#All You Need For A Brilliant Price (2009-07-03) This modem router was cheap to buy and simple to set up. It supports WPA2 and mac address filtering so, can be made quite secure. Since replacing my Zoom router with this one, I have noticed a big improvement in the stability of the connection. Previously, I had blamed my ISP for the regular loss of connection. Additionally, wifi works really well (good, strong signal) anywhere in our house now - before, this was not the case. If your requirements from your wifi modem router are basic functionality, reliability, good connection speed...
#Netgear DG834G Modem / Wireless Router for BT line (2009-07-01) I have been using a BT Voyager 190 for years with my AOL account. This connects to my PC with an ethernet cable - but only works in the room with my main BT socket. I have always avoided asking AOL for a wireless router because they want £15 a month rather than £10. Instead I bought my own Netgear DG834G wireless router so that I can use my laptop anywhere in my flat. Plugged everything in and the setup disk configured everything automatically in a few minutes - completely hassle free. Also needed to buy an LM USB Wi...
#A must buy for the home network! (2009-06-29) I bought the modem/router after my dodgy Belkin finally died. It was reasonably priced, compact and quick to set up. So far I have had no problems at all (touches wood) and the security setups are really straightforward to utilise. I highly recommend this item for anyone who wants a cheap little wifi modem/router for the home.
#Broken firmware makes this product a door stop (2009-06-23) Beware of some technobabble below. The bottom line is that this will either work with your machine(s) or will drive you up the wall. And you can t configure your way out of trouble. This product is good right up until the point you need to renew your DHCP lease, or do a DNS lookup for a local machine name. I m running the latest firmware and it s, quite simply, broken. After an amount of time of working (around a day), I found that most (except Linux) clients became completely unable to talk to the router or beyond it. ...
#As easy as pie!! (2009-06-21) I agree with other reviewers, that this product is so easy to set up and use it just about does it for you. You do as it tells you and hey presto you are now wireless!! I would recommend this to everyone as I ve never had any problems or difficulties. Just read the instructions and it can t go wrong, it is practically idiot proof!!

The Linksys Wireless-N ADSL2+ Gateway is the all-in-one solutionfor Internet connectivity. The ADSL2+ Modem function gives you ablazing fast connection to the Internet far faster than a dial-upand without tying up your phone line. The Router functio

#Wireless Modem/Router. (2009-05-21) Checked Which reports first and decided on the Linksys WAG160N as being the best buy for my particular needs. Purchased it via Amazon which gave the best price for item from Keep Talking Shop . Item delivered promptly and is up and running and working well. It was easy to install following disc instructions supplied. This wireless link has noticeably improved my Broadband Speed. My phone line extension to my Computer was too long thus causing speed problems. In addition this product gives sufficient wireless protection to avoid interferen...
#Very stylish design coupled with good performance (2009-05-07) I ve never used a Linksys router before and have normally stuck with Belkin and have tried Netgear (which I didn t like). The firs thing you notice about this Linksys modem router is it s stylish design. It s relatively simple to set up and install and I had no problems in setting up for my wireless network. The software is easy to follow and you just follow the wizard. Being an `N router it has far better wireless coverage over our house than a G router. I d recommend an N router over the G or B routers any day for ...
#The first wireless router that worked in my house.... (2009-04-22) I have previously tried three different wireless routers over the years, made by BT, Thomson and Netgear. None have worked reliably, perhaps due to the large amount of metal used in the structure of my house (particularly plumbing). The Netgear worked best but it still was slower than it should be, and the connection dropped out annoyingly often. This Cisco unit, however, worked straight out of the box with no fiddling about, no re-positioning needed. The data-rate is the same as my wired connection, and now all my P...
#nice small, and excellent range wireless router (2009-04-16) I have had problems in the past with routers, but this one advertised as having a very impressive wireless range. The router is nice and small in size, and designed very well. It has an inbuilt antenna which is more asthetically pleasing to look at. It has just 1 button on the entire router. . a reset button. It seems that ciso knew which button people would most like to use. This button didnt really seem to work very well for me when I tried it a few times, so I just usually reset the router by flicking the mains s...
#Fine but Not 100% (2009-04-12) We reviewed this new router having used Netgear dg834 Rangemax as a baseline to compare against. The router looks neat and trendy, having blue Led symbols in the black plastic bonnet shape. Normally have our router wall mounted - and this one does have keyhole slots to do that. The cable ports are at the back when its flat, but that means they are at the top when wall mounted if you want the LED symbols the right way round. Set up was pretty straightforward. Didn t use the wizard, as we have quite a complex topology. Normally the default IP address...

Samsung Wireless Dongle

#do you need this ? (2009-05-26) After buying my samsung tv i was disappointed that it was not already wireless built in and i had to make a separte purchase to ulitise the other features of my tv. i must admit it was quite simple to use, i plugged it in and pretty much found my router. however, not the fault of the dongle, the features of samsung internet tv are quite poor, limited and most importantly SLOW! its faster to access ceefax or freeview teletext and thats says something. youtube if anyone is interested is not yet ready and the news articles which i would be most inereste...

This switching box is just what you need. It has one output which you connect to your home cinema amp and 3 inputs to which things such as DVD, playstation 2, X Box, CD, Mini disc etc.... can be connected. Any of your 3 inputs can then be selected with the switch.

#What can you say ? (2009-06-20) After looking around for sometime bought 4 Fisual Digital Optical Cable - 2m - Pro Install Series to get the best sound out of my sound system. Decided to research this thoroughly by looking up quite a few reviews and websites before purchasing this to link up my Logitech Z5500 Digital PC Multimedia Home Theatre Speaker System - 505 Watt (Total), my LG M227WD 22 wide Monitor with TV Tuner, my Pioneer DV-610AV-S - Universal DVD, SACD Player with HDMI and USB Host (Silver) and my Xbox 360 Console (60 GB Hard Drive). It is so simple to put together takes ...
#Degrades the signal (2009-06-17) This item doesnt work for me. the red light from the cable of the source is nice and bright when held up to a surface, but after being put through this switch the light coming out the end of the next cable is very dim, so much so that my sound system doesnt pick up the singnal and therefore no sound :-(. Its not the cables as they are all fine on their own. I guess it s all you can expect for afew pounds. I wouldnt mind paying a higher price for something which worked, but they all seem to be this sort, so not going to risk it.
#Wouldn t work for PS3 (2009-06-06) My experience of these optical switches are not good. I tried two of these products and both would not work with my PS3, however my virgin box would work but the sound was broken and distorted - I think that there is a loss of light when the cables are connected through it. Company gave me a full refund though to be fair to them.
#works fine but big!!!! (2009-06-04) this item works fine for me although it is much larger than you d expect from the photo. its about the 6 (150mm) across. ive got it connected to my ps3 skyHD through to my 5. 1 sound system. a little tip, inside this unit there is just a bit of optical cable in a curve thats why the inputs are in a semi circle arrangement. looking at the photo the input/output (common) is on the left. therefore you want to use the opposite connections the right first, working back to left with the equipment you use less frequently. that way you are putting th...
#Does exactly what it is supposed too! (2009-06-03) This is cracking piece of kit that works perfectly. I have PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 plugged into this. It is spot on and easy to switch between sources. The only issue you may find is that when you change sources, you may need to turn you speaker system off and on to recognise the new input. But I think this is a speaker system issue really and not related to the switching device itself. Would recommend this to anyone with multiple optical devices. It s cheap and has a quality feel to it. If it dies in 2 years time. . . . so what, bu...

#Perfect (2009-05-23) This box is so much smaller than I imagined and just plain nice to look at! I m using this connected to a Max Value 85 Mbps Home Plug electrical mains network extender to connect a Samsung HDTV (with internet connectivity) and an Xbox. The only slightly odd thing is that the unit doesn t have a clean front , the power adaptor is at one end and the ports on the other side.
#Need more ports on your broadband? get this! (2008-11-07) As the other review says, you really cant go wrong with these blue metal units. Much nicer than the plastic Tupperware boxes you get nowadays. This is good solid little piece of kit, just like the larger blue metal versions. This is a great little hub if you want to add a few extra wired computers to your broadband hub. Or perhaps you want to do a bit of multi player gaming. I have a Mac, PC, and my freeview box, all going through this and into my BT home hub. Remember that if used to connect to a broadband router, then yo...
#Excellent, small switch (2008-02-17) Does exactly what it says on the tin. Five switched 10/100 Ethernet ports in the usual Netgear pro-range good looking, blue metal case. Runs cool and silent, and can be wall mounted if desired. You can never go wrong with the Netgear blue metal boxes when it comes to networking equipment.
