The SwiMP3 v2 underwater MP3 player is an incredible audio experience. Imagine listening to hours of your own music during your swim workout. The SwiMP3 s innovative sound transfer technology offers exception underwater sound quality. Standard players rely on the transmission of sound through air or water causing the swimmer to perceive only muffled noise. The SwiMP3 uses bone conduction - the direct transfer of sound vibrations from the cheek bone to the inner ear - to provide the swimmer with exceptional sound clarity. The SwiMP3 is fully waterproof and can be used with all the competitive swim strokes. How Does It Work? The new SwiMP3 is revolutionary in that it relies on bone conduction of sound. When the device is placed on any bones of the skull (i.e. the cheek bones or the mastoid tip) it leads to vibration of the fluid in the inner ear. Thus swimmers can enjoy clarity of sound with the SwiMP3 device that was never before possible. Bone conduction hearing is a safe well-establis...

#Perfect for what it is... (2009-07-02) I ve been using this for over 6 months and can confirm that this is an excellent product. I ve been forced to wear a swimming cap at the pool that I m using these days and the SwiMP3 fits easily inside and provides good sound for swimming. Oh and I m pleasantly surprised at how long the battery lasts. I have previously used a watertube with waterproof in ears phones that didn t really work too well plus the thing broke and this is by far and away the better piece of kit for taking your music into the pool. I know that it doesn t have full functi...
#The best waterproof mp3 out there. (2009-06-05) I have used this device 3-4x a wk for 3 months with NO problems at all. I did a lot of research before purchasing and decided that I did not want an mp3 player that fit in your ear - you d be constantly readjusting it to make sure the seal was in place etc. This device is incredibly comfortable with excellent sound quality and durability. It is expensive but worth it if you use it at least 2x a week. I used to find swimming utterly boring. Now, I love it! The music really motivates me and breaks up the monotony of swimming. ...
#SWIM (2009-04-25) GREAT FOR LONG SWIMS, CAN USE ON MAC BUT WILL NEED TO CHANGE MUSIC FILES TO MP3 STANDARD. SOME SONGS DONT SEEM RIGHT TO SWIM TO AND ARE NOT CLEAR. GREAT SOUND WHEN UNDERWATER BUT STILL CAN HEAR BREATHING AND STROKE SOUNDS.
#Good swimming mp3 player with minor annoyances (2009-02-28) I ve had the swimp3 v2 player since December 2008 and have used it around 5 times so far on particularly long distance swims. It really does work well once you get it into position. The ear pieces clip onto your goggle straps and sit vertically just over your temples - right in-between the goggle and your ear. Once I d tightened up my goggle straps, the system stayed in place and enabled me to do 1500m sets without having to stop to adjust it. There are just three buttons to operate the device - on/off and skip forward/...
#generally pleased (2009-02-28) It s taken time for me to warm to the SwimP3 player, but I think I am generally satisfied. Firstly I could not get the ear paddles to sit correctly, and got frustrated when the sound quality was poor. Then when I got them to sit correctly they made my goggles leak (even more frustrating). I am still not 100% sure it s even working correctly, because the sound is sometimes distorted. I think I ve finally got the positioning right, but there s been a lot of stopping and starting - and lots of frustrating sessions in the pool. The on/off button seems ...

#Buyer beware (2008-12-26) The 2GB mp4 had a good write up, why not get a 4GB instead I thought? BIG MISTAKE! It did look nice but it didn t work. The instructions were laughable and barely English. My son, who knows about these things, loaded some music but it wouldn t replay anything. In fact it kept switching off with a cheerie Bye Bye. We lost the will to persevere and I am returning it. A disappointing present for my daughter, however. I would prefer to give it no stars at all.
#mp3-4 player (2008-12-02) Thankyou to all who wrote a review, i will not be purchasing one of these thanx to the reviews, i dont want to dissapoint my son on xmas day, might just buy a proper i-pod, at least i no im getting my moneys worth. THANX. . . . .
#cheap and cheerful (2008-09-09) I just got this music player today, a day late. So far it seems to be working fine. The buttons are noisy and stiff to use. I did get a charger and earphones for it. I was dissapointed by the instructions which are hard to understand, because its very bad english, however I managed to figure out how to use it by myself. The speaker is good. there is a variety of games on it but no instructions on how to play them. I have not tried video yet. the radio is not very good and doesn t seem to pick up any stations. All in all what can you expect for such...
#mp4 player (2008-08-18) Bought this for my son s birthday! Can t get it to work. No proper instructions. Centre button doesn t work. Can t get past the menu. A real shame!
#SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!! (2008-08-15) I regret buying this heavily. I bought it because of the raving reviews on here and wished I hadn t! It may be cheap, it may look like an iPod but the instructions have been so poorly translated from Chinese to English, you can t understand a single thing!!! For instance:Return can from the CD CD ducting musicThe conjunction arrive the USB port of computer (isn t the USB port on the keyboard. With constitution also start refreshComputer work be full of electricity most need 3 hoursFrom BE broadcast The screen press centre button. Then usage ...

#mini mp3 (2009-02-01) great little mp3 for a younger child easy to use easy to upload music onto
#worst customer service ever! (2008-10-31) This product seems to be incompatible with Mac OS, and the customer services were unhelpful, saying they would call me back to help with queries and never doing so. Avoid this company!
#Cheap and cheerful (2007-07-24) This is the first MP3 player I have had, so I would have appreciated some instructions on how to get the music into it from my computer (I had to take it to work and ask a boy. . . )! It s supposed to hold 250 songs, but mine is full with a fraction of that on it, although that could also be due to my technological ineptitude. As some of the other reviewers have said, the lever thing is fiddly and I wouldn t be surprised if it broke soon. Having said that, I think the sound is OK and it serves the purpose I got it for. For less than a tenner, I ca...
#Poorly designed (2006-08-31) If you choose to buy this MP3 player I strongly suggest you keep your receipt, as mine broke after I d had it about a week. The navigation lever is not built to last, and mine snapped. Although it is cheap and looks pretty, it is well worth doing a bit of research into mp3 players and picking one which costs a bit more, but will actually last and be reliable. You get what you pay for.

#The perfect product? (2008-07-07) I ve read the other reviews of this little MP3 player and can t believe the wide range of comments written. It all goes to show, I suppose, that subjective criticism can give you completely differing views of the same piece of kit. I m angry with myself for only buying the basic 512MB version of this player. When I first heard it I couldn t believe the quality of sound I was listening to. The supplied headphones are better than most freebies, but when you get serious with some upgrades - and we re not talking silly money here - you realise how ...
#Absoloutely fantastic, better than any ipod - amazing sound quality (2007-06-30) I ve now had this mp3 player for a year and I have to say it is amazing. It s small, lightwieght and compact. The sound quality however is the best feature. The 3DNE sound function is fantastic making it sound like your listning in surround sound. Plus, I love listning to heavy bass songs on this player because of the suberb bass playback. I have had no problems with this nifty littl player and I am so happy with samsung that I dont actually want to buy a product from any other company. Overall, excel...
#Brilliant (2007-01-16) I ve had this player for a couple of months now and I m well impressed. It s small, sleek, well made and not an iPod (I see this as a strength). It plays pretty much any format (including ogg - yay!) and has a decent battery life. Perhaps best of all is that it s recognised by PCs as being a flash drive meaning you can just drag and drop tracks to it in File Manager, so no nasty iTunes/Sonic Stage nonsense to mess around with. Personally I find the sound quality very good - excellent clarity and separation (if you re using decent bitrate files in the firs...
#Nice little device - shame about the sound quality (2006-10-22) I recently purchased a Samsung 512MB flash mp3 player. The device itself is very nice. Small, light, compact and sleek. The software is competent and the earphones provided are much better than the usual rubbish that comes free with devices such as this. However, this is all spoiled by the sound quality which is not great at all. The player cannot handle any bass whatsoever which is not good for an avid listener of drum & bass, hip-hop and other forms of music that revolve solidly around a heavy bass-line and the vol...
