#Great product! (2009-05-21) This plug has cut down the amount of time needed to charge my MP3 player from at least 6 hours to just 35 minutes!! Incredible. I can take the plug anywhere with me, I don t need access to a computer to charge up my player, and it means I no longer have to leave the computer turned on for hours! Amazing product, and I would recommend it to anyone. Great service from the seller, item arrived quickly and without fuss. One very happy customer!

#It works - what more can you say? (2009-02-04) When you plug it in and connect a USB lead then the right sort of electricity comes out of the other end to make the USB powered device work. It didn t blow up, destroy my ipod or (fortunately) start singing the Billy Bass song. Found the powermonkey simple to use and selection of mains chargers that come with the package reduces requirement to carry suitcase full of chargers and adaptors to an acceptable level. But, from my daughter ----- WHY IS THERE NO ADAPTOR FOR MY DS???. Please advise if there is a usb to ds connector - can t find one on web. Buy this though - kids love idea of using the solar panel and charging for free. EXCEPT THE DS!!!!!! Sorry, I think my daughter said that earlier.

#Great idea if it works (2009-03-18) I brought one of these for the same reasons as everyone else, compact, eco friendly, portable, etc. But I was unfortunate to receive a power monkey that didn t work. I contacted technical support, who were great and they sent me a replacement. Power monkey 2 seems to be working fine, fingers crossed I won t have any problems. If you are thinking of buying one, I would recommend, even if you receive a faulty one the support team are great and will send you a replacement.

The Solar Slave, with it s large solar panels, does an excellent job of catching all available light. But even more useful is the USB adapter, which allows him to charge his phone via his computer at work!The array of adapters is certainly impressive, this was one of my reasons for choosing this product over other similar items. We also purchased an electricity monitor recently, so it s great to have another way to reduce our electricity usage!

#It works! (2008-11-04) I have previously owned a single panel solar charger and it was garbage, the only think it would charge were my Bluetooth headphones. This item however has charged my Nokia N95, Creative Zen Extra MP3 player, and two types of bluetooth headphone, all on one charge!If there s no sun you can plug it in to charge it up before you go out, and it will keep the power in reserve for you.
