It performed admirably. I checked out the Bose unit and believe me, its not worth the extra money. In my opinion this is far better. I have now replaced the unit as I have a 4th gen Nano and the unit I had didn t charge it. So long as this issue is now addressed, buy one. P. s. I ve passed my unit onto a friend with an older ipod and they are just as impressed!! I ve moved on to a Pure Avanti Flow.

For a budget unit like this the sound is very clear and exactly what I wanted when I first started looking for a CD/DAB/ipod dock. #Good sound for a good price (2009-06-14) It s been in place for a couple of weeks now, sound is excellent as is the ipod dock,The DAB signal is a little limited, I can only pick up BBC stations at the moment, but that s probably go more to do with the position and not the unit itself. You can hear it as background music, but songs are not clear enough.
