#The Boosh truly span the genre (2008-11-26) Sorry it s taken me so long to get this review written but Bridgette Bardot put me in a time capsule with a drawing of an orange cat holding an air rifle. A great excuse, I know. It s not mine I m afraid but just one from Vince s Book of Excuses for Being Late Volume III, one of many tiny treats housed within this incredible tome - as just one slurp from a whole selection of soups. Some of the other instructional passages in this book are Bob Fossil s A-Z of Animals (where the elephant is `Grey leg-face man ), The Phases of the Moon (`The fu...
#I expected it to be amazing and it was much, much better then that.... (2008-11-12) Every Boosh fan will love this book. Contributions from all characters, in their own unique styles. Sketches, scribblings, crimps, photos, stories, poems and so much more. Random and brilliant. Impossible to put into words really. All I can say is, if you like The Boosh, there is absolutely no doubt that you will love it.
#Great book a must have for fans of the boosh! (2008-11-02) Great read full of fun stuff with art from Noel Fielding himself. the book itself is very nice looking and well made. Plus its chock full of Boosh goodies with good a mini story every so often its great buy for fans and at this price its well worth it!----Alex Gradwell/Venomtheevil----

#Brilliant book (2008-09-14) Amazon delivered this book extremely fast. I read it from cover to cover the morning it arrived. It really is a must have for all Boosh fans! There s paintings by Ol Gregg, Stories from Vince, Howard s Jazz Detective Novel and logs from the Tundra, emails from Tony Harrison and Saboo, Bollo s letters to Peter Jackson. . . you get the picture. It s jam packed with Booshy goodness and I d highly recommend it.

#great read for when husband is gaming (2008-11-24) This book is brilliant for some me-time/time-wasting evenings. I read it over two short evenings when my husband was gaming on the X-Box. It would be equally good on holiday instead of chick-lit or on a wet Saturday afternoon when the children often need attention and you don t want to get into a gripping novel. The chapters are short and therefore not so involved that you want to carry on reading to the exclusion of all else. The book is sometimes informative, but often so laugh-out-loud that the afore-mentioned husband looked awa...
#A welcome drop in price... (2008-11-17) Good to see the price of this book plummeting. . . . . the bargin bin is where it belongs.
#Still in top gear! (2008-11-13) I can t believe the franchise has reached volume 3 already! For Crying Out Loud picks up where And Another Thing left off. And I must say it is vintage Clarkson, ranting on all the usual subjects and more. I can t say I agree with everything he says (in fact sometimes quite the opposite), but this is his genius - he has the ability to make you laugh even if you don t share his opinions. He even finds time to take the mickey out of himself! This book will be on many a Christmas list and rightly so. . . Clarkson remains the king of the genre. That ...
#Amazing, yet again! (2008-10-28) Clarkson continues with some more hilarious and brilliantly British writing. I originally bought one for myself and then bought another two for friends presents! No doubt they will enjoy reading it as much as I have. Well done Clarkson.
#Beetroot! (2008-10-24) Clarkson has a delightful wit and uses the English language with brilliance. His vocabulary and delivery of punchlines is superb. This then is a well crafted book written by a man at the top of his game. As always do not expect to agree with him on everything, his dislike of Americans, Surrey and cats hits my buttons. So does his support of fox hunting a subject I could have a blazing row with him about! Some of his chapters are self mocking and this is his forgiveness moment. This is when the true depth of the man appears and you can forgive the views you d...

#Quite the best book of quotations! (2008-11-03) What a great book - packed with gems of wit and wisdom. Only the interesting-facts QI team could deliver such a great collection and do it so well. Clearly a real labour of love for those who put it together. A veritable treasure trove. An ideal present for almost anyone on almost any occasion.
#Just as good as the TV show... (2008-10-23) I absolutely love this book. I have hundreds of quotation books, but they almost all lack the editorial style of Messrs Lloyd and Mitchinson. The big difference is that quotation books are normally only really reference books, this one flows so that you find yourself absorbed and taken along by it. Other reviewers suggest it s nothing to do with the TV show QI. I don t agree. John Lloyd and John Mitchinson dreamed up and produce the QI TV show, and you can tell the humour and approach is from the same place. The great thing about the TV...
#Interesting. Amusing. Ideal for dipping into. (2008-10-12) This book is simply a collection of amusing quotations from the famous - and the not so famous. It doesn t really appear to have anything more to do with QI than having the series name on the cover. It s a great book for dipping into but hardly something you ll want to tirelessly read from cover to cover. Ideal as a bathroom reader or to amuse others with.
#And I quote... (2008-10-10) Ever stumbled a cross a quote or saying that rang so true, you ve decided to write it down and tuck in a pocket for future reference? Well, this book s full of them. Quotes are powerful things. They can make us happy, sad, laugh, cry, can comfort us, annoy us. . . the list goes on. As such, this book is a rollercoaster of opinions and witticisms, some of which are infamous, some of which are lesser known. It s difficult to review such a book because. . . well. . . it s a bit of a nothingness. It is, quite simply, a collection of quotes from famous p...

#perfect present (2008-12-03) Know someone who likes QI? read last years QI annual? Then you know what to expect from this, more of the same (which is fine by me). By turns, hilarious, educational and fascinating. Quality entertainment by Stephen and the rest of the guys.
#they keep delivering (2008-11-10) I love buying these kinds of books for presents - you can read them first before wrapping-up! I bought this along with a Joined-Up Thinking by Colgan (Stephen Fry gave a quote on the front cover) and both books entertained me hugely on these cold, wet, darker days. great stuff.
