#Good Pump (2009-06-22) After leaving the hospital, I was having feeding problems, so I used this pump to help increase my milk supply. I managed to pump more colostrum with this pump than I did using the electric pump at the hospital. I liked the ease of use of the electric pump, but this pump is also very easy to use and easy to assemble. I am very pleased with this pump. The only thing I didn t care for was after boiling it many times to sterilize it, it started squeaking as I used it. I think this is because we have really hard water. This pump is full of flaws:1. design - the pump consists of no less than seven parts that have to be disassembled for cleaning, assembly requires a time-consuming attachment of two silicone rubber gaskets (the breast part and suction membrane) 2. suction - the vacuum is being created only when the lever is being pressed, once the lever is fully depressed, suction stops and milks stops flowing3. reliability - two other revie... #frustrating pump (2009-05-28) I have recently bought a philips avent manual breast pump and recently returned it in exchange for another brand. I found it very frustrating as the circular valve kept popping out during expressing, I had to stop pull the pump apart re-fit the valve and continue only for it to pop out again and again and again, this reduces the sterility and is inconvenient as I use the pump at work, not to mention it takes longer!Maybe I just bought a dud but when you spend more than £20 on a product you don t expect it to be so so so frustrating! However, my second son was born with a tongue tie and couldnt latch on so i had to non-stop express for him (five times a day). It was then that i realised just how fantastic the pump is. I can easily express about 10oz in around 8 mins and thats incredibly fast. I bought the medela mini electric pump when this one broke from wear and tear, and that was so bad i sent it back - it took 40mins to express 2oz! As you can imagine, i went out and bought this one again without ... #Pump it real good! (2009-03-02) I bought this for my wife as she was having problems with breastfeeding and the baby latching on properly. This item really has been great. I think its one size fits all which means it will work on all size of women (and my wife is really small at 5ft 1in). Its powerful and can pump about 120ml in just 5 minutes. As its manual there is no need for batteries or rechargers. It really is exceptional.

#great product (2009-06-22) First of all I was amazed by super quick delivery - ordered the item in afternoon and received next day early morning! :)That s brilliant!I m really happy with the pump I purchased. Now I can express milk very quick and easy. Had a manual pump which I founded very difficult to express milk. :( So after manual pump this electric pump was like salvation for me. I was unable to breastfeed and managed to express milk up to 8-10 times a day for nearly 2 months and it did a really good job. I would give one word of advice, be careful when plugging/unplugging the power cord into the top of the product each time as I was a little vigorous and broke mine, thankfully there is an option to manually pump with a seperate attachment which saved my life and also makes the product very easy if you need to be out and about. It doesn t take much time at all to get used to it and is very comfortable (especially with the rubber petal in the funnel). I have had mine for about a month now and use it about once a day, its helping to keep my milk going when my baby is either sick or fussy and doesn t eat much. There are lots of extra things that it comes with but as I already have bottles, I don t use that much of it. I personally think this is a fantastic product. It s very simple to take apart, wash and put together. #Well worth the money (2009-06-03) This pillow has been well used from day 1, when the babies were born. It s very firm and supports even the largest baby. I would recommend getting a second cover though, as you can guarantee it will get vomited on at some point!! #there s just one niggle..
