#Good drive once you get it set up on a Mac (2009-07-03) Good price for a 1TB drive, says it works with Mac, so fine for an archive drive as it s only USB not Firewire too. Took way too long to set up, had to work my way through 3 different Macs in the studio to get it working (and I m pretty clued up on this kind of thing!) and even now it isn t recognised by the Macs running on older operating systems. Not a major issue for me, but could be a headache for others. Just a shame when they say something is Mac compatible they never manage to make it as user friendly and logical as a M...
#So simple! (2009-07-02) Amazing - I just literally plugged it in and it worked. What was even better was that it worked on a fairly old Computer passed down from a relative with a DOS I wasn t sure would handle it. No problem. Really pleased with it.
#Western Digital Elements 1TB USB 2.0 External Hard Drive (2009-06-30) This drive is excellent value for money. It is quiet in operation and runs very cool. Although it is not the fastest it is ideal for storing large graphic and video files.
#WDE review (2009-06-27) I am very pleased with my purchase of the W/D/E 1tb hard drive. I am no expert when it comes to computers but this bit of kit is very simple to use and set up, you just plug it in and your up and running. The design of it, makes it compact and easy to store, on top of your pc if you wish. The 1TB memory is more than you will every need for your photos, films and music needs.
#Western Digital Elements 1TB USB 2.0 External Hard Drive - Black (2009-06-26) I bought this in May 2009 to replace an older WD model with a smaller capacity (160 GB)As small black boxes go it will not win any design awards. However, it does exactly what I bought it for: store multiple media files reliably. I use mine connected to a powered hub so that I can connect it to different machines. It was easy to set up and use with no problems. Note that it doesn t have an off-on button so depending on how your kit is set up you may find it is on when you don t need it. A solid reliable ...

#Very good value for money (2009-06-26) My Toshiba External Hard Drive is 5. 25 x 3 x 0. 5 and I was having second thoughts after ordering the Caselogic Small Hard Drive Case, EVA Outer, Black that, after reading reviews that it would be too big. I was pleasantly surprised to find on arrival, that the hard drive fitted perfectly inside & the cables fitted comfortably in the netted pouch on the other side of the case. I have given the measurements in inches for those who prefer. The case itself looked strong & I don t think I d be worried if it was accidently dropped. I was very i...
#Hard Carry Case (2009-06-21) Although I was sent a soft case with my Western Digital Ex Hard drive. This hard case is worth purchasing as it is not a dear item to buy, when weighing up against the possibility of dropping my Western Digital Ex Hard drive, this is will be money well spent. Paul C
#Good kit! (2009-06-19) An excellent case, made to a high quality using good materials. It s fairly rigid and I use mine to carry a hub and several flash drives.

#Does the job (2009-07-04) I bought this specifically to go with the Western Digital WDTV. It works flawlessly with this item and is quiet in operation, Just what you need when watching videos.
#Space Saver (2009-07-02) What more do you want, not much bigger than my Itouch, 320GB, plug and play and a cool colour. Shopped about a little, keen not to have to plug into the mains and the USB option is perfect. It ll sit in a draw for most of its life, i only want it so i don t have to burn many CD s to back up my 27 thousand pictures. Took up about 35gb so should last me a while. If yr hard drive died today and the items on it couldn t be recovered how devastated would you be.

#Memory for Mac (2009-07-04) Good delivery in decent packaging, as for the memory, it s what it says it is. Works fine on my Macbook.
#Must-Have for NC10 (2009-07-02) I am a geek, I use my computers a LOT and I demand a lot of them. I do not want to go into some long spiel about why you should get one of these. So I will try and make it as simple as possible. This is the singlemost cheapest way to get better performance out of the NC10. If you are getting/own one, BUY THIS - You will thank me later. 2GB is really the minimum memory for modern OS and associated applications.
#Easy to install but do we need it? (2009-06-25) I got this for my Samsung NC10. It was easy to install and worked straight away. Since then my jealous partner also got a NC10, but didn t upgrade the RAM. We use both devices side by side and I can t say I can see any difference in performance. Is the RAM really the performance bottleneck in the NC10?It s a cheap upgrade, and I don t regret it. I m sure it gives my netbook a slight edge when I push it but don t expect to notice any perfomance boost day to day.
#Netbook RAM (2009-06-25) Bought this for ASUS 1000HE netbook. Cannot give a before and after account because I upgraded before using the netbook. The instructions that come with it are a series of simplistic diagrams that are open to interpretation. As quite a few people have experienced difficulties, it is definitely worth checking on internet / Youtube for installation advice. Main issues are control of static and the correct angle of insertion. Also read the netbook manual re BIOS tweaks before and after installation. Works well.
#Worked perfectly on a Samsung NC10 (2009-06-18) Worked as advertised. Easy to install and defeintely a performance boost on a stock NC10.
