Exclamations of religious awe are in order. Legendary and long sought-after, this live Led Zeppelin collection is nothing less than the rock music equivalent of the Holy Grail. Quite simply, this is what all the fuss was about. Given that they were the biggest band in the world, Zeppelin were notoriously camera-shy in their heyday. Their official filmic legacy until now has been just the fascinating but flawed The Song Remains the Same. While this new set presents some previously unseen footage from the same 1973 Madison Square Garden gigs, its real wonders lie in the earlier (1970) Royal Albert Hall footage and the later Earls Court (1975) and Knebworth (1979) concerts. Everything here looks and sounds new-minted, thanks to painstaking restoration and remastering of both audio and visual sources, a Herculean labor of love on the part of co-producer Dick Carruthers working hand-in-glove with Jimmy Page. Trawling through thousands of yards of previously unseen film and unheard tape...

#The Ultimate Music-DVD (2006-08-05) In fact, there is not much to say. If you are torn in half thinking Should I, shouldn t I. . . , take these to note. . . 1) You like/love Led Zeppelin?2) You enjoy a good energy-filled concert? Or better yet, several of them?3) You appreciate a good sound?4) You love little surprises (= menus are actually song performances or rare material of the group)?5) Interview-bits are interesting to you?6) You want to watch and learn great musicanship and/or how a suberb music-DVD is made?7) You are a music-lover and a collector of high-quality material?8) Yo...
#Captivating concerts (2005-10-06) Incredible music from an incredible era. Can be played over and over. . . really worth having in your library!
#Great! (2005-03-11) I got this DVD for christmas and honestly, its probly the best gift I ve ever gotten. When i first watched it i was blown away with all the brilliant performances on it. . It s got the 1970 Royal Albert Hall show(including a brilliant version of white summer) performance to 7 songs from Knebworth 79 . Its also got great shows from Madison square garden, Earls Court plus lots of rare footage including interviews, Extras and two promo videos for Over The Hills and Far Away & Travelling Riverside Blues in between. Also its got a great little booklet with each disc...
#Dazed and Confused (2004-12-31) WOW!! this truly is the HOLY GRAIL of Led Zeppelin. Got this for christmas and I didn t know what to expect. I was blown away. Visual and audio is stunning, this has all the magic and mystery of Zeppelin at the height of their career, with over 5 hours of unseen everything. The charisma of Zeppelin shines through. Bonzo s thunderous pounding rhythm, Jones bass, keyboards and mandolin create the balls of the band. While Jimmy Page s guitar work is the cutting edge sound all rock guitarists still today try to emulate. You have to experience Page playi...
#ARE YOU KIDDING ME? (2004-09-25) Thought Song Remains the Same video was good. Just got this DVD a couple days ago and was going to wait to play it this weekend during a bbq smoker party with some other ZEP fans. I cheated, it s the day before and thought I d have a little taste of the first tune. . . . . . . . well it s still playing an hour later as I m writing this review and I feel no remorse. I m old school rock from my high school days in the 70 s and watching this makes me wonder what happened. Any younger folks out there that appreciate this DVD all the power to ya and...

#Well worth the wait (2008-04-12) This is Maiden at their peak. This is awesome. The sound is high quality. Steve Harris is on a different level. Video is in 4:3 format and is a bit grainy, but couldn t be any better for 1985. The video editing is A+ and the band s performance gets top marks. It leaves you wondering how it was humanly possible for these guys to play so many shows at such an intense level. The bonus disc is entertaining too. Lots of good interviews, a great look at how appreciated they were by the Polish fans, and an offering of an epic show in Brazil whic...
#WOW!! (2008-03-25) What a concert! I bought this on VHS back in the 80 s and I was blown away then! Twenty years later it still ROCKS!! This was Iron Maiden at their peak, and every fan should have this in their collection - nobody puts off shows like this anymore.
#Great product from a great band (2008-02-09) Once again Iron Maiden has provided us with a good product. The first disc is the performance at Long Beach Arena in 1985 during the World Slavery Tour. Both the video and the sound quality are perfect. While the set is the same as on the CD version, the video was not recorded on the same night as the audio tracks for the album so it does not feel like watching something you heard dozens of time. In my opinion however the most interesting part will be the second disk on which you get most importantly an hour long documentary on the makin...

#Queen Rocks You re World (2006-08-03) For a Greatest Hits -collection, this is an excellent one. Containing all Queen-hits from 1974-1980, CD provides a lot of pure listening fun. Casual fans make a good buy with this, but required is Greatest Hits II containing later hits by Queen, from 1982-1991. With these two you get a pretty good view for why Queen was and still is so special. So why purchase this edition and not the older one? (Greatest Hits originally in vinyl 1981) Well, as technology develops, we get better sound with these newer CDs. Also, this disc contains a rare single...
#FANTASTIC!!! (2005-10-09) This has got to be one of the best Queen CD s that has been made it is Fantastic!! to buy this CD it will probably be the best thing you have ever done. you won t regret buying it. and that coming from a 15 year old child!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
#Queen II???? (2004-07-16) This is a good collection but something is missing? Where are the great tracks from Queen I and Queen II? I mean the tracks ",Keep Yourself Alive",, ",Jesus",, ",My Fairy King",, ",Father to Son",, ",Funny How Love Is",, ",The March of the Black Queen",, ",White Queen (As It Began)",??? There is only one track from Queen II (Seven Seas of Rhye) and no tracks from Queen I! And of course there s only two tracks from ",A Night at the Opera", (",You re My Best Friend", and ",Bohemian Rhap...
#Great CD And Comment To The Last Comment (2004-01-16) This is the original 1981 UK Version of Greatest Hits with an added bonus track from the Day at The Races LP. This is a great remaster! Best yet! As for the other comment about Bohemian Rhapsody not being released in the US till Waynes World. . LMAO!!!!!!! That comment was obviouly done by a youngster. Bohemian Rhapsody was a #1 hit in 1975 on the pop charts in the USA and every Queen LP was released in the USA! The original 1981 Greatest Hits LP released in the US had the exact same cover as this accept the tracks were in a diffe...
#all good (2003-12-23) This was the original UK release of Queen s greatest hits and is the best version of it. It has Queen s biggest track-Bohemian Rhapsody, the US release does not. (maybe because it was not released in the US until after the movie Waynes World, which was ages after the song was first released) Maybe if you guys didnt have to pay extra for this one you might appreciate it more.

#Return to Form (2008-08-24) The True successor to 95s Sea of Light, this album returns Heep to the hard rock forum with a vengeance. Tight, no nonsense melodic hard rock (NOT Heavy Metal!) Heep blast from the starting gate with the instrumental Wake the Sleeper(baring the oohs and aahs and the wake the sleeper chorus)the band leaves little doubt that they can rock out at full torque which immediately flows into Overload the albums first song and continues unabated until the albums closer War Child. There s no filler on this album, every song is a monster. A must for any hard roc...
#Rock on! (2008-08-21) I can t beleive how good this album is. A really great balance of an old 70 s sound (think classic deep purple) and a modern sounding production. Guitars are everywhere, the keyboards are just balanced right, and boy, this album really rocks! It s the first time I hear of this band. . . how is it I missed them for all these years? Where was I??? I m ashamed! I m gonna have to check out their back catalogue for sure. A few standout tracks: Wake the sleeper, Tears of the world, Angels walk with you, War child.

#EXCELLENT Compilation! (2004-07-20) This is one of those rare high quality greatest hits compilations that deal a hearty selection of great Queen Songs during their finest hours. If you want only one Queen CD with a solid grouping of Queen s work, this package is the way to go. You not only get their signature songs, but also a great sampling of their best songs that got little radio play like Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy, Seven Seas of Rhye, and Now I m Here. All of Queen s albums from their debut up until the 1978 release of Jazz are, in my opinion, such excellent pieces of work th...
#No Bohemian Rhapsody (2004-07-07) This is a very Queen album, but it doen t have Bohemian Rhapsody on it and thats their best song. Still you should definitley get it if you can.
#Definitely worthwhile (2004-06-22) This collection is necessary to anybody who likes rock. Queen are the greatest band ever (in my opinion). Queen are famous for We will rock you and we are the champions , but those aren t the best songs on the album. Another one bites the dust and Crazy little thing called love are all-time classics, and they were Queen s first two #1 hits in the US. Killer Queen and Somebody to Love are both brilliant songs. Other notable songs are Bicycle Race , Now I m here , seven seas of rhye , and Don t stop me now. There are, however, two mi...
#WHAT??!?!?!?!? (2004-06-21) this is a pretty good queen greatest hits cd with just most of their popular radio hits and i gave it two stars for the one problem i had with this cd WHERE IN THE HECK IS BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY?!?!?!?!?!?!?? for that reason alone nobody should buy this cd go and look for a better greatest hits cd of queen one that has RHAPSODY!!!
#Title should be ",Dude, That s Messed Up",... (2004-06-04) since it deliberately does not include Bohemian Rhapsody and a few other hits, leaving them for the Classic Queen CD. I will readily admit I m not a big fan of Queen s stuff after Under Pressure (another hit not included on this). I prefer their earlier work. But a solid half of this CD (and the ",Classic Queen", CD) is that later-80 s- yeah, this is Queen but I ll always skip these tracks since they re not that good -stuff. Presumably, the record company thought they needed to save a few hits for the Class...
