#Just wonderful! (2008-11-08) This album is great, as all Sarah s albums. It gets you into the Holiday spirit, even though the Holiday season is not here just yet. I really love it, and I strongly recommend it! I hope Sarah will sing live some of it during her Symphony tour in few weeks -- yey, I m gonna see her live!!!

#Love It!! (2008-10-25) Best in a LONG time if you are a fan!I ve been loving the train track on the radio whenever I catch it. I wheeled right through it and instantly liked many of the other tracks. Many influences through the album George Thorogood influenced riffs on one, blues and heavy base lines on others. You might need a grain of salt with this review, as i LOVED Ballbreaker and listened to Stiff Upper Lip for close to a year after buying it. This I think immediately surpasses S. U. L. , and would be on a par with Ballbreaker. Track 11 has me turning the volume in my Audi lo...
#Thunder from down under returns.... (2008-10-23) This is one of the best albums the boys have put out. The first single is a good rock song and the album just builds from there. As I listened to the enitre album I loved the sound. Unlike other albums there wasn t alot of filler. It was slick, flowed from beginning to end and some of the songs were upbeat and fresh. ACDC have kept true to style and I could hear some sounds from the Bon Scott era as well as the Back in Black era yet they had a modern sound. The packaging was unique, in a hardback book style with lots of pics and lyr...
#nothing new! that s perfect... (2008-10-22) One of the best rock group in the world, who asstand for years on the scene of hard rock, theyhave nothing to proved and still doing what theylove the most, play rock. . . enjoy it loud! 15 rockingsongs with nothing wrong to it. . . just perfect. Marc, Montreal.
#Acdc- Black Ice review (2008-10-10) I was fortunate to hear an advanced copy of the new acdc album black ice. I was pleasantly surprised. Here is what I thought1. Great vocals by Brian, yes he cannot hit those high notes anymore but he doesn t not sound like daffy duck anymore as in the past. 2. Very melodic again it seems that Brian really worked hard on ther melody something that has been missing from the last few albums3. Most of the songs are toe tapping strong, usually you get two or three good tracks on this album I would say 12 out of 15 are great. 4. They should have jus...

#A MASTERPIECE!! (2008-11-18) THUMBING THROUGH THE ROLLING STONE THAT WAS IN MY MAILBOX YESTERDAY, I CAME ACROSS THE ISSUE S MAJOR ARTICLE REGARDING THE GREATEST VOICES IN MUSIC. I DID NOT SEE BURTON CUMMINGS S NAME THERE. EVEN A HACKNEYED PUBLICATION PAST ITS PRIME MUST HAVE SOMEONE THERE WITH EARS. OH, WELL. TO THIS DISC RELEASE, SUFFICE TO SAY THAT THE MAN S VOICE IS BETTER THAN EVER, THE WORDS ARE EXRESSIVE AND CONTEMPLATIVE, AND THE MELODIES PURE AND MOVING. I MUST BUY MORE COPIES AS CHRISTMAS GIFTS AS I DON T SEE A U. S. RELEASE FOR THIS GEM OF MODERN MUSIC. THANKS, BUR...
#Excellent, Amazing, I love that Burton s back! (2008-11-17) I ve been waiting for BC to have a new CD, and this one is fantastic. I ve always been a fan, but every cut on this album is amazing. I think the DVD is great, too, to see the recording process and to get inside the production of each song. This is a must-have for any Burton Cummings fans, Guess Who fans, or those who just like great music. The songs have so much meaning, it s at the top of my collection.
#BC is back! (2008-11-17) I ve been one of the faithful followers of Burton Cummings and his music since his Guess Who days. . . even saw them at age 15 when they played in Boston in between their So Long Bannatyne and Rockin albums. So when the band reunited in 2000 it was a no-brainer to make the trip to Montreal to catch their show. You can imagine how I was looking forward to another studio album after Jukebox (with Randy Bachman). . . this might well be the best solo recording Burton s ever released. The voice is right on the money, the music is contemporary without being trend...
#Well worth the wait - Another Classic Burton Cummings album! (2008-11-13) Wow what an album! You wonder why it took Burton Cummings so long release such a great album after so long but you really shouldn t be surprised how good it is. After all this IS Burton Cummings - the greatest Canadian artist of all time. This album is incredible and right up there with the 70 s and early 80 s releases we know so well. Above The Ground is a far better album that 1990 s Plus Signs and 1984 s Heart . We really haven t seen a new release as good as this since Sweet Sweet . No filler on th...
#Classic Vocals and Writing from Classic Rocker (2008-11-01) The Burton Cummings led Guess Who are staples of classic rock radio with great songs like the rock anthem American Woman and the endearing ballad These Eyes. While many classic rockers are happy to sit in their easy chairs and collect royalties, Burton Cummings has embarked on an ambitious project of all new music with all the songs written by Cummings himself. It has always been known that Cummings possesses one of the finest voices in rock and roll, but Above the Ground also proves that he is one of rocks greatest songwr...
