YAMAHA PSR E413 The Yamaha PSR-E413 is a 61-key unit with innovative features for learning to play, like the Yamaha Portable Grand and Yamaha Education Suite, and features for when it s time to play, including sound control knobs for real time control over effects, filters, EQ, tempo and 100 different Arpeggiator patterns. The PSR-E413 also includes USB connectivity, allowing for the transfer of songs and styles between the instrument and a computer. This can be used for educational purposes or for musicians to play along with pieces that are downloaded into the unit. For aspiring music artists, recording original pieces is quick and simple with the six-track/five-song capacity onboard sequencer. And, with Yamaha s Performance Assistant technology, anyone can play a song - even novices. When the keys are struck in time with the music, the notes are corrected to match chords of the song being played. No matter what keys are hit on the keyboard, the correct notes will play If you re buyi...

#It does what it says... (2009-07-02) The keyboard is good, we bought as an upgrade to an earlier Yamaha, and the sound is better, plus more buttons and effects. As a keyboard for someone learning it is a good stepping stone, or first purchase.
#Magic Keys (2009-05-26) Very pleased with this keyboard. Some very realistic tones and instruments in the library. It has inspired my daughter and myself to new heights of musical ability.
#Yamaha Keyboard (2009-05-14) Delighted with keyboard. Was £110 cheaper than in shops. Sounds great and no problems at all with delivery.
#Nice Sound (2009-05-05) Bought one of these for myself after seeing how good the one I got for my son was!Moving from an old Technics KN400, the difference is huge. The sound is rich and its a pleasure to play
#Great starter Keyboard (2009-05-03) I hadn t owned a keyboard in about 15 years (the old one had Rick Astley as the demo song, Lol!) and I decided I wanted something not too expensive, but that would sound fairly good. This was a good choice. A pretty reasonable price and decent sound. The Portable Grand Piano sound is particularly nice, but there are plenty other sounds to play around with and more options than I ve been able to get my head around so far. Touch sensitive keys work brilliantly too, allowing you to vary your playing from softer to louder notes. All in all, I think g...

#ux16 yamaha (2009-06-13) Really pleased with the midi interface, use it with a Yamaha keyboard and cubebase. thought worth paying more to keep same and not had any problems. Found best to keep connected to computer all times otherwise have to put cd start up in every time which became annoying.
#Pleased Overall (2009-06-02) I wanted a midi interface to connect between a PC running XP64 Pro and a Zoom recorder, to enable synchronised recording. The purchased cd is of no use, download the XP64 bit driver from Yamaha. After a few hours of frustration everything worked as planned, Mackie DAW remotely controlled by and synchronised to a Zoom recorder. Lost a star for not supplying the driver and making it difficult to find!
#Great interface (2009-02-23) Quite pricey but at least you know it will work - plenty of cheap alternatives but I prefer the Yamaha brand. THE NUMBER ONE GAFF WITH MIDI CONNECTIONS is connecting IN to IN and OUT to OUT (although this seems sensible at first!). This is a very common mistake and an absolute classic! Just make sure you connect IN-OUT and OUT-IN. . . . . . much as you would connect the power inlet on a device to a power outlet on a wall (you don t go linking all your plug sockets together do you?!).
#Starting Problems (2009-02-06) Yamaha UX-16 USB-MIDI cable I followed the advice of Alan Tucker (July 2007) and plugged the OUT cable into the IN socket on our Yamaha PSR-282 keyboard and visa versa and everything worked fine.
#Wise buy (2009-02-04) This item is expensive compared with many on the net but it does the job. In case that sounds like faint praise, I should say that, having bought a cheap generic unit I was left doubting the circuitry of my computer & midi instruments and my ability to set them up! The Yamaha unit channels signals properly: there are no computer-crashing digital echoes and (so far) it has worked well with non-Yamaha instruments. On the debit side, the markings on the input & output plugs are extremely difficult to read: there s little point in a stylish finish if non-one can re...

#Great value (2009-06-14) We have just taken delivery of this item (would definately recommend the proper Yamaha stand to put it on) and we are thrilled. The piano sound is realistic and the keys have a nice bounce to them which is quite close to a real piano.
#Yamaha PSRE213-K (2009-06-05) I bought this for my daughter who has just started leaarning the piano and it was recommended to us by her teacher before we were to consider getting a piano later on. It has been ideal for her to practise on, meeting the requirements she needs as a beginner. She is showing great ability and it looks like a piano will have to be invested in later on!
#Just the ticket! (2009-02-09) As a final attempt to discover if I had any kind of music talent before I hit 40, I decided to try the piano. Sorting through the various reviews here on Amazon and surfing a multitude of other sites I came down in favour of this keyboard. I must say I m very happy with it. Its light enough to be moved around with ease and has a decent sound quality. Importantly, it also came with the power supply included. This is not the case with all retailers so watch out. However, if you are a total novice like me then you may find the small screen very hard to r...
#very good (2009-02-02) I bought the Yamaha PRSRE213-K as a Xmas gift for my daughter, It came on time and the sound quality is really good. I havent got round to getting one yet but it does need a stand as too big to go on lap like our old smaller keyboard. My daughter loves the amount of features that it has. Very well worth the money !
#Keyboard (2009-02-01) I bought this keyboard for my 16 year old daughter for christmas and it is fantastic. She has managed to teach herself to play several songs already having never played before. This is a self teach keyboard and is very easy to use and navigate the programmes. I would say that the best way to describe it is that it is user friendly. This is a must if you are only just starting out but also has everything for a more experienced pianist. Great for young and old.

#Fab but loops not long enough. (2009-05-20) I have had my Kaossilator for ages now and I love it. I did want to give it 5 stars but because you can only loop 8 beats max its not that valuable for a professional DJ. Saying that, I would never sell this item as I just like to pick it up now and again to play around. Im going to buy the Kaoss pad 3 next.
#Art from Kaos (2008-10-15) For those of us who are not blessed with a vast array of synths, digital delays, samplers, drum machines etc the KAoSsilator is a fantastic piece of intuitive kit that enables you to whip up some full on funky grooves and then freestyle over the top, or create so truly avantguarde drones, loops and clicks. or drum and bass kaos or rave loops. . you get the idea. This is not just some kids toy, this has all the the best cherry picked sounds from the Korg database, synths, fat analogue trouser rippers, strings, sound fx, drones etc. . . in fact there are 100...
#Urmazing! (2008-07-23) This is a very nifty bit of kit, its kind of annoying that you cant erase each individual loop as you go along but you quickly get over it. within 20 minutes of opening the box i was mixing phat choons (im so urban!), i was worried all the talk of appregio gates and loops and chorus synths would be confusing but it takes no time at all to pick up. even though i have a wide knowledge of music i could confidently say that a n00b could pick this up and within minutes look like a master. . . and i can hook it up to garageband! sweeet!in short a vert versatile little...
#So fun (2008-02-06) There are plenty of limitations: can t save recorded tracks on the device, no midi, can t selectivley delete layers, no way to create or download additional sounds. Having said all this, it s so much fun and it sounds great. It s hard to be precise when creating tracks, but you can create some great grooves for sure. Everyone I showed it to wanted to get one. I m sure I ll be giving this as a gift at some point. It s much cheaper than the Tenori On or Monome and much easier to come by.
