#Toshiba Hard Drive (2009-06-01) I bought the hard drive mainly to store school work and to backup files on my laptop, i was dissapointed when i recieved it as the hard drive came in a flimsy box and the usb cable they provided was about 10cm. Problems started to occur with the usb cable they provided. Every time the usb cable was touched, ever so slightly, it would cut off power to the hard drive and turn it off which made it impossible to transfer files the drive. i reccomend that customers buy a bigger cable if you getting the toshiba hard drive.

This is my first and its has been a great experience so far. It arrived on time and was package well. Looks stylish and transfer big files quickly. However, the reason for the three star rating is you really need to get a replacement for the pathetic tiny little excuse for a USB cable that is provided with the unit.

#Unbelievably Simple (2009-05-28) Being a technophobe but desperately needing hard drive back up I bought this item with a little scepticism. However it was simply a case of plugging it in and away you go. Files transferred very quickly and I had backed up my entire PC within 10 minutes - loads of space left as well. #Very good (2009-05-13) I bought this external hard drive at Amazon, and the delivery was quick. I haven t got much time to use it but I have transfered all my pictures and music and I still got 90% free capacity on the disk left. Only problem is one day the disk did not worked when I plugged in but I reboot the computer and problem solved!! So far I am happy, but I still haven t try the disk on other computers.

Having read reviews for so many similar products, everybody is happy with this sort of item until it goes irretrievably wrong. It hasn t done it yet, I hope it never does. #Internal Blu Ray Writer (2009-06-28) Took less than 48 hrs from ordering to arrival. Excellent. Fitted the writer into my computer with no problems. Burnt my first Blu Ray disks yesterday. (LG and Intenso). Used Pinnacle Studio Editing System, Good quality picture. Very pleased.

#Good drive (2009-06-17) Have just upgraded my computer and was pleased to include this drive. All seems well so far. Haven t tried the lightscribe yet but so far have burnt DVD s & Blu-ray disks. It lost a star because the blank LG Blu-ray-RE disk that comes with it does not work in this drive!!! After much head scratching I purchased a Sony Blu-ray-RE disk. At £7 including postage I was worried that the drive might be faulty and that this new Sony disc may go the same way as the LG one. Pleased to report it burnt to the disk perfectly. Very relieved.
