Edimax 11N 150 Mini-Size USB Adapter

#Weak adapter (2009-07-01) To start off, the reason why I bought this adapter was because I would have trouble geting a strong wireless signal in my room. I have a really good wireless n router, the dlink dir 655 however myt current laptop only supported b & g, so idecided to get this edimax wireless n adapter. Surprisingly after i installed the new adapter it actually got a weaker signal then my 5 year old wireless g adapter. I tried everything i could think of but in the end of the day it didnt get any better.
#Great little Mini-USB Adaptor (2009-06-30) This little adaptor is about 1cm wide and about an inch big when sticking out at the side of the laptop. As it is so small, it doesn t budge and dislodge. The drivers were simple to install and it is easy to use. I have tried several others (Belkin included) which were a nightmare, the CD s wizards never worked and everything had to be configured manually. So far I give this little adaptor the thumbs up. I have been pleasantly surprised!
#Great Buy (2009-06-26) Got tis 4 my dell desktop, easyest install, for tis price, quality & speed, its a great wireless adapter 2 purchase!
#Brilliant (2009-06-01) Great Signal Strength, Very Compact and hardly noticable when plugged into my laptop, easy installation.
#Good piece of hardware (2009-04-15) Got this working straight away on my laptop (a pretty old Dell Inspiron). No drivers needed, it found my new Belkin n router without much hassle and the throughput is really good. Worked with the kids PC as well. It already had a edimax 802. 11g pci card installed, but you can tell difference with the ndraft stuff using this little adapter. 10/10

RJ45 to RJ45 in line couplers providing a means of connection for extending 2 network cables.

#Ethernet coupler (2009-06-08) Joins Ethernet cables togetherGood product and delivered quickly Priced properly and not usual 1000% mark up in the local shopsMany thanks
#Yes, it s a Cat 5 Coupler (2009-03-12) What can I say, it s a Cat 5 coupler, the plastic on both connectors holds the cable firmly, and it works. Nothing wrong with it than I can find. .
#Works as it should (2009-02-12) Works exactly as you d expect, without issue. Personally I bought this so that I had a better way to detour my shared internet connection to my Xbox 360, whilst also avoiding the unneccesary complication of a router/hub etc. Ideal for adding length to a network cable, allowing you to simply attach two cables together. No drivers required - works out the box. Probably handy for anyone with a wired network to have a few of these lying around. Very useful.

#Product is okay! Not best buy though (2009-07-01) I bought this product with a Belkin wireless router. I had to return the wireless 802. 11n router as it was not fit for purpose. I bought this USB card to use with that router. But I returned the router and I use this USB card as 54G card currently. I m not able to test N capability of this card until I buy a new non-Belkin wireless router which has N capability. I m giving rating as medium because this USB works great with 54g and I never had connection drops etc. I still need to explore N capability though so not giving full marks...
#Belting Belkin (2009-06-26) This was easy to set up, and easy to get into operation, even with Windows 7!!Thoroughly recommended and I would certainly invest in another if needed.
#belkin usb wireless adaptor (2009-04-10) easy to install and use the only issue is that the belkin software some times conflicts with the windows utility but otherwise another quality product from belkin

WIRELESS-G USB 2.0 NETWORK ADAPTER 802.11G W/ RANGEBOOSTER UK

#It s a lifeline (2009-06-17) It is flexible and can be used with a different make of router. It operates over a reasonable distance and gets through a number of brick walls. excellent value for money. Linksys Wireless-G USB Network Adapter with RangeBooster
#Excellent Product (2009-06-07) Bought this Linsky s Wireless adaptor in the middle of May to have an upstairs office, was easy to fit and is working perfectly. Signal strength is excellent, according to my computer and reliable no interruptions to connection, so going wireless with Linsky s adaptor has been a great success, would highly recommend to prospective purchasers.
#Don t Bother if you use XP (2009-05-22) I bought this for an XP PC, the moment I plugged it in the problems started, it linked up to the network fine, but then 5 minutes later the PC froze, reboot, and repeat. Eventually unplugged it and still same thing happened, had to reload windows to get rid of it. DO NOT USE WITH XP - it seems via internet, it works with some, but others it causes to constantly freeze/crash. Not worth the risk
#vista user (2009-04-22) Bought the product to help connect laptops to a wireless hub, from parts of the building where their in-built wireless was struggling with signal strength. Last week spent hours struggling to set up and figured in the end the problem was because of Vista. Product website absolutely useless (links just take you back to same page you re on!) Anyway, dared to have another go and set-up was fine. BUT my advice for Vista users at least: ignore all installation instructions and ignore CD. Just plug the thing in and it should install itself. In terms of usefuln...
#Excellent! (2009-04-12) I opened the box, loaded the software and plugged it in - that s all. An icon appears on the computer to tell you how good the reception is and there is a repair feature if the signal wanders. I am very happy with the product and would definately recommend it.

#Fantastic! (2009-06-30) I m not usually someone that does reviews, but these fully deserve it. As per previous comments, these are great. I was fed up of losing the wifi signal on my pc and now it is fully stable and even running at 100mpbs meaning no more loss of wifi signal, iplayer and other video players run without the need for buffering. I will be buying at least another one of these - so I can move my server into the garage where it won t annoy anyone. I might even buy one for the wii (with a seperate adaptor of course) and one for the laptop should the wifi signal ever drop. S...
#A Great Alternative to Wi-Fi (2009-06-12) Ok so firstly, a little confusion, I had actually ordered two different homeplugs (not the ones I am reviewing now). However when I received the homeplugs I discovered I had actually been sent two Max Value units instead. No biggy, as these work really well. You simply take them out of their box, plug them in ensuring that they are plugged into sockets on the same circuit, they will automatically detect one another. You just then connect one up to your router with one of the two supplied ethernet cables, and the second up to whatever device ...
#Powerline ethernet adapter (2009-05-26) Max Value 85 Mbps, Powerline Ethernet Adapter, Home Plug, Single Unit Packhas real capability like rapid stable Internet connection and efficient download for access anywhere in your house reasonably near a three-pin 30-amp ring main socket outlet.
#Does EXACTLY what it should (2009-05-16) I read lots about Powerline not giving the speed quoted , but this one REALLY does. My XBOX-360 is too far from my router for wireless (can t even get a signal) so I tried Max Value (85Mbps) twin pack (cheaper than an Xbox wireless adapter), and ended up with 75Mbps - more than enough for streaming video, or downloading from Xbox LIve! So, I replaced another wireless connection (where I was getting 11-30 Mbps) with Max Value (85Mbps), and have a constant 65-68Mbps (and this was with it plugged into a jo-jo, which is not recommended!). It make...
#Could have gotten 5 stars but.. (2009-05-07) Bought this along with the double version and found it to be very straight forward to install, speed for me along my internal wiring (renovated 1953 apt block) was an astounding 84MBPs, what I did notice by chance is that my ping has increased by 3ms (not much but gamers may find it useful) the software however is unfriendly and could have been made better hence why it lost 1 star. . Pros. Dont have to lay Cat5e all over the place. Much better than wireless (I have 2 thick brick walls in some parts and the signal is badly affected)Virtuall...
