#incrediable little thing (2009-07-01) I had made plans to buy a netbook about 2 months before I bought this product, I also come to conclusion to buy this one week before I bought it. I was really looking forward to getting it so I made a mad decision to buy it early, incredible delivery by amazon coming the next morning. the moment the netbook was turned on I was gob smacked at the speed of this tiny little laptop had hidden inside it, not only did this impress me but when I got it I had 35% battery left, this lasted me 4 and a half hours in powersave mode with the brightness at a a... #ee PC 1000HE (2009-06-29) There are now probably lighter and more compact net books about, however this has a very high spec - 160GB disk, excellent webcam, fast processor, bluetooth, etc. The only complaint is a slightly clattery keyboard - not firm. Screen quality is average. Overall a very usable & portable machine - fantastic battery life - it really is over six hours of continuous use and standby seems to go on for days. #Excellent Netbook (2009-06-28) Excellent netbook. Very solidly built and feels like it could withstand some fairly rough treatment. Currently travelling in Asia with it and it is holding up extremely well. The wi-fi works well and has a similar range to that of my bigger laptop. #externel usb cd/dvd rom (2009-07-04) A straightforward 5 stars, one of the few things that I have unwrapped plugged in and it worked immediately doing just what I expect of it. It seems fairly durable too and a necessary adjunct to the NC10 I bought it for. JB #USB CD/DVD player (2009-06-28) Good product - works out of the box - works well with my Dell Mini 10. Arrive in time - albeit 6 days which is a bit slow for first class mail !!. Writes CDs and plays Dvds only so beware if you think it will write Dvds !. Comes with two leads one for the USB link and one for USB power - just in case your PC limits the power output from the USB sockets so thats a good design. Leads are also included as well - which also helps a lot. #Compact and good value for money. (2009-06-25) About as small as I d expect an external DVD drive to get - very compact. It has a nice matt ruberised coating, although this is already starting to come off at the corners after a few month use. I do cart it around in my backpack unprotected though, so that s not really a surprise. It works well with my Samsung NC10. I had to look online to find DVD software, as it doesn t come with any, but that s not realy a problem. Overall, thumbs up: It works well, is compact and good value for money. #Just don t do it... Sony Notebooks - NS Range #very pleased with returns policy and efficiency (2009-06-29) I was impressed with the price of this VAIO and I know them to be great laptops. By the time this one had arrived my circumstances had changed and I no longer needed it. I was incredibly impressed with Amazon s return policy and quick reimbursement with minimal stress. Thanks Amazon! #Software Removal (2009-06-25) As with a lot of people before me I am very pleased with this wonderful little package, but I am having some difficulty with connecting my iPod Classic, but the iTunes list does not vanish when I open this before connecting my iPod. I did find some difficulty in removing the 60 day trial version of McAfee Internet Security until I was told that I should find the complete removal tool mcpr. exe, only if you use this tool can you install another antivirus or internet security program. The features on it are amazing. It s a very fast computer, compared to my 4-year-old desktop PC. I ve no major problems with it at all. Would highly recommend it to everyone. Another review on Amazon mention problems with Wireless LAN links but we had no problems - just worked straight away with no set-up issues at all. The spec is comparable with similarly priced machines, and fine for running games such as Spore, while the finish is classy and the build quality is high #reassuringly solid) compared with other systems at this end of the range.
