#Good headset but unreliable (2009-06-04) I have used headsets at work all day long over many years and been through a number of plantronic headsets. This particular model though comfortable has developed mic faults on two different headsets in less than 6 months. The last set only lasted 6 weeks before the mic stopped working! The quality of the sound is fine, but on my XP system, I had a very poor experience tying to get the sound to switch between headset or system speakers. #DISAPPOINTED BUYER (2008-08-27) The headset is fine insofar as it accurately captures sound - I m handicapped and need a headset for Dragon speech recognition software. But, the headphones hug/enclose the ears so that it s hard to hear oneself talk, and I don t like that. Apparently they were designed with gamers in mind. I find that the size settings on the headphones alter every time I put them on, which is a bit of a ******, I have only one good hand.

#Perfect vintage style! (2008-10-08) This is a perfect phone for that period look. It really does replicate the original well (we have an original 40 s Bakelite version which sadly has appalling sound quality unlike this modern version). The bell ring is identical to our original and the push button dialling cleverly disguised as rotary certainly saves fingernails! The handset is of a good weight and sends and receives sound very clearly. The little touches such as the button marked `operator and the `wait for dial tone lettering all add to a convincing look. #A proper telephone (2008-09-03) This is a nice, solid telephone. The receiver is quite heavy and an attractive shape which is pleasant to hold and it sits well on an old desk. It has a proper ring and the sound quality during a conversation is good. It is a good quality dull black plastic which is of a bakelite type. Dialling is by push button, I think I would have liked a chrome rotating dial better. Glad I bought it.
