#Frustrating... (2008-11-30) I ve been following Enya for almost 20 years, now. Since Shepherd Moons, she s been pretty hit-and-miss with her work, and this is yet another disappointment. The original songs are rather boring, and My, My! Time Flies! just doesn t work with the blues guitar riffs. Her arrangements of O Come, O Come, Emmanuel and Silent Night are fine, and those are about the only two songs worth listening to. #Pure voice and great Xmas Carols (2008-11-30) If you like the Sarah Brightman in her musicals you might enjoy those classics of xmas songs. A great choice of more european xmas carols, very well arranged and produced. If you are looking for a more exotic xmas album, you might consider the exotic Loreena A Midwinter Night s Dreamwhich is influenced with middle eastern sounds. But if you really look for something new and not about xmas, check out this lovely female singer by the name of Marcome River Of Soul, her music is refreshing and very ethereal.

#Just wonderful! (2008-11-08) This album is great, as all Sarah s albums. It gets you into the Holiday spirit, even though the Holiday season is not here just yet. #Exotic Xmas with Middle eastern tones (2008-12-02) A very distinct xmas album imbued with an exotic touch by Loreena. She has a way with middle eastern intonations that makes this album possibly played year long for some titles. Another non typical Christmas album this year from Enya, if you like the style And Winter Came. A more European traditional album is Sarah s new album A Winter Symphony, very well done. #Good Rock CD (2008-11-18) It s a pretty good rock cd. Of course, the highly anticipated Rob Pattinson song had to fall short. Guitar was awesome, vocals not so great-embarassing, actually. It sounds like his nose is being pinched by a clothespin. I would like to hear some other vocal pieces from him to really decide if I would listen to him or not. Also, the lullaby isn t strictly a piano piece as written in the book, it s an orchestral arrangement-also a disappointment. It sounded nice, just not what I was led to expect.
