#Crap, Crap Crap product (2009-06-03) This is my sincere request to all that never buy a Lacie product ever. They have no reliability whatsoever and the customer service is worst ever seen. My 2TB HDD crashed twice within span of 6mnths, is there a need to say more about the reliability of the product. Lacie product is a big NO NO for everyone.

#Short Life - Bad Support (2009-05-27) 14 months old and still on warranty. Power supply now dead. Contacting LaCie in France by mail and fax returned a no answer. Opened the disk case knowing that I`ll loose warranty and guess what you have inside - 1 Hitachi Deskstar Disk. Fortunately the disk works in my docking station and I could get all my data. Don`t buy from LaCie. Bad quality products. Company not reliable.

#Quadra d2 Hard Disk (2009-06-28) I bought this because I needed back-up facilities for both Mac and PC. It does the job and I liked the ability to choose between USB and Firewire connections. Maybe the eSATA provision will be useful in future. The instructions on setting up for dual PC/Mac function were not as clear as I would have liked- to many options without sufficient guidance. Overall satisfied.

#Dull, but solid as a rock. (2009-01-12) They don t look the best, but if you want solid, fast and reliable perfomance from a hard drive you leave beneath the desk while you get on with your life, these are the ones. I ve tried a whole bunch of hard drives. They have been sexier looking, but have all failed. These are work horses, not works of art.
