#almost but not quite (2009-06-15) The item arrived quickly and was well packaged, although it is not exactly as pictured. I believe the item shipped is the european version of the product and is blue rather than orange as shown. I will be trying the foreign tapes shortly and will update as necessary.

#Camcorder consumables (2009-05-28) Does what it says on the packet - flawlessly. Never had a problem with Sony MiniDV tapes, and now as cheap as chips!

#trust them! (2009-05-20) I just got the cassettes, I didn t try them yet but I ve used them a lot in the past and they are excellent quality. The reason I strongly recommend this site is that it s extremely cheaper than any store on the streets. . I ve seen miniDVs 5packs for over £20!! so if you re going for value/money, here the place!

#Ultimate DV tapes and handy box! (2009-04-24) I have been using these Sony DV tapes since 2002 and have a few hundred off, of varying batches and quanties from years to year. There has never been a problem with any tape and the quality is very high, in picture and sound. The good thing about these 5 off is that they come in one box, individually wrapped and so pack in your suitcase or rucksack well. As other have advised, stick to the same brand in your camcorder and stock up before you depart on your holiday as they are expensive abroad. RECOMMENDED DV tapes.

#Excellent Value (2009-07-03) Reasonable quality tapes, excellent price. Have had no problems with these tapes and at the price can be used once and saved.

#Great value (2009-07-01) I m a film-maker, and need a hefty number of tapes regularly. These are the most affordable bunch I have found. Given that I capture HD footage, I would have expected these to suffer from drop-outs, but after using more than a dozen of these, I can confidently say that they are very reliable. Perhaps not as reliable as HD tapes (I havent used those), but reliable enough for independent film-making, and enough to make me continue buying this pack when I run out of tapes. NOTE: Some-times the 5-pack version can be cheaper due to changes in the shipping costs.

#Sony 10 Pack 60 min DVM Premium tapes. (2009-06-06) Product delivered timeously, and in good condition. Tapes performed as expected in both a Cannon MV650i and a Sony DCR HC62. No problems.

#Sony Premium MiniDV Tape (2009-05-26) I ve been using Sony Premium tapes for 12 years now and when you consider that each tiny matchbox contains 28 finely toleranced, beautifully manufactured and assembled components all for about a pound (anout a third the price of a sandwich), it puts the technology into perspective. The tape records HDV beautifully and they can be re-used time and time again. I ve nothing but praise for them. tom.

#Big mistake buying this (2009-06-16) This cable is very poor quality. my p3s did not work with this cable. It went straight to the bin. I think i was lured too easily due to the price. Spend a few quid more andbuy a cable which will have better cored wire

#Works brilliantly (2009-06-15) I use these cables with a very modern TV and DVD recorder combo with HDMI up scaling (June 09) and the picture quality is excellent. For the money you simply cannot go wrong. If, for some strange reason, you didnt like them you could go straight back out and buy expensive ones but I would try these first. Cool gold connections and downright good value!

#Cheap and cheerful (2009-06-06) It works fine and is cheap - remember it is only 1 metre long though so if that TV is mounted on the wall it probably won t reach your PS3. It was delivered very quickly. Why go to a shop and pay £10 for it? Why only four stars - it s a cable and it s a short cable!!!

#Poor Quality (2009-05-26) I was hopeful when I purchased the cable but sadly was disappointed by their performance. The HDMI supplied with the DVD player was of a much higher quality. Would check reviews more closely next time and look to buy a brand name. Would have returned them but for what I paid it was not worth the effort.

#Excellent little lens (2009-06-22) I have had this lens for a few months now and use with a 450D. I ve been using it as a general walk about lens and got some absolutly wonderful results with it. The slight telephoto effect means you do have to move about rather a lot, however I ve found this makes me think a great deal more about the actual composition of the pictures, giving better overall results. #Can t compare with my kit lens (2009-06-17) I bought this lens mainly for indoor shooting with no flash on my EOS 50D. I thought the wide aperture would make this possible but I still had to up the ISO to 1000 and above to get a decently fast shutter speed even at f1/8. The lack of IS added to my dilemma. Also at this wide aperture, the focus is extremely shallow and I was not even able to focus a subject completely, only a section of it. A prime lens make users think and look for using other ways to make images with a fast and fixed length lens, this improves users skill. This lens f/1. 8 av gives excelent performance and can be used in or out of doors with good results.
