#Don t expect to work with most modern PCs (2009-06-09) Couldn t get it to work for me. Tried setting to 640x480 with varying refresh rates, but display was always garbled. Note that if you re using Windows Vista, you won t be able to specify a resolution under 800x600 anyway and therefore I would suspect you ll never get it working with that OS. Ended up geting an alternative product that actually converts the signal rather than just re-wiring the pins. Caveat Emptor!

#Not quite like the picture (2009-05-26) When i got the lead through I was disapointed with the perceived quality. It seems cheaper than the one in the pic (thinner lead etc. ) Plus also note that it is female rca and female S-video. So you can t plug directly into a tv/monitor but will have to have another rca/s-video lead to connect it. I missed this in the description. When I did connect it with another s-video cable, it didn t work. There was no picture at all so quality and pic resolution doesn t even come into it. Wish I could downgrade the 3 stars i put in.

#not quite suitable (2009-03-03) whilst this product will work with most resolutions for a basic vga monitor, it doesnt quite match the higher specs nor the graphics output from modern netbooks. In the end i went with a unit from maplin that offers some additional configuration and support for higher res. might be suitable for your needs, but dont expect too much for this price.
