#absolutely fantastic (2009-06-26) An absolutely fantastic device that will certainly save you money. I actually ordered this, the old model (from an amazon reseller) but got the new version. Set up is easy - just clip the plastic detector round the main fusebox wire (there s no wiring to be done) and you re immediately told how much electricity you re using. You can also enter how much you re electicity provider charges you and it tells you how much you re spending at that moment (that s the frightening part) and how much you ve spent in the last month / week / day etc. I d recomme...

#Excellent Product (2009-06-22) Highly rated, does what it says on the box. Only one niggle, my electricity contract is on of the no meter charge contrats, this means I pay more for the first 1200 units used in any given year. The unit allows on/off peak, but cannot take into account this type of contract.

#Just the Job (2009-06-14) Living with 2 daughter who, have everything electronic going and tend to leave things switched on I bought this to see when and where the power was going, it may not save me enough money to go on holiday to some far away hot sunny destination every year but its good to know how your hard earned money is being wasted. . . . . . best buy for years.

(2009-06-11) The Owl Cm119 lives up to the claims made for it by the makers and throws a new light on the actual consumption of various units - big and small - some of which differ alarmingly from the popular assumptions. One fault which was soon put right concerns the way in which the large display tended to cut out for no apparent reason, pointing to a failure of the transmitter. This was traced to weak batteries. These have been replaced with heavy duty units since when there has been no further trouble.
