#Freddie s very interesting! (2009-07-01) bought this for our 11 week old. she finds Freddie very interesting! lots of crinkly wings, a squeeker (although too young to press it yet) a mirror, bright colours (black and white on back wings) and a teething toy (although too big for her mouth) Freddie is a good distraction. our baby s eyes light up when she sees Freddie. A very good value for money toy with lots to keep a baby entertained.
#jayneturbo (2009-06-08) i thought freddy was lovely but my 7 month old granddaughter was not impressed, probably would have been more impressed if it had been musical
#fantastic freddie (2009-06-01) Fantastic product my son LOVES this toy. . . he is 3 months now and this is the thing he loves the most . . . Brilliant
#Toy for Eva. (2009-05-28) Great toy for my little girl who is 3 months old. Lots of bright colours and features, can also be hooked onto things.
#Best buy ever! (2009-05-27) My 5 month old daughter adores Freddy and will not go anywhere without it. She is teething at the moment and has been a great aid for this. Great product, great value. Will definitely be buying more of these toys!

#cute, but wouldn t buy them myself (2009-06-30) They were a present for my little boy and I couldn t wait to see him playing with them. So far he liked watching them only. He is three months now and the closest he gets to playing with them is when he chews the butterfly s wings. I attach the rattles to his cot bars and he still likes watching them, but I guess as much as he would watch anything colourful within eyesight. The socks are difficult to put on as they are not elastic at all, and very easy to pull off. And when on his legs they are of no interest to him. Very soon the...
#Great Idea. (2009-06-21) My Lil Baby loves it even though she is quite young, I tend to use one at a time ,or slide the sock over her one hand like a glove. She has just learned to pull it off after quite a few tries. It keeps her occupied. Others have tried to imitate this idea ,but these are lovely and bright, also better quality.
#Fabulous! (2009-06-02) I bought these for my new baby as she couldn t reach the toys on her bouncy chair and she absolutely loves them! The socks don t fit terribly well and they do fall off quite easily. . . but she loves the fact that she can make noises by herself. . . The bright colours and crinkly wings on some of the bugs add to her entertainment and she never tires of them. . . they are an essential addition to her changing bag! Well worth the money and cheaper than buying them in Boots. . . Highly recommended :)
#Great idea...but didn t really work out (2009-06-02) I bought the Lamaze Gardenbug Wrist Rattle & Foot Finder set before my baby was finding her feet (approx 2. 5 months) and so they were pretty useless at first. We put the socks on her feet and she just laid there! The wrist rattles were just as unsuccessful as she got frustrated with being able to see the toys but them being in the wrong place to go easily in her mouth. Now she s almost 5 months she s very interested in her feet but pulls the socks off too easily. They material doesn t have much give in it so they re not easy to ...
#fantastic fun for little people (2009-05-22) I love these toys, I ve bought them for my own baby and they make a great gift for friends new babies too as they re a bit unusual. The characters are cute but more importantly they re nice and bright and make different noises, all the fittings are soft and easy to attach and remove without any discomfort for the baby.

#Bright and attractive (2009-05-07) This is our second purchase in the Lamaze range after Freddie the firefly. It s lovely bright colours and the squeaker is easier to use than on Freddie as it is larger, also the mirror is a better size however our 5 month old son still prefers Freddie as Freddie is easier for him to pick up due to the rings and teething ring. If this had a teething ring on (like Freddie) it would be easier for a small baby to pick up and I would not hesitate to then give it five stars. Overall a good toy.
#My son s favourite toy (2009-03-26) I added this to my Amazon wish list as it was recommended by Amazon & my friend bought it for my son for Christmas. He was only a month old at the time but even then he loved to look at the bright colours and bold patterns (the patterns on the back are black & white so easy for very young babies to look at. He s 4 months old now and it goes everywhere as it easily clips to his car seat or pushchair. There are lots of crinkly bits which he loves as he can do that easily himself, a squeaker and a mirror. This will be a favourite for a while yet.
#looks nice (2009-02-27) I got this for my baby who s due in june. it looks nice. and textures are also very good. i was hoping there would be mroe sounds. it does squeak a little and there a small rattle sound. will have to wait and see whether the baby will like it or not. :)
#A nice, cute little toy! (2009-02-01) have never actually seen this toy as bought it as a christmas present for my six month old niece. I am assured however that she absolutely loves it!
#Scary looking but baby loves Jacques (2009-01-12) We bought this when our baby was around 3 months old, but really she only just started to play with Jacques when she was around 5 months old. We attach him to the car seat and she loves to bat and grab hold of Jacques. Lovely bright colours and crinkle textures as you would expect from Lamaze toys. In my opinion his eyes are quite scary looking! but, overall good toy which our daughter loves.

#busy girl (2009-02-15) These products are wonderful. My little girl is a busy bee and loving the noises. highly recommended and good value
#Really good toy (2009-01-03) I bought this for my 7 month old when she was just two months and she still loves it now. It makes a perfect first toy as it has lots of bits for clumsy hands to grab and chew. It has a lovely sounding bell inside and lovely print for her to admire. There is a little flap which hides a mirror and teething rings.
#Sounds and smells great (2008-08-12) I echo the sentiments of the other reviewers but would like to add that this toy smells great (it has a subtle lemony scent) and makes a really unusual noise which is kind of like the clink two glass bottles make when they touch each other.
#Great item (2008-06-06) My 3 month old daughter shows more and more interest in this. She is fascinated by it. She seems to like a lot of the Lamaze products. Her other favourite Lamaze toy is the Peacock. My friend has a six month old son who also seems to like it. I would definitely recommend this.
#Great Fun!! (2008-05-27) This was the first toy that my son could hold and carry by himself at 3 months old. He is now 6 months old, and it is still his favourite toy. He loves smiling to the reflection of the mirror, and bites the plastic rings and handles, it seems that it works as a good teether for his new teeths too.

#Panda perfect! (2009-06-13) I bought this for my daughter for hanging on her car seat when she was 2 months old. . . now 7 months, she still loves it as much as she first did. . the rings are great for her little teeting mouth, and it s still her favourite toy!
#favourite toy (2009-05-26) Panda is my son s favourite toy by a million miles(6 months). Panda is so good, i m buying a spare.
#I love it and baby loves it (2009-04-19) My baby loved this Panda aversince I showed it to him. It helped him to learn to use his hands, we would just lie him on his back and sit the panda next to him at hand reach. At first he would just punch it, then grab it and now we hang it over his cot or in front of his bouncing chair and he reached for it, grabs it. I think that he loves it for two reasons, the first is that it is black and white and babies only see sharp contrasts, the second it has a face and big eyes and babies love faces. This was his second toy at 2 weeks and he is no...
#Fantastic! (2009-02-22) I bought this for my 9 week old daughter - she loves it! She stares at it in a slightly hypnotised way then starts smiling and talking to it. Great for keeping her entertained in the car. She also has the Lamaze kangeroo which she loves almost as much, Lamaze make great baby toys!
#Brilliant toy for babies (2009-02-13) I bought this for my baby girl when she was only a few weeks old and she s loved it from day 1. She s now 4 months old and loves to chew on the flowers and ears and it s easy for her to hold as there s lots of bits to grab onto. As she s not got much grip control at the moment this is better than a hard rattle as she can t hurt herself with it but it still has plenty of bits to feel and chew.
