The Popcorn Hour A-110 is a enhanced version of the popular A-100 model. It adds support for 2.5/3.5 SATA HDD and USB Slave functionality to improve connectivity and transfer rates. HDMI has been updated to the 1.3a spec, allowing full support of HD Audio pass-through for DTS HD-HR, DTS HD-MA, Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby TrueHD. The ports on the device have also been reconfigured, with a USB port moved to the rear panel, optical S/PDIF replacing the co-axial S/PDIF and a hardware reset button to allow for easier use of the device. Popcorn Hour A-110 allows you to pull in digital video, audio and photos from various sources for your enjoyment on your HDTV or Home Theater setup. #Best Media Player I have Used (2009-07-01) Popcorn Hour A-110 HD Networked Media TankThis is the best media player I have tried, every format I have tried with it works. The menu is so easy to use even the wife can do it! My only criticsm and it is a minor niggle really, is that is doesn t support MAC OS formatted external drives. I m hoping this will be available in a BIOS upgrade soon, but apart from that it is plug in and go. The one think I really like is the remote control which is well designed and the fact that the unit is really quiet in operation.
#Good when it works but very unreliable (2009-06-27) Really good for storing movies. Adequate for music and photos. Don t bother with the online media feeds - they aren t very good. When it works, it is great. Very good picture over HDMI. Very quiet, even with the optional hard disk installed. The reliability of the device is suspect. Mine lasted 9 months before dying. From reading the Popcorn support sites, many other people also experienced the green screen of death . If they can sort out the reliability issues, 4 stars, but for now just 2 stars.
#Good but not perfect (2009-05-25) I took delivery of the pch a few days ago and on opening the product i find there is no uk power lead! so i had to raid a spare pc i have for a power cord, not a great start. I bought a 640gig hard drive for it that was a breeze to fit but not so easy to set up. The pch comes with no instructions on how to set up the hard drive with the device so it was a case of going through the web to find out how to using a usb key to format and set up the file system. Once set up the pc does not recognise the internal drive so you have to find a program so a wi...
#Excellent... but not without niggles (2009-03-09) I ve had one of these for three months, and I absolutely love it. It s allowed me to back-up nearly all of my 690-disc DVD collection onto four hard drives and send my discs into storage. Anyone with needs similar to mine should look no further. BUT, bear the following in mind:1. The machine is not a typical white good . You can t just plug it in, and go. It ll take a couple of hours to set up. If you don t have patience for technology, give this a miss. . . or maybe get a more patient friend to set it up for you!2. Firmware up...
#Does what it says on the tin. (2008-12-05) I have had a few media players in the past and all have had some bad points. But this one I have no complaints at all with. It plays a very wide range of formats from avi, mp4, mkv, iso, img, h264, divx etc the list goes on. Both video and audio are supported very well. So are some internet streaming services just too much to put in a review. This unit does not have wifi but there is a USB Wifi dongle available also specifically for the A110 HD. Plays from PC s, Media Servers, or Straight from a UPnp NAS drive. Great product far outweighs...

#Perfect companion to a living room PC (2009-05-21) I bought this to go with a Dell Hybrid which is used a living room PC connected by HDMI to an HD television, so I can watch BBC iPlayer and other internet TV on TV as well as Blu-Ray and normal DVDs. A normal wireless keyboard and mouse would have ruined the whole effect, which makes this piece of kit the perfect companion. Not much larger than a TV remote, you obviously aren t going to find it easy to write your novel on a diNovo Mini, but you will get used to it very quickly. And it looks good too.
#Super nice (2009-04-14) This keyboard is a must for a HTPC setup. No problems, it just works as it s intended to. Only downside (for me)is that it s very small. I don t need to carry it in my shirt pocket, so I would prefer it to be just a little bigger. But it s definitely cute.
#diNovo Mini - not without its problems (2009-04-03) Ok, this is not going to be a typical review - the current reviews describe the functionality of this keyboard perfectly well. After owning this keyboard for just under a year now, as I bought this right after UK release I just want to highlight some of the problems I have had with my unit. Some of these problems I have had since day one, some have developed with use. I have just had to RMA my unit before the year warranty ended due to three main issues. The first was a trackpad that becomes unresponsive after a little use - gen...
#works exactly as it should (2009-02-08) I ve just got one of these and in fact I m writing this review using it. The keys are solid, obviously a little small (think more two thumb text messaging than touch finger typing) and some keys are a little difficult to find at first but the whole think is responsive to use, quick and simple to set up and perfect for surfing the internet from your couch. Charging is quick, in fact my only real criticism is the case feels pretty pasticky that aside it works exactly as I hoped it would.
#A great second device for PC (limited for PS3) (2008-12-08) The diNovo Mini is a great for occasional control of your PC system. Design - like most recent Logitech offering - is very high quality. With the sleek black and silver finish managing to retain its luster after much thumbing , it still looks good after almost a year of use. The keyboard is well laid out, cramming all required functionality into a genuine hand held size (QWERTY, win media, main music keys, etc). The track pad is responsive and has the perfect texture to provide a degree of feedback, enabling precise cont...

Going cordless means no trailing wires and a tidy desk. The toughball has an inbuilt Optical Trackball (mouse). as as you move, the mouse and keyboard moves with you. Ideal for those who like to sit back and have everything at their fingertips. Finished in a tactile rubberised finish, the Toughball not only feels good, it has a range of upto 10 meters.

#I have 2, excelent, ergonomic in use (2009-06-29) I have 2 of these keyboards, and I think the ergonomics for my big hands is great. I note that a few people have had problems with missing characters and mouse operation intermitant, I have experienced this but it occurred when copying large files over wifi network connection,I had a wifi hub and 2 wifi networked computers next to one another at the time with this keyboard controlling one pc, all using 2. 4ghz this appears to drown out the keyboard, under normal traffic I have no problems.
#Trackbal keyboard (2009-06-21) A most excellent product. Worked straight out of the box. Mouse is very resposnsive and the best bit - no drivers needed. Good on batteries too. Recommend this product for the multimedia centre PC s. .
#Great TV PC lounge keyboard (2009-06-16) This keyboard is great for a Pc connected to a TV in a lounge used for web surfing as mine is. I have not experienced missing letters and find the tracker ball infinitely easier than a mouse when sat on my sofa.
#need to get used to (2009-06-13) Overall I like it. Having click buttons and scroll wheel on the left need getting used to. First time using a trackball. I wish I could tap or click it though. Return key can be bigger but that is not a major problem. Reasonable value. Good size, responding well. (Note: I am only reviewing for normal keyboard use rather than game use) Amazon sent me within 4 days from purchase. Thanks.
#Expensive but good, even under Linux (2009-06-11) I ve been using the keyboard in my living room on a Mythbuntu box for a few weeks now and find that it s not half bad. OK it does miss the odd key-press from time to time but nothing I ve found too frustrating (certainly 98% accurate) and the mouse does take a little getting used to - so it s not for gamers (but that shouldn t come as a surprise to anybody!)It has a number of special keys, namely for Browsing and a Media Player. These mostly work under Mythbuntu*Backward and Forward work just fine*While the Explorer button does nothi...

#Love the Controller (2009-06-09) I have a weak network signal where I have sited the player and so am having to try to reposition my router to compensate but, when the signal is there, all works fine. The Controller is great and I love the fact it works with my old Squeezebox kit as well. The music synching is a great feature.
#Router and receiver ignore each other! (2009-05-19) Like another reviewer, I m very jealous of those who have had no problems with this product. The controller connected just fine, but the receiver refuses to connect to my wireless network. After days of tinkering with settings and learning more about DHCP servers than I care to know, I ve conceded defeat. I suspect the problem is partly my router (a BT HomeHub v1. 5) and partly the Squeezebox system itself. Either way, my Duet is winging its way back to Amazon. It does look like a fantastic product and much more suitable f...
#Excellent- Don t be put off (2009-05-19) I ve had this product for a week and have had no major problems. Set up was beyond easy- It did it itself. I have spent the last few days listening to stuff I d forgotten I had. It really does free your music. Internet connection makes the squeezebox great fun- I really enjoy listening to Last FM and not being tied to my PC. I have also discovered a new pass time. Its called surfing internet radio in other rooms(I m not sure how much longer my wife will tolerate my flipping between continents at the breakfast table. . . )I have had a cou...
#Squeezebox duet (2009-05-18) Excellent product works well with a strong wifi hub - some hubs better than others.
#Super Duet (2009-05-09) After reading some internet forums I was expecting possible problems setting up this product. BUT. . . I just followed the instructions and had it working in lessthan 20 minutes. I have had one or two slight hiccups with it since but they have all been due to minor problems with the computer that serves the Duet, not the Duet. I use the digital output to feed an off-board D/A converter and I think the sound quality, played through an audiophile hi-fi set up is slightly better than the previous CD player used as a transportfor for the converter. Over all,excellent....

#Music Heaven (2009-05-26) I have to admit when I opened the box I did think what have I done, the plastic boxes and speakers didn t inspire me at all. Putting the bits together was easy although setting up the wireless element took a few reads of the instructions before it all fell into place. (being a bit of a technophobe!!). I then started to work my way through my music collection(still an on going process). The results have been amazing, the sound clarity is superb, the unit is easy to use and I love the Jukebox facility and the DJ moods are very cleverly filtered into morning ...
#Music player (2009-05-13) Great product, Setup easy, DAB radio not great reception, I,m going to install a DAB aeriel, hopefully the reception will be OK then.
#Sony Gigajuke (2009-05-12) Took a little time and effort to set up but working fine now. Compact, good sound quality, no discs to add clutter. Multi room benefit. It s the business.
#Brillant piece of gadget (2009-05-11) I was a little bit skeptical about the Sony Giga Juke, i braved it and got one from Amazon and it s been amazing what it does. I think it s a music storage database and a server combined. Playing some latin jazz i could pick out all the tiny little notes, the clarity of the sound is great. It s a fantastic hifi for any music lover, loads of functions that am yet to explore, it makes your music accessible and you have a number of options to suit you. I ll recommend this product any time. If you leave in an old brick house you might need to ...
#nas-sc55 Giga Juke multi roomYes it (2009-02-15) Yes its a great bit of kit takes looooads of cds took quite some time to put our collection in. Connected to the internet easy wireless but found it better wired if no title is found it soon was using net The reason marked down was the use of the key pad (remote control) for editing a bit long and sometimes tedious. Another point i found was the dab aerial is a bit flimsy not what i would call substantial, needed more so now that most radio station broadcastings are dab if not will be. The sound quality i found to be of a very good ...
