It was essential to have the telephone working in there with the minimum of delay and I wasn t looking forward to BT s charges for installing an extension. I needn t have worried - within a day I had the extender up and running with one of my old Panasonic DECT handsets. #Philips CD4451S/05 DECT cordless telephone with answer machine (2009-07-01) the product was well packed but not over packaged. it was simple to set up and is easy to use. although limited in ring tones it has a contrasting variety to choose from. it is compact and fits in the hand well. #Simple and fun (2009-03-25) This phone is simple to install and use. There is a pretty comprehensive instruction manual, but once you have mastered the menu button, the rest is easy. It has good sound, is comfortable to hold and use and I have been very impressed with it and with the features that come with it. Basically an excellent phone at a very reasonable price. The only thing I would say is that my phone came with a lead that fits US phone sockets, similar to a PC Modem line socket, so, you might need an adapter, which cost very little.

#Good headset but unreliable (2009-06-04) I have used headsets at work all day long over many years and been through a number of plantronic headsets. This particular model though comfortable has developed mic faults on two different headsets in less than 6 months. The last set only lasted 6 weeks before the mic stopped working! I think its probably a fault on the in-line switch which is pretty cheap looking for a supposedly premium device

#DISAPPOINTED BUYER (2008-08-27) The headset is fine insofar as it accurately captures sound - I m handicapped and need a headset for Dragon speech recognition software. But, the headphones hug/enclose the ears so that it s hard to hear oneself talk, and I don t like that. Apparently they were designed with gamers in mind. I find that the size settings on the headphones alter every time I put them on, which is a bit of a ******, I have only one good hand.

#Disappointed (2008-10-20) I can spend hours on the phone for work and holding a phone to my ear is not an option, so I decided I needed a small headset or earpiece. Being by Panasonic, the same as the DECT phone I use, I thought this would be an ideal partner. I was mistaken. The earpiece is all hard plastic, so it soon becomes uncomfortable in the ear.
