#Beware of Inks (2009-07-02) I have just dispensed with a two year old PIXMA- it printed fairly well, but the Canon inks are very disappointing. Photographs taken less than two years ago and displayed, but not in the sun, have faded to a noticeable degree - perhaps 50%. I cannot rate the printer but the inks score zero.
#Excellent value all-in-one (2009-06-30) I purchased this printer last week to replace another Canon printer which had finally given up the ghost after three years of constant use. The printer was easy to set up over a wireless connection but I did find that I had to turn off Zone Alarm for this to work. I have printed word documents and photos so far, used the scanner and photocopier. All were easy to use and I particularly like the printer interface that allows you to print photos with the minimum of fuss. Its great that I can connect it wirelessly to the laptop and send print to it ...
#printer (2009-06-29) arrived within three days, excellent condition. The set-up was easy but then could not get connected to the wire free option but think this was our internet connection and not the printer itself, will have to try again later. Havent tried photograph printing yet but copying and ordinary printing is very good. only reason I have given four stars is because I havent tried all options yet.
#Canon Pixma MP620 All In One printer (2009-06-22) A very neat looking machine which is the first printer (it replaced a Canon Pixma IP420 which Ive given to my daughter) I have put on top of a sideboard unit. I normally keep my printers out of sight. Loads up to print more slowly than its predecessor but does a great job. Am very pleased with it. I doubt that there is better value for money in this type of printer. Tim Barton
#Great Printer (2009-06-15) I have had this Printer/copier for over a month, and am very pleased with the overall results. I did some research and found that for the price this machine was the best spec. No problems so far! Ink cartridges seem to be lasting well.

#Printer (2009-07-03) Seems like a good printer at a reasonable price, so far very happy with it.
#Looks great, but software problems (2009-07-02) I bought a C4480 two months ago and have been having problems with the software ever since. My PC is a brand new Dell Vista and for some reason the scanning software just won t work. I have contacted HP a few times via email and they are either very slow or completely ignore me. Their live service section also continually comes up with error messagesThis is the second HP All-in-one I have bought this year - the other one stopped printing after two days so I had to return it. I was using a different PC at the time, which sugges...
#HP Photosmart C4480 All in one Printer (2009-07-01) Excellent product. Easy to install. I give it 9 out of 10. Only thing wrong it doesn t come with a usb cable for computer. but u can pick one up for about £5.
#Not for me (2009-06-27) I regret I had problems with this product from day 1, printed good photos though, I may have been unlucky, but not for me.
#fantastic printer. (2009-06-24) I wanted a cheap printer to replace an old HP. I decided to go HP again as I have never had problems. This one arrived and was set up in under 20 minutes (Vista on an HP PC), really easy, just followed the instructions, which are in paper form but also on the printers display. There was NO USB lead, but I used the exisiting one, so no problems there. The first thing you do is print a test photo, either your own or theirs. I choose theirs as it was bright and I wanted to see how good it was. I was blown away. It was vibrant and clear, and as g...

#Canon 4600 (2009-07-02) I bought this to replace a Canon 4300 because although I was very happy with the old one I thought it might be time for a change. Boy did i make a mistake!!! Firstly it was a horror to setup 2nd they have changed the preferences as to the tray that you use. I used to use the lower tray for 4x6 photos & the back tray for paper. The lower tray is now the default & I still CANNOT get a4 paper into it so i changed the default to the back tray. It`s OK printing from my home computer but when I connect to the network it makes the lower tray the default. The s...
#Excellent photo printer! (2009-07-02) Having run my original Epson Photo 870 into the ground I replaced it with the Canon iP4600. At the moment Canon are running a £20 cashback scheme on it - which was very helpful!Image quality is excellent (on pearl paper), with very fine detail. The quality almost rivals the professional imaging outlet that I use for photographic work! Even on plain paper the results are very pleasing - great for letters to family with the odd image included. Print speed is superb - it seems much faster than a similarly priced Epson that we have at work. Duplex ...
#Living up to expectations (2009-06-29) After reading lots of reviews finally decided on the Canon Pixma iP4600 Printer (have always used Epson in the past but inks getting very expensive). Setting up was quick & easy for a novice like myself. So far no problems, photos print well & colours accurate.
#Excellent photos (2009-06-23) I bought this mainly for the quality of prints, and the other reviews are right. This printer produces lab quality results!I printed an A4 size photo and it looks stunning - I think I ll frame that one. . . Printing normal e-mail s and documents seems a little faded, but then I haven t tried good quality paper or ink settings for that yet. It works ok with the cheapest paper I could find (Staples basic 80gsm). Speed is ok, although from startup it runs through some maintenance cycle so that s about 2 minutes to do that. It s quite easy to change settings...
#excellent replacement (2009-06-18) [ASIN:B001EO6YZG Canon PIXMA iP4600 Printer]I bought this printer in a hurry to replace my Canon i560, to complete my portfolio for a photography course which had a deadline looming. I glad I stayed with Canon this printer has proved excellent for the price. Good quality photographic prints and good colour matching. Separate paper feeds for plain and photo paper have been really useful.

#A typical Cannon workhorse (2009-07-02) In true Cannon style this printer is massive! Don t expect to be able to pop it in your sideboard when it s not in use! It has a rear paper loader as well as a front one which adds bulk, I don t know why the front tray can t be multifunctional like the HPs. Photo print quality is good, but pictures on ordinary paper as part of a document are not so good. I ve always had HPs, where the quality of all pictures is excellent, no matter what they are printed on, but as HP has developed some dodgy software recently, which kept crashing my comput...
#Canon MP630 (2009-07-02) This printer does all its maker claims it to do. Blacks could be darker, and slow to start up.
#MP630 (2009-07-01) Product description unclear, disappointed that wifi facility not included, unlike the apparently earlier MP610. Printing on CDs is not a facility that is widely required. Otherwise the printing, scanning and copying performances are good.
#Love it! (2009-06-15) I did lots of research to find the right multi purpose printer and am very happy with this one. Does everything it says it will, easy to use, very quiet and can t wait to try out some of the more fun options. I have recommended it to several family and friends. It arrived within weeks of anticipated delivery time and got a great price from Amazon eu. My only complaint would be that within days of it arriving I got one of those you would also like emails from amazon with same printer advertised at cheaper price. At least you can now benefit from the discount!
#Canon MP630 All-in-One Printer (2009-06-12) This printer deserves a 6 Star rating. If it was twice the price I would still give it top rating. I don t think you will find a better value All-in-one. It does exactly what it says on the box and is a joy to use.

#AVOID GREEDY, WASTEFUL, EPSON (2009-07-02) You may well find yourself lumbered, as Epson are so keen to lock you down to ONLY their cartridges, that they keep changing the chip design - so you may buy compatible cartridges for your printer model, only to find that they are NOT compatible at all. . . And, of course, Epson have also chipped their own cartridges so that they CANNOT be refilled. Which, in this green day and age, is pretty unforgiveable. I think you should reward Epson for their greed, and for their disregard for the value of recycling. . . by avoiding their produc...
#Does what you want (2009-06-25) A good all round printer, quick efficient and not too heavy on ink. well worth buying
#Cable not included (2009-06-24) Relatively easy to set up, reasonable printing and reasonably noisy. But two stars only for the new trend of not including a printer cable in the box. The required USB cable probably has a unit price of less than 50p but Epson require you to buy your own seperately. So straight out of the box you will be unable to attach this to your PC unless you have your own cable. Cheap.
#Great value (2009-06-20) Easy to set up and get going although it could do with supplying and extra cable to connect to pc. Speed as paper is snatched through can be alarming and sometimes a bit wonky but otherwise the quality of printing and copying is excellent and the printer is great value for money with affordable consumables.
#Noisy, awkward. (2009-06-18) This Epson replaces a Brother DPC 115C which died when the ink dried inside the printer heads. The Epson looks nice and is easy to connect with the PC. The disadvantages are as follows: the scanning surface is not horizontal so single pages slide before you close the cover. This is a fundamentally stupid design characteristic. The top of the machine is not horizontal either. If you have limited desk space and tend to use the top of your printer a place to stack papers and books, this means the printer takes up desk top real estate that can t do doub...
