This was a fantastic little piece of equipment for the first 6 months (worked every time with no crinkles) but I have gone to use it today and the green light to indicate the machine has heated up will not come on. I tried feeding through the laminate just on the off chance that there was a fault with the light but the machine was not producing enough heat to laminate properly. #great product! (2009-05-27) I bought this laminator, mainly for laminating School Certificates my grandsons have obtained from school for various reasons but I have actually found many uses for it. The vendor is excellent. Prompt delivery. I cannot fault this item not the vendor. Would definately recommend and will use in the future should I require any of their products. Thanks.
#Does not work (2009-03-30) I only managed to use this twice, after that the Power light was on, but the Lamator would not heat up. After reading the rest of the Reviews, this seems to be a common issue. I would suggest you do NOT buy. After entering this review, i went contacted Amazon about getting a replacement, they referred me to Swordfish. I am pleased to say that Swordfish arranged for a replacement to be sent, which i received within a week. So 5 stars for their service. #Laminating Pouches (2009-03-21) I have never laminated before and found these extremely easy to use with my Fellowes Cosmic A4 laminator. I was running a quiz at my club and laminated my copy of questions/answers. It was ideal. I kept looking around for something else to laminate! The sheets are easy to manipulate, and do not get jammed, I had perfect results every time.
#Fellows Cosmic A4 Laminator (2009-06-21) I have given this laminator 4 stars, it not only looks good but is very quiet I didn t even realise it was working until the green light came on, it also has a handy cable tidy making it easy to store. a great product.
#Good laminator but stuck with expensive laminating pouches (2009-06-13) This is a good laminator, i ve had no problems with it so far. But be aware that the pouches you buy for it can t be over 100 microns and most 100 (good value for money) packs are for 150 microns or above. I can t find any cheaper alternatives to the Fellowes packs of laminating pouches. Which compared with the 150 micron packs of 100 available are expensive. With hindsight i wish i d have invested in a more expensive machine that gets to a higher temperature in order to buy the cheaper pouches as in the lon...
#Good value for money (2009-06-12) Works pretty well and good value for money. Only one slight disappointment which is that the free laminating pouches that come with it are not A4 in size inspite of what it claims.
