#渋くて、濃くて、奔放で (2005-08-23) コクがあってキレがあるとは某ビールのコピーだが、これにワイルドを付けるとそのまま、このアルバムのコピーである。猥雑で自由奔放で濃厚な演奏を聴いてるとこのオヤジと一緒の時代に生きてたら楽しかったろうに・・・の想いが湧き上がってくる。今聞いている歌に飽きたらこのテキサス男のアルバムに耳を傾けて欲しい。

#フェイバリット・ライトニンの一枚 (2005-07-28) テキサス・ブルースの巨人、ライトニン・ホプキンスはアルバムもかなりの数がある。ダントツ有名なのが「Mojo Hand」だ。他にも名盤に事欠かないライトニンだが、個人的にはHerald録音をこそがグレイテスト。１６曲入りの「Lightnin and the Blues: The Herald Sessions 」が入手し易いようだが、廃盤中のEmber盤「Remember Me」は２６曲入りで圧倒的好内容。ダーティでワイルドで、ギターも凄まじいことこ�...
