#Super!!!! (2008-11-28) This is a wonderful toy! I have purchased it as a gift for my 2 month old nephew as a christmas present. It is perfect. . . . should keep him busy with all the super colours, patterns and textures. A great buy for any baby.
#Stretch the Giraffe - Entertainment for baby! (2008-09-01) Lamaze have a wide range of items for babies which all seem to work well. Stretch the Giraffe contains a wide range of colours, rattles etc to stimulate baby and keep him interested. The belly is black, white and blue - easy colours for baby to focus on in the early days. When baby is a little older he ll be interested in the dangly stretchy legs - one foot has a squeaker, two have (different) rattles and the fourth one is crunchy. There are numerous taggie ribbons on Stretch which babies seem to find fascinating. E...
#So popular we had to buy two!! (2008-09-01) Our 5 month old son loves this and it looks soooo cute too. When we went to visit his 2 1/2 year old cousin, she fell in love with it too and so we had to buy one for her. Her mum said that she carries it everywhere with her!! Aaahhh. It is lovely and bright and fun for kids to play with. Our son has even started hugging it too. Would definately recommend!!
#stretch the giraffe (2008-08-28) i bought two of these - one for my girl Chloe and my friends baby who is the same age - they have to be brought everywhere - they both love it! She loves the different colours and that each foot has something different too - she is teething like mad too so will use him as well for that LOL This toy brings hours of fun for my little girl - i have since bought other lamaze items as they really seems to challenge her - having to grab things and holding onto the handle etc !!! FANTASTIC !!!
#Amazing! (2008-08-01) I bought this toy for our little boy when he was about 7 weeks old. He was transfixed by it immediately! There s something about the tummy of the giraffe that has kept him amused for hours and now that he is aware of the rest of the toy he can be entertained for quite a while - either hanging it from his baby gym, his bouncy chair of just playing with him with it. The colours are bright and the feet give a different sensation/ sound. I would highly recommend this toy! Money well-spent.

When the standard lightbulb was invented, naturally, we applauded. But science means progress - and the world is now looking for alternative ways to light up our homes. This is one of the best we ve found. Inside the Sun Jar is a highly efficient solar cell, a rechargeable battery and three low energy LED lamps. When the jar is placed in direct sunlight, the solar cell creates an electrical current that charges the battery over a few hours. When it gets dark or lights are turned off, this energy powers the three natural-coloured LED lamps inside the jar. The frosted glass of the jar then diffuses the light, giving the appearance of trapped sunlight.

#Candle light (2008-12-01) I brought the sun jar because when i work nights my girlfriend likes a light on so i thought we could try this to save on electricity and still give her the comfort from the light! When it arrived we was very happy with the quality of the light, its a nice jar and would look good on any window ledge! Like the other reviewers have said its waterproof with a good seal so can be left outside if you wish. It automatically comes on when it gets dark unless you switch it off (switch is under the lid) and it gives out a nice glow which is romantic and like a candle l...
#Romance in a jar (2008-10-18) I was given a sun jar recently, and it really is absolutely beautiful. There isn t enough light to read by, but the glow it gives is so very comforting and cosy, and for atmospheric mood lighting, I can t imagine anything nicer. It makes a wonderful nightlight - very warm and soothing, and because it doesn t plug into the wall, you don t need to worry about frying your lampshades or wasting electricity. Its being a jar very much adds to the romance of it, almost as if you went on a picnic that day, went into the woods with a jar to catch tadpoles or butt...
#Surprisingly useful (2008-10-08) I can t give this 5 stars, because I was honestly hoping for a little more light. I really wanted something to read by, and there is no way this is bright enough. With that in mind though, this has been surprisingly useful. It s dim enough that if my partner is home late I can leave it on the bedside table and still sleep. It does give a welcoming glow left on a windowledge, and is attractive enough to leave on the windowledge to charge up. I ve used it as lighting whilst watching TV in an evening. I ve even used it to go get logs after dark. It f...
#shine tiny sun! (2008-07-28) I was recently given a sun jar as a birthday present and I love it. It sits in my front window, which gets the sunlight during the day, and many of my neighbours have said how cosy it is to see it glowing away there after dark! I am planning to get one for the back garden now as well, and a couple more as Christmas presents.
#Sun Jar (2008-06-14) This is really cool. It would make a great gift for anyone especially the eco-conscious. It looks unusual, is a talking point for guests and it saves on electricity. I might get a few more and make a feature of them. You can even use them outside as they are waterproof.

Introducing Play & Grow Freddie The Firefly. Freddie has clinking rings, a tethered teether and a knotted antennae for chewing. Size: 25cm (L) x 35cm (H) x 8cm (W). Birth +

#One man band! (2008-10-14) I bought this toy as it looked like it would hold my attention as well as my baby s! It did the trick as there are so many little details on it. Alongside the bright colours, which were great for my newborn as he is not able to feel the different materials yet, the back is black and white which he spends forever gazing at. Having bought the lamaze monkey also, Freddie has much more to do, including a mirror under one wing-great for peek-a-boo!
#Great toy for alert babies (2008-08-16) I bought this toy for my son when he was born as he is a baby that is always awake so needs lots of stimulation. This has been one of the best buys as he loves the squeaker and the colours meant he could see it when he was a few weeks old. It also rattles and he is now able to get hold of the rings at the bottom to chew. I actually put this toy in the washing machine when it fell out of the car and it was fine - the squeaker still works. A must have for those with active babies.
#Fantastic toy (2008-07-23) I have bought 3 Lamaze toys for my 7 month old daughter and this one is her favourite. It is very colourful, which is typical of the Lamaze range, and has lots of crinkly bits and a button that squeaks. She is entertained for a while biting on the red teething ladybird and also likes chewing on the rings. It is a big toy and hangs well from a play gym or pram. It is a bit difficult to clean but comes up fine with a good scrub with a sponge and hot soapy water. I can t recommend these toys enough, especially Freddie the Firefly.

#Brilliant, the kids loved it! (2008-11-03) Bought this as a present for my cousin s son s christening back at the beginning of the year. An immediate hit with not only the 1 year old being christened but also with his 3 year old sister and cousin, in fact it was a hit with the adults too! There haven t been any problems with it, and the legs stayed once you put them on it unlike on some of the others that my friends have for their children. All in all good value with the amount of things for the kids to do and for how long it will appeal to them as well as the sturdyness in comparis...
#Excellent toy (2008-02-26) My baby daughter received this for her 1st birthday last year and loves playing with it. When it went wrong after several months use we were able to post it (via a FREEPOST address) to Leapfrog who returned it to us serviced and fixed at no extra cost within a week!!!. Callalily(above) should contact Leapfrog direct as they are very helpful and actually know the meaning of customer service. Highly recommended product and company.
#Breaks very easily after very little use (2008-01-20) If you have a little one and are considering buying this item, don t!It is very badly made, after only 3 weeks and being played with a handful of times my son s stopped working in english and would only speak french!Amazon were no help so I asked my husband to look at it as he is qualified in electronics, it turned out that after so little use the switch that changes language was broken and need to be re-soldered. So to sum up, great educational value but CRAP quality, don t waste your money!
#Excellent toy (2007-04-15) We bought this table when our twins were 1 year old. They are now 2 1/2 years old & still have great time using it, singing along the abc song & calling the colours of the piano buttons. I can not recommend this highly enough. It s a great educational toy & very sturdy too. It has survived every missuse so far & children have learned a great deal out of it- from opposites, up-down, open-closed etc. , to learning shapes, triangle, square, etc. & colours, blue, red, yellow, purple.
