#Now ear this! (2009-06-11) When i first got these headphones, i was excited. I had had a pair of Plantronics before and unfortunately they died on me, so i sought to invest in a new pair. The headphones are bassy, loud and have a good range of audio reproduction. High ends were a little lacking with the midrange being a little overpowering and a good thumping bass. The microphone is great, the noise cancelling really worked well and the in-line digital volume control and mute button were defenitely life savers! However. . . there is a darker side to these headphones. They had tha...
#Good headset but unreliable (2009-06-04) I have used headsets at work all day long over many years and been through a number of plantronic headsets. This particular model though comfortable has developed mic faults on two different headsets in less than 6 months. The last set only lasted 6 weeks before the mic stopped working! I think its probably a fault on the in-line switch which is pretty cheap looking for a supposedly premium device
#Happy eventually (2009-02-04) My initial experience of this headset was mixed. The quality of the sound is fine, but on my XP system, I had a very poor experience tying to get the sound to switch between headset or system speakers. When I initialy connected the USB plug, XP detected the headset and installed the relevant drivers, but I had to randomly play with various settings to get the sound into the headset. Then when I unpluged the headset, I had no sound as it was still directed to the now dissconected headset. However, I m now running the beta release of Windows 7, and they...
#Great Headset (2009-02-02) I bought this headset twice, once for myself and another time for a christmas present. Plantronics as a company produce good headsets, with great sound quality and is sturdy. I bought this headset for myself as a replacement for my old DSP-500 which unfortunately broke after 1. 5 years, which was not due to the make of the headset, but i had not been careful with it and so it had been sat on, dropped and stepped on a few times. This headset has had a similar run for its money and still one year later it is working perfectly. It is comfortable around the h...
#DISAPPOINTED BUYER (2008-08-27) The headset is fine insofar as it accurately captures sound - I m handicapped and need a headset for Dragon speech recognition software. But, the headphones hug/enclose the ears so that it s hard to hear oneself talk, and I don t like that. Apparently they were designed with gamers in mind. I find that the size settings on the headphones alter every time I put them on, which is a bit of a ******, I have only one good hand.

#Fanstastic headphones (2009-03-28) Great all-round headphones, really comfortable fit and top quality sound. These also look really good and are plenty loud enough to wear around your neck and listen to music still.
#Excellent product, Excellent service from Amazon. (2008-01-21) I bought the Sennheiser HD435 after my PMX-100 s broke. I loved the PMX-100 and was very tempted to buy another pair for only £20, but decided, since i only really use my headphones in the car, about 1 hour a day, i might as well buy a more robust pair, sacrificing the ability to store them in my pocket. I was glad i did, the HD435s are an amazing pair of headphones, the bass is easily as good as my dad s HD595 (£80-100) headphones. The general sound outperforms the PMX-100s by quite a bit and when you have these headph...
#A comfortable, punchy headphone for portable player use (2008-01-11) After the loss of my stock Sony headphone, I bought this open-backed Sennheiser HD-435 model. It features a detachable in-line volume control cable. Cosmetically, I like the clever red/orange inlay around the ear cups. This model shows good sensitivity. The sound is quite warm overall, but still nicely punchy. I like the bass performance and the clarity in the highs. My only minor quibble: I find the mid-range slightly recessed. Overall, I find this well-priced model to be a solid-performing headphone for my p...

#Good for travel (2009-06-14) A good set of headphones ideal for travel as the solid box ensures they are organised
#Fabulous product - would definately like to get hold of this item at this price again! (2009-04-28) I ve broken these headphones by twisting the wire too much before undoing all the knots - now one side isn t working. Not a design or product fault - completely mine! Really, really, really upset however cos these are the best headphones I have EVER purchased at a fantastic price. :-(
#great headphones (2009-04-01) Bought these headphones about two years ago and imo they are very good. i mostly wear them round the home listening to my ipod classic especially if my wife is watching her soaps!. I find them very comfortable and a lot better than fiddling around than trying to put in-ear phones in. I can nether get a good fit with in-ears plus the ear wax yuk!. Found the sound to be very natural, with the treble and bass just about right. So summing up i would definitely recommend these headphones
#Head phones (2009-02-01) Wicked love them good sound @ a very reasonable pricewould like to know where to get spare foam covers though. .
#A Solid Product - Just Read All Reviews (2009-01-13) Having read the multitude of reviews on Amazon and other places, there has been a real mixed reception to these headphones. I have grown bored of in-ear headphones, and decided a pair of over the head ones were the job, and like many people, have owned the PX100 s and decided to upgrade to the next level. I have now been using the headphones on a regular basis for 2 weeks, and here is what I have found. Firstly, there has been much criticism about the lack of Bass from these units, and I would initially say, that is indeed true,...

The iconic type 302 phone was designed by the prolific industrial designer Henry Dreyfuss and introduced in 1937. He used ear to mouth measurements from 2000 people to create the egonomic handset. The first to incorporate the bell in the base of the unit, the phone was originally cast in metal. This piece was later produced using a heavy-duty plastic housing. Its appearance, combined with a rugged construction, earned it the nickname The Cow s Hoof because of its lipped hoof-style base. This early desk version served as the standard for the better part of World War II while telephone design efforts were halted due to defense work.

#Better than expected (2009-06-22) Bought this becuase I have an antique desk and wanted something that would go with it. Phone is better than expected, it is a good chunky quite heavy phone as you would expect, like the old originals not like some lightweight replicas, good sound quality I love it in fact I will be buying another for the living room
#Love the ring tone (2009-05-06) After having several wireless phones in the house, and continuing reception problems, I officially gave up and went back to a landline phone. With that in mind, i wanted something a little retro and a little bit different to any of the modern versions on the market. I love this phone, the ring tone (slightly Amityville horror), and the look and feel to the phone. The reception, being a landline, is a 100 times better. Literally the oddity is getting used to the push button numbers being in a circle again. I also bought a black 1950s retro phone whi...
#Perfect vintage style! (2008-10-08) This is a perfect phone for that period look. It really does replicate the original well (we have an original 40 s Bakelite version which sadly has appalling sound quality unlike this modern version). The bell ring is identical to our original and the push button dialling cleverly disguised as rotary certainly saves fingernails! The handset is of a good weight and sends and receives sound very clearly. The little touches such as the button marked `operator and the `wait for dial tone lettering all add to a convincing look. All in all the best ...
#A proper telephone (2008-09-03) This is a nice, solid telephone. The receiver is quite heavy and an attractive shape which is pleasant to hold and it sits well on an old desk. It has a proper ring and the sound quality during a conversation is good. It is a good quality dull black plastic which is of a bakelite type. Dialling is by push button, I think I would have liked a chrome rotating dial better. Glad I bought it.
