this for a TOM TOM GO630, a model I hadn t seen before but was on sale at Comet(very cheap for the spec), so even though the model wasn t mentioned as fitting a GO630 I bought the case and it fits like a glove. The case has a nice hard cover to protect the screen when closed, a handy net pouch for the in car charger and it s fairly well padded and for [. . . ] you cannot go wrong. Save yourself almost £13 against the TOM TOM case and get one.

#TomTom Case (2010-09-04) A good case and it does the job but, I did not check it out and it is huge, nearly too big, but it does have room for some of the cabling as well so worth the money but do check it for size if you have limited storage space.

#Very useful tool (2010-07-20) As I only use my Tom Tom once or twice a week the battery never lasts and this mains charger is the answer. Just plug in the night before I need it and it s ready to go in the morning. It works fine and as it is about the same size as a phone charger you can take it with you, so no more blank screens and pushing the button every 5 minutes to see if it s charged yet!
