Blasts my Zune (mp3 player) out even when it is only on half volume. The wire is long enough for me to put it any where on the dash board or the passenger seat. Haven t used it a great deal yet so don t know how long it will last and this is the only one I ve bought so can t compare it to any of the other models. A++++

#Sony Cassette Adaptor (2009-05-30) I did not know they existed until a friend told me about them, all I can say is an excelent product that works very well. Far cheaper than converting to a CD player and just as good.

#Not the same sound qualty as CD, but better than an FM transmitter (2009-05-30) The title tells itself. Besides when I push it into the car cassette player it starts to wind it forward. Due of this, loud noise comes out from the player. But who cares if the engine`s sound beat it? And a little bit of white noise comes from the speakers too so you should keep the cassette player volume down and use your MP3 player`s volume to set it high.

#There s a reason why its cheap (2009-05-27) When i received it, a put it in, attached my ipod and pressed play. Nothing but low quality sounds came out, the kind of sounds you get when you turn the music up too loud and the bass goes all fuzzy. No matter how quiet i turned it down, there was nothing but poor quality fuzzy sounds.

#Dissappointment! (2009-05-14) I have bought this product recently, and wouldn t recommend it to anybody. The sound quality is poor, and unbearable if the song has a bit of extra bass and in general there is a background bizzing noise which is very anoying on every song I have tried out!

#Cheap Product, you get what you pay for! (2008-12-04) Looked at this product and thought it looked ok read a few reviews and seemed to be good! Cheap and cheerful. When I received it tried to play it in my car and was ok for about 5 mins and then turned its self over. It kept doing this every five mins. This is very annoying after a while. I then tried it in my tape player back home it did the same thing. This product works but just not very well. My advice is go for a more expensive one and you will have a better experience. The saying is true. . . . you get what you pay for...

#use for speaking book re blind persons (2009-05-12) packaging was rather battered & torn but the player was in excellent condtion. After some guidance for use the part blind lady can now enjoy books again thanks to this player & of course Lancashire library service for the regular supply of talking books. many thanks for the fast & prompt service of this player.

#Mum loves it! (2009-02-01) I bought this for my mum because she s got lots of cassette tapes - some with music but lots with audio books - and she likes to listen to them in the car . . . but my dad doesn t!!! Therefore, this was ideal. She loves it . . . she even wears it in bed to help her get to sleep some nights!

#Good in parts but poor AM (2007-09-13) Although FM reception is good, I found AM very poor - lots of noise and virtually no reception when product is held upright. Tape quality is good as expected. Controls are fiddly - too few buttons. Battery life good, especially considering only takes 1 X AA. Design of battery compartment poor though - after using for about 18 months, broke after dropping a couple of feet, rendering it virtually unusable. Would not buy this product again.

#EXCELLENT ! (2006-04-08) I was a bit wary about buying this item after reading the review by the person who said I d have to be under a radio mast to get a good radio signal. I m glad I followed the other reviwers - this is a great item for the money. I ve already pre-set the stations I need and pick them up very well. Excellent item !

#C Maycock (2009-07-02) At last I have found a simple analogue portable FM radio which works and remains stable as I move from room to room in our thick cob-walled (mud, straw and stone) house at a bottom of a Devon valley, where mobile reception, for example, is impossible. DAB was useless and even previous more expensive analogue radios tended go off volume as I moved to different parts of the house. This Sony is just what I was looking for and brilliant value.

#Good value pocket radio (2009-06-28) Brilliant value hand held radio. Seems to never run out of batteries (only 2x AA size). Great signal with the aerial up left on its own or down when its in your hand (touching the aerial uses you as the aerial to boost the signal). Very light at only 200 grams. Only downside is the speaker which although can be turned up loudly, has almost no bass at all, so the sound does not carry far beyond 5 meters.
