#incrediable little thing (2009-07-01) I had made plans to buy a netbook about 2 months before I bought this product, I also come to conclusion to buy this one week before I bought it. I was really looking forward to getting it so I made a mad decision to buy it early, incredible delivery by amazon coming the next morning. the moment the netbook was turned on I was gob smacked at the speed of this tiny little laptop had hidden inside it, not only did this impress me but when I got it I had 35% battery left, this lasted me 4 and a half hours in powersave mode with the brightness at a a...
#ee PC 1000HE (2009-06-29) There are now probably lighter and more compact net books about, however this has a very high spec - 160GB disk, excellent webcam, fast processor, bluetooth, etc. The only complaint is a slightly clattery keyboard - not firm. Screen quality is average. Overall a very usable & portable machine - fantastic battery life - it really is over six hours of continuous use and standby seems to go on for days.
#Excellent Netbook (2009-06-28) Excellent netbook. Very solidly built and feels like it could withstand some fairly rough treatment. Currently travelling in Asia with it and it is holding up extremely well. The wi-fi works well and has a similar range to that of my bigger laptop. The battery life seems to be around 6. 5hours with normal use (wi-fi on, screen at 50% brightness, etc. ) but I m sure more is possible. The keyboard is excellent - very easy to type on. The screen is superb and even the built-in speakers are quite reasonable. The built-in mics work really well fo...
#Which netbook to buy? (2009-06-26) I haven t bought this just yet (but will do if I get a few quid for my old Dell laptop on Ebay this weekend) but have been researching the options. If you are reading this then you are probably doing that too and like me wondering if it should be the Asus, the Acer or the Samsung. Here are my reasons for buying the Asus:1) It apparently has the best battery life. 2) It comes with MS Works (some of the others have a trial version of Office 2007 that presumably expires after a couple of months and then you have nothing - unless you want to fork out m...
#Asus Netbook (2009-06-26) Portable, almost full sized key board, great for web browsing and e mail around the house and in the garden, coffee shop and train! e storage means able to work on same doc on either netbook or pc. Phenomenal battery life.

#externel usb cd/dvd rom (2009-07-04) A straightforward 5 stars, one of the few things that I have unwrapped plugged in and it worked immediately doing just what I expect of it. It seems fairly durable too and a necessary adjunct to the NC10 I bought it for. JB
#USB CD/DVD player (2009-06-28) Good product - works out of the box - works well with my Dell Mini 10. Arrive in time - albeit 6 days which is a bit slow for first class mail !!. Writes CDs and plays Dvds only so beware if you think it will write Dvds !. Comes with two leads one for the USB link and one for USB power - just in case your PC limits the power output from the USB sockets so thats a good design. Leads are also included as well - which also helps a lot.
#Compact and good value for money. (2009-06-25) About as small as I d expect an external DVD drive to get - very compact. It has a nice matt ruberised coating, although this is already starting to come off at the corners after a few month use. I do cart it around in my backpack unprotected though, so that s not really a surprise. It works well with my Samsung NC10. I had to look online to find DVD software, as it doesn t come with any, but that s not realy a problem. Overall, thumbs up: It works well, is compact and good value for money.
#Just don t do it... (2009-06-15) Under no circumstances buy this product. I bought this CD Rom drive for my Notebook and having wasted money on this and on downloading drivers to use it, it still does not work. A complete waste of time and money. Do not, do not buy it. Pay for something with a brand name on it, it will be safer! I wish I can give it zero stars, it really is rubbish. I am only sorry I have to be harsh, but I am really quite frustrated with it.
#External Drive (2009-06-09) ASUS Eee PC 1000H-WHI066X Netbook, Windows XP Home Preloaded, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD (White) I purchased the drive to go with this PC. Unfortunately, I couldn t get the original to work with this machine though it worked with my previous laptop and desktop, it wouldn t install on Eee. I have, today, received a replacement, all appears to be in order, it self loaded immediately and I was able to load from a disk. However, this was only a trial as I have no immediate need of the drive, it s merely as a backup device should the PC require rebooting from the res...

#absolutely fantastic (2009-06-26) An absolutely fantastic device that will certainly save you money. I actually ordered this, the old model (from an amazon reseller) but got the new version. Set up is easy - just clip the plastic detector round the main fusebox wire (there s no wiring to be done) and you re immediately told how much electricity you re using. You can also enter how much you re electicity provider charges you and it tells you how much you re spending at that moment (that s the frightening part) and how much you ve spent in the last month / week / day etc. I d recomme...
#Excellent Product (2009-06-22) Highly rated, does what it says on the box. Only one niggle, my electricity contract is on of the no meter charge contrats, this means I pay more for the first 1200 units used in any given year. The unit allows on/off peak, but cannot take into account this type of contract.
#Just the Job (2009-06-14) Living with 2 daughter who, have everything electronic going and tend to leave things switched on I bought this to see when and where the power was going, it may not save me enough money to go on holiday to some far away hot sunny destination every year but its good to know how your hard earned money is being wasted. . . . . . best buy for years.
#Great illustration of how much is being wasted (2009-06-12) +Set up time < 5 minutes+Batteries included in pack. +Integral stand if used on shelf or stick a screw in wall and hang on thatWithin 3 further minutes discovered TV/Wii/DVD and signal booster were costing about 35p/day to run in standby (worse when DVD was accidently left on). Multiply that across 3 rooms which all have similar set up. 20 mins after that plugged in extensions leads which were hanging around to each and switch all off now when not in use. Have reviewed Breville Quick Cup - and was pleased to see there actua...
#Focus on waste. (2009-06-11) The Owl Cm119 lives up to the claims made for it by the makers and throws a new light on the actual consumption of various units - big and small - some of which differ alarmingly from the popular assumptions. One fault which was soon put right concerns the way in which the large display tended to cut out for no apparent reason, pointing to a failure of the transmitter. This was traced to weak batteries. These have been replaced with heavy duty units since when there has been no further trouble.

#Antec Thermal Grease (2009-06-26) I build my own PC to my needs Games , Music & Surf. When I started to buy my tools for pasting the Proccesor to my CoolerFan I wanted to Buy a good Brand to say that It does what it says on the Tin, It just does it. A small messy but with Kitchen towel it s not a problem. Theres loads to go at just as long as you dont squeeze to much through the tube !Dangerous Metal solution!Theres full instructions in side the Pack but no actual directions. *Tip if you are replacing the solution for old stuff before it and you need to *Clean your TIM with cleaner ...
#Arctic Silver Thermal Paste (2009-06-09) I cleaned the CPU and heatsink surfaces off with the 2 bottle arctic cleaner kit, works a treat. I applied the grease as directed, Make sure you seat the heatsink firmly on the motherboard and that its fixed down securely or (as I did the chip and heatsink aren t together and the safety cut out CPU temp incorrect cuts in before the boot up is half way through. The CPU survived!Once I had looked at the pegs that secure the heatsink to the motherboard I realised I was installing them in the release position and they weren t holding. The sink sho...
#Good stuff (2009-06-05) I cannot say how good this is as I have not much experience with this kind of stuff until recently. But it seems to work well. on a side not, its very hard to draw a consistent line with this. You have to make a blob and spread it with a object. (I used a spoon heh. )
#spot on (2009-05-09) received within days of ordering, item perfect and such a small amount goes a long way
#best thermal paste! (2008-12-02) what can i say? it s arctic silver 5, best thermal paste on the market, provides perfect contact between my AMD athlon 64 X2 and the heatsink, would recommend to and PC builder.

#You get what you pay for...save upfor some better ones.. (2009-05-28) Very cheap feel, lots of sound leakage, not that comfortable, not great quality, doesnt fold, wire v. v. long and no volume control but it is £9. . .
#Easily the worst headphones I ve ever owned. (2009-05-28) These headphones do stay in one piece, and they work. . . That s about it though, if you want to listen to anything, then you re probably better off just whistling to yourself. Distinct lack of volume, and every note twisted and distorted. I am used to ATH-ANC7 and just needed these for something, but my goodness! you might as well wear sea shells on your ears. . .
#Sony MDRXD100 HIFI Headphones Silver (2009-05-17) Very good buy, comfortable with clear souund, I would prefer them to be a little tighter so as to block out more external noise, but on the whole a good buy. Sony MDRXD100 HIFI Headphones Silver
#sony headphones (2009-05-11) Great buy for the money. Perfect for listening to music on my pc. Very comfy, and the extra long lead is a plus, better too long than too short, and the sound is very good. BUY EM!
