I bought this having had a very disappointing experience with a different make and was extremely sceptical regarding the quality, both visual and sound, because it was in the same price bracket. #lens cover (2009-06-26) Had this Sony DCR SR37 camcorder for about a month now. Own a Sony DCR92E PAL. but it is not compatable to PC upload, so have bought the SR37. (which I do find very good with editing on the PC)Find it very similar to my old one, but it does not have a viewfinder. I do not like the LCD screens. Find they are useless in sunshine. Also am suprised that the lens cover doesn t open and close automatically when the camera is turned on or off.

I found that you need Admin rights to use the software built into the machine, meaning that you can t use it on most works machines, and also in most internet cafes. #Fantastic value for money (2009-06-23) This is the first camcorder I have purchased and I m absolutely delighted with it. I was looking for something small and easy to use. It is very light and it couldn t be easier to toggle between video and still photo mode and you can review your pictures in an instant with another turn of the toggle.
