#Right out of the box (2009-06-04) The photo frame has some good attribitutes in that it is easy to load photos either directly to the memory or via the many memory card options. The instructions are easy to follow and picture quality is good. The only drawback so far found is that the starting photograph is always the same when using the auto start/stop timing feature. This means that if more photos are loaded than can be shown in the time set some are never shown. This is the case even if random mode is chosen.

No gimics such as video, MP3 music or bluetooth, just great quality images and a versatile and sensible operating system/menu structure. My PC recognised it immediately, as if an external drive, and using XP creating a folder then dragging and dropping photos was a cinch. #Excellent (2009-02-08) This digital photoframe is easy to use and packed with features. Onboard memory allowed me to load and display pictures in minutes. Frame recognised by my computer (XP) as soon as it was plugged in. Display is vibrant and crisp - the best I have seen. Have subsequently tried out CF card and SD card and both work great.

#Does what it says and well! (2009-07-03) I set up the frame this evening and found it straightforward with an impressive picture quality. I note that other viewers have said the lack of battery back up is a problem but it doesn t really worry me. Overall -very good, especially now it s on discount.

#Not fully satisfied (2009-06-28) The product makes its own mind up when it wants to switch on and off through the auto settings. It does not have an internal battery unlike its predecessor consequently when you unplug from the mains power you have to go through the setting up procedure all over again - not good !

#Philips 7 photo frame (2009-04-20) Our first frame had a fault, but due to the totally inadequate instructions it took several months to establish that it was it, and not our programming, that was at fault. Despite that, the Amazon service that provided us with a replacement, within days of our informing them of the fault, was Amazing. The returns proceedure was painless, free and could not have been more efficient. The replacement frame is perfect, the quality of the picture is excellent, it is just a shame about the badly translated, inadequate instructions.

#Internal memory corruption (2008-11-19) The internal memory quickly became irreversibly corrupted when loading files from computer via the USB port, a problem alluded to by a previous user. Although it has a USB connection (which is the problem), it lacks a USB port that will display images from a standard USB memory-stick.
