#Very disappointing (2009-07-04) I ve just received a set of these earphones and eagerly plugged them into my 3rd generation iPod Nano and was very disappointed to hear a feeble, tinny noise coming from them. I ve fiddled with the equalizer to no avail. I got these to replace the standard Apple earphones that came with my iPod but they re no where near as good. Waste of money.
#Microphone broke within 3 weeks (2009-06-30) The headphones and sound was pretty good - but after 3 weeks of light use the microphone stopped working. . . . . this is pretty poor for this brand and at this price point. Still trying to get a replacement. . . . .
#poor build quality (2009-06-29) Mine developed a problem after just 3 months of light use. I don t wear them all the time - perhaps for 5 hrs a week, but there is already a loose connection just above the jack plug. Disappointing as the sound is pretty good.
#Urhh horrible (2009-06-27) The sound is tinny and bass non-existent. Mic is fiddly and doesn t pick up sound nearly as well as the original iphone headphones, which to me have a better sound range as well. . . As a replacement (now they are cheaper) than the iPhone headphones they re ok, for the current price, the original price considering how poor these are is staggering.
#Great sound, shame about the mic! (2009-06-21) Bought this specifically to use with my IPhone as I already had the superb CX400. These do recreate the quality sound of the CX400 but fall down with the mic. You have to hold the mic extremely close for anybody to hear you clearly which defeats the purpose of buying it to use hands free. I do like the little switch that allows you to both the answer the phone and switch the music on and off. Would have rated 5 stars if the mic was better.

#Poor sound quality (2009-06-22) I thought the price was too good to be true! I ordered these to replace my Apple ones that my son borrowed! They arrived promptly and in perfect order but the sound quality was very disappointing. Too tinny with no depth, tried various Equaliser settings on the ipod but to no avail. Swapped them with my `borrowed Apple ones so I m now happy but I now have an unhappy teenager who also says the sound is poor. This brand is usually good but this model certainly is not worth the money.
#Brought these after owning 1 pair of CX300 s for 2.5years! (2009-06-18) Ok, I m not a total Audiophile but I do appreciate a good sound and listen to all kinds of music through my 20 year old celestion speakers at home. I can understand that these type of earphones are not suited to everybody. However they seem to be suited to most people and I love them. There not so expensive that you have to worry every time it rains but they give good enough sound for a really enjoyable listening experience. Having owned the original cx300 s for 2. 5 years they finally gave up and I decided to t...
#Beware if you ve got a 1st gen iPhone (2009-06-13) These are great headphones BUT. . . they are not 100% iPhone compatible. The original iPhone has a recessed headphone socket and these headphones don t work with it. . . you will need an adaptor. This was not an issue with the original CX-300s which had a different connector. This is no big deal for me as I m getting an iPhone 3GS next week, but all the same it might catch some of you out!
#Impressed with my first Sennheiser product (2009-06-11) As the title says, this is the first product I ve bought of Sennheiser and I have to say, for the money, it is brilliant sound quality. The Precision Bass does make a difference. I would have liked a earphone remote but you can t have everything. The red colour matches well with the Nokia 5800.
#Sennheiser CX 300 II earphones (2009-06-08) Great upgrade on standard ipod phones! Detail, separation and clarity are much improved. Fab for the money!

The MX 550 is a stereo in-ear headphone for listening on the move . Very lightweight and comfortable. Balanced basswind system for powerful stereo sound Good bass performance Sound protection system made from metal for protecting the high-performance system Cable bend protection Convenient cord rewind Volume control

#cx 300 earphones (2009-06-22) Excellent in ear phones good bass ave treble For the price very hard to beat
#Headphone review (2009-06-14) Bought these for use with my Nokia 5800 mobile but found they are not computable meaning I had to have the volume on full to hear anything. I did try the different bub sizes but that made no difference, but nothing wrong with the quality.
#Very good quality - if you choose the right size plugs (2009-06-10) Very sensitive to choice of correct size earplugs. When used with the two smallest sizes, the sound seemed tinny, but when the largest ones were usd, and pushed firmly home, the quality was truly excellent. Very good isolation from external noise. They probably won t last as long, but I would say that the quality and isolation is better than my faithful Bose Quiet Comfort 2, which cost ten times as much.
#Good quality for the price (2009-06-09) I think these earphones are the best for the price. I ve had several pairs (one each for two Ipods and portable cd player) and have found them to be just right. Don t fall out of my ears and effectively block out a lot of extraneous sound. Recommended.
#FAKE (2009-06-02) These were fake - didnt bother returning as I dont need to have 2 disspointments in a row. DO NOT USE TERRABOK.

#Very nice piece of kit (2009-06-23) I ve had some E2C s for years but lost one of the earbuds and ordered these to replace (since the E2C s were old anyhow). They are a nicer piece of kit than the E2C s and worth the money but not sure the actual audio playback is that different, although you can hear the difference between lower and higher bitrate stuff so you might end up having to re-code!
#Nice warmth-no distortion (2009-05-29) I listen to most music from classical, through jazz to powerful heavy guitar rock, not much metal, dance, rap or hip-hop. I had previously ordered a pair of se110, and sent them back due to amounts of distortion creeping in at any high volume. These are perfectly clear with a great warmth in the mids. Kick drum + Bass have lovely depth. Reviews that complain about low bass are generally to do with grunge or dance music, where heavy bass is v important. At high volume, still crystal clear sound -maybe too much highs- but very very impressed. Co...
#The marmite of headphones (2009-05-27) Recently purchased SE210s to replace worn-out Sennheiser CX500s for daily commute and gym use. The good points - overall quality of build is superb, astonishing range of ear buds should suit everyone, background noise well eliminated, mid-range and treble clarity is stunning, shure 2 year guarantee gives peace of mind. The not so good - v. weak bass, short wire necessitates use of the extension cable, which weighs a metric tonne, high quality of h/phones highlights the poor quality of low bit rate MP3s. If these had a single 1m cord and stronger...
#Brilliant (2009-05-12) initially i was disappointed but reviews i d read before purchase did state they need to be broken in. i left them playing with my music on repeat for a couple of days and tried them again, again i was disappointed. i then tried the alternate ear piece fittings to see if it made a difference (its hard, but they do slide off), they not only feel different in the ear but also change the sound. initially i found these phones fairly bright but that was due to me not fitting them correctly. you really do have to slide these right inside your ear to get the best fro...
#Mixed bag (2009-05-10) Some good stuff, some bad. Paid £100 from the Apple store (oops), sound quality and construction definitely do not justify the price tag. Packed up after 3 weeks so swapped for some Denon AH-C452s instead which were £40 less, better made and have a much larger range. Good points:V. good high and middle range responseExcellent noise isolationBad points:Rubbish bass responseVery poor construction (took the earbud off and the sound canal actually broke off with it, after only 3 weeks of use)I might have just been unlucky with them breaking so quickly - and I...
