#Great reading (2009-12-04) This is a thoroughly enjoyable read. This man obviously has a far greater intelligence than he gives himself credit for. It is well written and extremely funny in parts, but also gives an insight into the mind of a fighter, of which he has proved himself to be one of the best. His humour is mostly self-deprecating but when he chooses to big himself up he does it with style as well. Just read his own review of the book on the back.
#Get it from your library (2009-08-19) I m a huge fan of Forrest Griffin so I had to pick this up. Ultimately I was disappointed. There s some pretty funny stories in here but it s more like reading someone s blog and there really seems to be very little structure to the book. The instructional section at the back isn t going to worthwhile unless someone is a fighter themselves or is just a really hardcore fan. So not terrible by any means and I m glad I read it. But I will definitely be re-selling as I don t have any desire or reason to read it again.
