#Victorinox Champ (2008-10-17) I bought my first Champ in 1988 and it is still in regular use, having only had a replacement toothpick (15p) and scissor spring (50p). In 1998 I bought the Victorinox SOS kit, which included another Champ, as it was on offer (c£50). It is still as new. Here we are in 2008 and at this price perhaps it is time to buy another one? These really is an excellent quality product which is fantastic value for money!
#Swiss Army Knife/Champ (2008-08-28) I got this knife as a 21st Birthday present. I m now 49!You will appreciate that certain functions have been changed over time to meet the modern world but the fundamentals are that this knife has been well used (and abused) over the years. It s still perfect (the only new bits have been the spring for the scissors and the toothpick)It s simply the best that you can buy.
#Perfect (2008-08-01) I add my name to the other positive reviews of this magnificent knife. Over a period of 25 years I have owned two of them, because the first got stolen twelve years ago and I immediatly replaced it. It has been used daily. The blades have retained their sharpness. The chisel, boring tool, screwdrivers, scissors have been used daily. The crosshead screwdriver has been challenged by some very nasty old screws yet the blades have retained their defintion. You can tell that it has been used by micro-dents, but most other screwdriver bits would have lost the abi...
#Everyone Must Own One! (2008-06-23) Did you know that a man named Karl Elsener, a cutler in Ibach, Schwyz, Switzerland invented the original Swiss Army Knife and it was dispersed to soldiers in 1891? This amazing little invention has been around that long and has gone through more and more improvements. Any outdoors person should not be without one. Whether camping, hiking or fishing, this is a must have. Be careful of cheaper imitations. Everything is stainless steel with thirty-two different uses. It literally has everything you need on a camping trip. You can read about more i...
#Amazing Multifunctional Tool (2008-02-14) It s worth to spent every money. I have one for almost 20 years and it s still working like new. This one should be a gift for somebody, but I think that I will keep it :) If You need a knife with many different tools, this should be Your perfect choice.

#Can t live without it (2008-04-25) I was bought a swiss army climber about 6 or 7 years ago by my mother. since having it I have found all the blades useful with the possible exception of the multi purpose hook, but I am not a climber. Presumably if I was this would be the icing on the cake. Every other blade has been used often, even the reamer although I always thought reaming was an intimate pastime. If this is so, although my innocence can t confirm it, I would suspect this tool is not named with that (whatever it is) in mind. It is compact as swiss army knives go. It fit...
#Good Knife! (2008-04-02) Mine is about 10 years old - I was given it by my Dad after he lost it, went out and bought a new one then found it again. I ve been using it for whittling odd things quite a lot and the blade seems to still be quite sharp, although I have sharpened it once. The stainless steel edge keeps very well. All of the other functions are very good, and the scissors will easily cut through most things. Not sure what the reamer is supposed to be for but it does a good job at punching holes and untying tough knots. Just one word of warning though: if you are looking f...
#Best Swiss Army Knife (2007-09-13) All Swiss Army knives are great - unbeatable quality and they ll last forever. Having said that, the climber is the best Swiss Army Knife in my opinion, it has the best combination of tools that actually get used - can & bottle openers, blade, scissors, tweezers. Having one of the giant ones just isn t necessary and you end up not taking it anywhere because it s too heavy.
#Rediculously useful! (2007-08-31) I got one of these just a few months ago, but it has allready had its share of ware and tear. . . Luckily however you don`t notice it because it`s such a tuff little thing. My blade remained razor sharp ever since I got it, and it has needed no maintainence. Even though it only has a few attachments, you can improvise and make up for it. That seving needle thingy on the back can be used as a: fish scaler, shallow-cut knife, punch, chissle, needle and alot more! Also note that the hook is handy for getting you`r pound out of a trolly if you don`t wa...
#Great! (2006-03-20) I was given one of these climber knifes a while ago, it was my dads before and is still in perfect condition, it is infinitely useful, a great first pocket knife. And the price is absolutely fantastic, for a knife that should last forever, providing you don',t mistreat it of course.
