#Non arrival (2009-04-13) I can t review this product as it never arrived !! After waiting 2 weeks I cancelled the order and bought elsewhere ( 2 days delivery and £1 cheaper). Amazon just made excuses, 1st class delivery allow 14 days etc, so I gave up.
#Reliable! (2009-03-30) Much better than the grobag egg I used for my first daughter - this one is actually accurate! It does have a light buzzing noise when you activate the back light but like another reviewer said, it s not loud enough to wake a child. Great little product!
#Discreet, consistent and accurate (2009-02-07) BACK STORYWith new twin boys in the house we discovered that our existing old-school-style thermometer (a tube containing liquid glued along a scale) was showing completely the wrong temperature. The ideal temperature for babies, seemingly is around 18 deg Celsius (about 64. 4 deg F). It turns out that the thermometer had fallen apart years ago and had simply been glued back together by some idiot (me!), but in the wrong place. So we needed a new one. Or two. I read a number of favourable reviews for this model and so ordered two: ...
#An excellent little gadget (2008-11-08) I bought two as I suspected they would give different readings (as thermometers often due). I was wrong - they both give virtually the same readings although they did need the best part of an hour after opening the box to settle down. Definitely recommended and I am buying two more for different rooms in the house.
#Does the job! (2008-10-24) Yep, this works as you would expect. Fairly small (the pic makes it seem bigger). Seems accurate. Light works fine - touch the button and it stays on for 7 secs or so then automatically turns off. Battery included (watch style battery). Fairly solid build.

#Bath ducks (2009-02-03) Great buy and still using it after 2 years. Great as room thermometer too and is robust enough to take away with you in your suitcase.
#A great thermometer... till it curled up and died! (2009-01-14) I don t know whether Our thermometer was defective, but it seemed to develop an ingress leak. . . I ve never changed the batteries so the unit has remained sealed since it was purchased. The LCD screen literally curled up and died and the inside steamed up. I m now looking for the guarantee. . ! Otherwise a good thermometer! Tho now I m using an inexpensive (non-mercury) thermometer that cost a fraction of the price:)
#Dangerously inaccurate (2008-11-03) We bought this product assuming that a digital thermometer by a well known brand would be extremely accurate. Our old bath thermometer that changed colour according to the temperature was becoming harder to read, but we d always found it really easy to use - it had a +, - or a tick. We were surprised to find that when the new Avent thermometer was showing 37 deg C the old one would show a + (ie. too hot). We assumed that the old one just wasn t very accurate, and that we must have been making the bath too cold. When our boys (at the time...
#Perfect baby thermometer (2008-10-31) We have three thermometers at home for our little boy, a Grobag egg, one built into the baby monitor and this Philips one. But it is this Philips one I like the best. The Philips thermometer consists of a good, no-nonsense easily read LCD display showing the temperature. The display is covered with a little plastic circle - which looks like it could scratch - but ours hasn t despite some real rough handling. This is mounted into a good tough rubber flower -- not too soft and not too hard. We re happy to let our little boy chew away on it now th...
#Great item (2008-06-01) This is a great item, I have used both in the bath and nursery. Very accurate and fast to give the temp. After two years I m just about to replace mine as bath products have caused a few black marks around the face but it only effects the look. A great a good looking product.

#Good thermometer (2009-04-29) I was very pleased to receive this exellent product. It does the job so much more efficiently than a conventional thermometer.
#excellent thermometer (2009-02-05) I bought it for my daughter who is a vet student. she said it was excellent as it has a 10 second timing on it to read the temperature. This is particularly useful when dealing with difficult dogs! The other vet students are now buying this therometer as the traditional ones have a 30 second timer! I suggest the manufacturer targets the vet scchools!
#Braun High Speed Thermometer (2009-01-18) Be aware that whilst this product is advertised as 10 second technology, this is only if you take the temperature via the rectum (not something that parents should be encouraged to do). When you open the pack and read the manual you will find the temperature can take a lot longer to take axilla or orally. Also, if you take a child s temperature via the rectum, even if thoroughly washed I would not then want to put it in my mouth let alone my childrens . A real shame as 10 second technology was very appealing especially since the tympa...

#musical potty (2009-06-23) my little girl was very lazy and didnt want to toilet train but after buying this potty she did. she was terrified of other potty`s but she loved this 1 sing`s and flushing noises praises the kid too she sings the song as she uses it lol gr8 buy
#excellent!!!! but... (2009-06-18) Quite simply this product is awesome, it is great for getting your kids involved in the idea of potty training as it has captivated my son. The only issue is he hardly wants to sit on it (even after immense amounts of praise) because it is such a great toy?!?!?!I think we will get there in the end with this and if you are getting nowhere with a conventional potty (like us) then i would still recommend this as it gets there attention. Which is a start!
#Good to play but not for potty taining (2009-04-29) I bought this potty couple of weeks ago but my daughter hated it. she loves to play with this but never sit down. After 3 or 4 days she got very much scared of this and started using basic potty which I bought from wilkinson for £1. 19:)) So I would say try the cheap one first rather than wasting your money on the expensive one. Thank you
#potty (2009-04-07) This helped my 2 year old to sit on the toilet. A voice encourages you on doing your business and tells you to use toilet paper, flush etc. The top part can also be used on the big toilet and all the functions still work.
#Its very good (2009-03-13) My son who is one year loves the potty even though he sees it as a toy at the moment. He is begining to learn how to use it very fast. If only i got it early enough maybe i would not be buying diapers now as it is very useful to train kids to use the toilet. Helen

#No more dirty toliet seats! (2009-06-06) These toilet training balls are fantasic. never mind training for toddlers, my six year old was always mis-firing and wetting the back of the toilet, the floor and all surrounding areas. No more though with these balls. It gives him something to aim at and has definately improved the cleanliness of our toilet.
#Ready, Aim, Fire! (2009-03-23) This is a great product. We saw it on Dragons Den and purchased it the next day. It will save you a fortune in bathroom carpet and cleaning products. Boys need something to aim at and this does the trick. Firts clas invention and a great price.
#Waste of Money (2009-02-20) Bought these for my son to help make toilet training more fun. the first thing he did was to reach into the toilet bowl to retrieve the ball. . . I like the concept but I didn t see any benefit in the ball being in the bowl? He s 3 so still sits on the toliet seat, surely kids who stand up for a waz are to old to care about a ball with a face on?the other thing is there really overpriced, you have to remove them after four weeks however mine disappear after two and all they are is a ping pong ball (not king kongs balls. . . )
#Brilliant target practice! (2007-12-13) Saw this on The Dragon s Den and wondered if it would solve the problem of accidental spillages when small and not so small boys are not quite focussed enough on their aim. It did - Not a single accident to mop up since I ve introduced the target ball.
#Ours keep flushing away! (2007-11-17) I think these are a great idea, and sure enough they really helped to improve my little boys aim, as before the floor around the toilet was often wet (yuk!). But we have found that they flush away very very easily, maybe our toilet is too powerful?! It just worries me a bit they are all sitting somewhere in the pipes smiling away!
