#compact flash that fits Ipod mini (2009-05-09) Excellent product which I used to replace/upgrade the old traditional moving part 6GB hard drive in my Ipod mini
#Amazing for loads of pics (2009-05-01) Going on holiday and wanted a large storage card for my photos, this card gives some 3450 odd pictures in the RAW format which saves changing from one card to another. Good value for money.
#Great card, great value. (2008-09-01) Got 4 of these 8GB cards (as well as SanDisk ones). . . in comparison these sit just under the SanDisk Extreme III in terms of speed. Download using SanDisk Card Reader @ 20mb/sec average. This seems to vary depending on the type and number of files on the card, and card reader. (Budget card reader will give you a slower speed, as expected really)Upload to CF from Card Reader @ 10mb/sec (slow but I hardly ever do this anyway)In the camera (Canon 5D), its more than fast enough even when shooting RAW. If you have 1D series / high fps you may want ...

#Essential piece of kit for any Nikon dSLR owner (2008-12-13) Nikon s entry level flash is a fantastic offering and lives up to the quality name you d expect from a Nikon product. The biggest reason to buy this flash is to be able bounce the light for indoor shots. This redirection of the light eliminates the directional lighting effects produced by a normal built in flash and creates photos that look like they were taken in natural light. Cast shadows and over exposure will be a thing of the past. A second reason is that you ll need a high mounted flash if you use a fatter lens -...
#Best D40 upgrade you can make (2008-05-24) Like most reviewers I bought this for use with a D40. The improvement it makes to indoor shots is truly amazing. If you re a D40/40X/60 user, I guarantee you will be surprised by how much more natural and well-balanced your shots will look. Also, to confirm what another writer said - Unlike the built-in pop-up flash, you are not limited to single shots. The SB400 lets you shoot in continuous shooting mode with flash. And just to prove it, I m now typing this bit with my left hand, and have the shutter release button on the D40 held d...
#Nikon - SB-400 flash (2008-04-14) I recently added this to my camera kit as I needed to boost my in-camera flash. The flash kit comes with its own handy zipped carry pouch and is neat and small in both size and weight. Easy to fit, and uses 2 AA batteries with a quick recharge time. You can programme the strength of the flash by using the in-camera menu and this does prove a little awkward if you want to take a succession of shots at different levels as you have to return to the menu. The reason that I gave this product 4 stars is that it is really only one step up from the in-c...
#Good Flash (2008-03-28) I bought this flash for use with my Nikon D40. The 18-200mm lens I have on the camera meant that the on-board flash created a lens shadow in the centre of images, something that this SB-400 flash unit has remedied. The ability to bounce-flash is great, although this unit only moves in the vertical axis- no horizontal bounce. This means that for shots which require the camera to be tilted 90 degrees the bounce has to be done via a wall or other obstacle. All in all this is a great flash for the price, but if you re after anything other than a lightweight flash...
#Truly portable and controllable light (2008-01-13) A perfect lightweight compact partner for the D40/D40x. This has improved all of my photographs no end, indoor and outdoor. A million times better than the pop up flash on the camera. Full control of the flash output is possible through the camera itself. The bounce system is brilliant, and the flash gun itself is small and compact, and balances perfectly on top of the camera, unlike the other top heavy options like the SB600. A bargain price for a truly excellent product - well done Nikon. It is possible to bounce flash when t...
